Lukas 13
1 Zu eben dieser Zeit kamen einige und erzählten ihm von Galiläern, deren Blut Pilatus vergossen habe, wie sie gerade opferten.
Were present now some at the same time telling to Him about the Galileans of whom the blood Pilate mingled with the sacrifices of them.
2 Er sprach zu ihnen: "Ihr meint wohl, diese Galiläer seien größere Sünder gewesen als alle anderen Galiläer, weil sie solches erlitten haben?
And answering (Jesus *k*) He said to them; Think you that Galileans these sinners beyond all the Galileans were because (these things *N(k)O*) they have suffered?
3 Gewiß nicht, sage ich euch. Vielmehr: Wenn ihr euch nicht bekehrt, so werdet ihr alle ebenso zugrunde gehen.
No, I say to you, but only unless you shall repent, all (likewise *N(k)O*) you will perish.
4 Oder meint ihr, es seien jene achtzehn, die durch den Einsturz des Turmes am Siloe den Tod gefunden, schuldiger gewesen als die anderen Bewohner Jerusalems?
Or those (eighteen eighteen *N(k)(o)*) on whom fell the tower in Siloam and killed them, think you that (these *N(k)O*) debtors were beyond all (the *no*) men who are dwelling (in *k*) in Jerusalem?
5 Durchaus nicht, sage ich euch. Wenn ihr euch nicht bekehrt, so werdet ihr alle ebenso zugrunde gehen."
No, I say to you, but only unless (you shall repent, *NK(o)*) all (likewise *N(k)O*) you will perish.
6 Dann trug er ihnen dieses Gleichnis vor: "Jemand hatte einen Feigenbaum in seinem Weinberg stehen. Er kam und suchte daran Frucht, fand aber keine.
He was speaking then this parable: A fig tree had a certain [man] planted in the vineyard of him and he came seeking fruit on it and not did find [any].
7 Da sprach er zum Winzer: 'Sieh, schon drei Jahre komme ich hierher und suche auf diesem Feigenbaum Frucht, finde aber keine. Hau ihn heraus! Wozu saugt er den Boden aus?'
He said then to the vinedresser; Behold three years throughout these I come seeking fruit on fig tree this and not do find [any]; do cut down (therefore *NO*) it; so why so why even the ground should it use up?
8 'Herr', erwiderte ihm jener, 'laß ihn dieses Jahr noch stehen, ich will um ihn herum aufgraben und Dung einlegen;
And answering he says to him; Sir, do leave it also this the year, until when I may dig around it and may put [in] (manure; *N(k)O*)
9 vielleicht bringt er in Zukunft doch noch Frucht; wo nicht, magst du ihn heraushauen lassen.'"
and perhaps and perhaps indeed it shall bear fruit in the [time] soon happening. lest however except yet you will cut down it.
10 Er lehrte irgendwo an einem Sabbat in einer Synagoge.
He was now teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbaths.
11 Siehe, da war eine Frau, die schon achtzehn Jahre lang einen Krankheitsgeist hatte. Sie war gekrümmt und konnte sich nicht ganz aufrichten.
And behold a woman (was *k*) a spirit having of infirmity years (eighteen eighteen *N(k)O*) And she was bent over and not able to lift up herself to the full.
12 Als Jesus sie erblickte, rief er sie zu sich her und sprach zu ihr: "Frau, du bist von deiner Krankheit befreit."
Having seen then her Jesus called [her] near and He said to her; Woman, you have been freed from the sickness of you.
13 Er legte ihr die Hände auf, und sogleich richtete sie sich auf und lobte Gott.
And He laid upon her the hands, and immediately she was made straight and was begining to glorify God.
14 Doch voll Entrüstung, daß Jesus auch am Sabbat heile, sprach der Synagogenvorsteher zum Volk: "Sechs Tage sind zur Arbeit da; an diesen kommt und laßt euch heilen, doch nicht am Sabbattag!"
Answering now the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because on the Sabbath healed Jesus, he was saying to the crowd (that *no*) Six days there are in which it behooves to work; in (these *N(k)O*) therefore coming do be healed and not on the day of the Sabbath.
15 Der Herr jedoch entgegnete ihm: "Ihr Heuchler, bindet denn nicht jeder von euch am Sabbat seinen Ochsen oder Esel von der Krippe los und führt ihn zur Tränke?
Answered (therefore *N(k)O*) to him the Lord and said; Hypocrites! Each one of you on the Sabbath not does he untie the ox of him or the donkey from the stall, and (having led [it] away *NK(o)*) give [it] drink?
16 Doch diese, eine Tochter Abrahams, die der Satan schon achtzehn Jahre gebunden hält, sollte nicht am Sabbattag von dieser Fessel befreit werden dürfen?"
This now a daughter of Abraham being whom has bound Satan behold ten and eight years, not she was being able to be loosed from bond this on the day of the Sabbath?
17 Bei diesen Worten mußten sich alle seine Gegner schämen. Das ganze Volk jedoch ward voll Freude wegen all der großen Taten, die er vollbrachte.
