Mica 2
1 Weh denen, die auf Unheil sinnen, auf ihren Lagern Böses planen! Beim ersten Morgenlicht vollbringen sie's; sie haben ja die Macht dazu.
Alas for them who devise iniquity and work wickedness upon their beds, —in the light of the morning, they will execute it, for it is in the power of their hand.
2 Nach Feldern tragen sie Gelüste und rauben sie, oder nach Häusern, und nehmen sie hinweg. Sie vergewaltigen den Herrn samt seinem Haus, den Mann mit seinem Eigentum.
Thus do they covet fields and seize them, and houses and take them away, —and so they oppress the master and his household, the man and his inheritance.
3 So spricht deshalb der Herr: "Ich plane Unheil gegen dies Geschlecht. Dem könnt ihr euren Nacken nicht entziehn; darin könnt ihr nicht aufrecht gehn. Denn eine schlimme Zeit wird's sein."
Therefore, —Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! devising, against this family, a calamity, —from which ye shall not remove your neck, neither shall ye walk loftily, for, a time of calamity, shall it be.
4 An jenem Tag stimmt man auf euch ein Spottlied an; man singt ein Klagelied, das heißt: "Wir sind vollständig ausgeraubt. Vertauscht hat er den Anteil meines Volkes. Wie nimmt er's mir hinweg? Dem Feinde teilt er unsere Felder zu."
In that day, shall one take up against you a by-word, and lament a lamentable lamentation, saying—we are made, utterly desolate, the portion of my people, he passeth to others, —How doth he set me aside! To an apostate, our fields, doth he apportion.
5 Gewiß! Euch spannt die Meßschnur niemand mehr noch weiter in des Herrn Gemeinde aus.
Therefore, shalt thou have none to throw a measuring-line by lot, —in the convocation of Yahweh.
6 "Weissaget nicht!" So geifern sie: "Sie sollen nicht zum Unheil prophezeien! Sonst bleibt nicht die Beschämung aus."
Do not sputter—So they sputter! They must not sputter as to these things, Must he not put away reproaches?
7 Was wird da ausgesagt in Jakobs Haus? "Ist denn der Geist des Herrn ohnmächtig? Sind seine Werke solcher Art? Gefallen meine Worte nicht mehr: 'Ich wandle mit den Redlichen?'
O thou who art said to be the house of Jacob, Is the spirit of Yahweh, impatient? Or are, these, his doings? Are not, his words, pleasant to him who is upright in his walk?
8 Doch schon seit langer Zeit hat sich mein Volk feindselig aufgelehnt. Ihr zieht das Unterkleid mitsamt dem Mantel unbesorgten Wandrern aus, den Krieg erneuernd.
But, against my people, as an enemy, he setteth himself, from off the robe, they tear away, the cloak, —from such as are passing by with confidence, as men averse from war.
9 Ihr treibt die Weiber meines Volkes aus ihrem Haus, darinnen sie sich wohlgefühlt, und ihren Kindern nehmt ihr weg die Mütter, die sie in ihren Wiegen eingeschläfert.
The wives of my people, ye do even drive out, each from the house of her darlings, —from over her children, ye do take away mine ornament, as long as life shall last.
10 Auf! Fort! Dies ist jetzt keine Ruhstatt mehr. Sie ist entweiht, verschuldet durch ein schreckliches Verschulden.
Arise ye and depart, for, this, is not the place of rest, —Because it is defiled, it shall make desolate with a desolation that is ruthless.
11 Wenn einer löge, der mit Lug und Trug umgeht: 'Ich fordre für dich Wein und Met', dann würde dieses Voll, beistimmen.
If there be a man, who goeth after wind, and, falsehood, hath woven, [saying] —I will discourse to thee, concerning wine and strong drink, then shall he become a fountain of discourse unto this people.
12 Dann bringe ich dich, Jakob, insgesamt zusammen, wenn ich den Rest von Israel herhole, und wie die Schafe in die Hürde bringe ich sie ein. Wie eine Herde in dem Stall, so machen sie der Menschenmenge wegen Lärm."
I will, surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee, I will, surely gather, the remnant of Israel, at once, will I make them like sheep in distress, —Like a flock in the midst of its pasture, shall they hum with men,
13 Vor ihnen zieht der Führer her. Sie ziehen aus und schreiten durch das Tor und ziehn hindurch. Ihr König zieht vor ihnen her, der Herr an ihrer Spitze.
One making a breach, hath gone up, before them, they have broken in, and passed through, and, by the gate, have departed, —and their king, hath passed through, before them, with, Yahweh, at their head!