And these things when is saying He were ashamed all those opposed to Him, and all the crowd was rejoicing at all the glorious things which were being done by Him.
18 Dann sprach er: "Wem ist das Reich Gottes gleich? Womit soll ich es vergleichen?
He was saying (then: *N(k)O*) To what like is the kingdom of God? And to what will I liken it?
19 Es gleicht einem Senfkörnlein, das jemand in seinen Garten säte; es wuchs und ward zu einem großen Baume, so daß selbst die Vögel des Himmels in seinen Zweigen nisteten."
Like it is to a grain of mustard which having taken a man cast into garden his own, and it grew and it became a tree (great *KO*) and the birds of the air encamped in the branches of it.
20 Und weiter sprach er: "Womit soll ich das Reich Gottes vergleichen?
And again He said; To what will I liken the kingdom of God?
21 Es gleicht einem Sauerteig. Den nahm ein Weib und mengte ihn mit drei Maß Mehl, bis alles ganz durchsäuert war."
Like it is to leaven which having taken a woman (hid *NK(o)*) in of meal measures three until it was leavened all.
22 So ging er lehrend durch die Städte und die Dörfer und zog weiter auf dem Wege nach Jerusalem.
And He was going through by towns and villages teaching and progress making toward Jerusalem.
23 Da fragte ihn jemand: "Herr, sind es wenige, die gerettet werden?"
Said then one to Him; Lord, if [are] few those being saved? And He said to them;
24 Er sprach zu ihnen: "Bemüht euch, durch die enge Tür einzugehen. Ich sage euch: Es werden viele einzugehen suchen, jedoch es nicht vermögen.
do strive to enter in through the narrow (door; *N(K)O*) for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in and not will be able.
25 Wenn sich der Hausherr einmal erhoben und die Tür abgeschlossen hat, so werdet ihr draußen stehen, an die Tür klopfen und rufen: 'Herr! Mach uns auf!' Doch er wird euch entgegnen: 'Ich weiß nicht, woher ihr seid.'
From what maybe may have risen up the master of the house and may have shut the door then you may begin outside to have stood and to knock at the door saying; lord (lord, *K*) do open to us; And he answering will say to you; Not I do know you from where are;
26 Dann werdet ihr erwidern: 'Wir haben doch vor deinen Augen einst gegessen und getrunken; du hast auf unseren Straßen gelehrt.'
Then will you begin to say; We ate in presence of you and drank, and in the streets of us you taught;
27 Er aber wird euch erklären: 'Ich sage euch, ich weiß nicht, woher ihr seid. Hinweg von mir, all ihr Übeltäter!'
And he will speak; (saying *N(k)O*) to you; not I do know you from where you are, do depart from me all [you] (*k*) workers (*k*) of unrighteousness.
28 Alsdann wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein, wenn ihr Abraham und Isaak und Jakob und alle Propheten im Reiche Gottes, euch selber aber daraus ausgeschlossen seht.
There will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth when (you may behold *NK(o)*) Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, you however are being cast out.
29 Von Osten und von Westen, von Norden und von Süden kommen sie und werden im Reiche Gottes zu Tische sitzen.
And they will come from east and west and from north and south and will recline in the kingdom of God.
30 Seht, es gibt Letzte, die Erste sind, und Erste, die Letzte sein werden."
And behold there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.
31 Am selben Tage noch kamen Pharisäer, die zu ihm sagten: "Geh weg und zieh fort von hier, Herodes will dich töten."
In same the (hour *N(K)O*) came near certain Pharisees saying to Him; do go out and do proceed from here, for Herod desires You to kill.
32 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: "Geht und sagt diesem Fuchs: 'Siehe, ich treibe Dämonen aus und vollbringe Heilungen noch heute und morgen; am dritten Tag erst bin ich fertig.
And He said to them; Having gone do say to the fox that; Behold I cast out demons and cures (I complete *N(k)O*) today and tomorrow and on the third [day] I am perfected.
33 Doch heute, morgen und am nächsten Tag muß ich wandern; es geht ja doch nicht an, daß ein Prophet außerhalb Jerusalems umkomme.'
But it behooves Me today and tomorrow and to the [day] following to proceed, for not it is possible [for] a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.
34 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, das du die Propheten mordest und jene steinigst, die zu dir gesandt sind! Wie oft habe ich deine Kinder sammeln wollen wie eine Henne ihre Küchlein unter ihre Flügel; allein, ihr habt es nicht gewollt.
Jerusalem Jerusalem, You who [are] killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her, how often I have wanted to gather those children of you that way a hen [gathers] her own brood under the wings, and not you were willing?
35 Seht, euer Haus wird euch verbleiben. Jedoch ich sage euch: Ihr werdet mich nicht mehr sehen, bis die Zeit kommt, da ihr sprecht: 'Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn!'"
Behold is left to you the house of you (desolate. Amen *K*) I say now to you (that: *k*) certainly not shall you see Me until (when *k*) ([the time] will come *N(k)O*) when you may say; Blessed [is] the [One] coming in [the] name of [the] Lord.’
