3 Mose 4

1 Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:

And Yahweh spake, unto Moses, saying:

2 "Sage dies zu den Söhnen Israels, wenn sich jemand unvorsätzlich gegen irgendein Gebot des Herrn verginge in Dingen, die man nicht tun darf, und handelte doch gegen eines von ihnen:

Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, saying—When any person, shall sin by mistake, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall do any one of them, —

3 Sündigt der gesalbte Priester, wodurch Schuld auch auf das Volk kommt, dann bringe er für seine Sünde, die er getan, einen fehlerlosen jungen Stier dem Herrn zur Entsündigung dar!

If, the anointed priest, shall sin, so as to bring guilt upon the people, then shall he bring near for his sin which he hath committed a choice young bullock without defect, unto Yahweh as a sin-bearer.

4 Den Stier bringe er an die Pforte des Festgezeltes vor den Herrn und lege auf den Stierkopf die Hand und schlachte den Stier vor dem Herrn!

And he shall bring in the bullock unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, before Yahweh, —and shall lean his hand upon the head of the bullock, and shall slay the bullock before Yahweh.

5 Dann nehme der gesalbte Priester vom Farrenblut und bringe es ins Festgezelt!

And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, —and bring it into the tent of meeting;

6 Der Priester tauche seinen Finger in das Blut und sprenge von dem Blut vor den Herrn siebenmal gegen des Heiligtumes Vorhang hin!

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and sprinkle of the blood seven times, before Yahweh, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

7 Und der Priester streiche von dem Blut an die Hörner des Altares für würziges Rauchwerk vor dem Herrn im Festgezelt! Alles andere Farrenblut soll er an den Sockel des Brandopferaltares vor der Tür des Festgezeltes gießen!

Then shall the priest put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting, —and, all the [remainder of the] blood of the bullock, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

8 Er soll alles Fett vom Sündopferfarren abheben, das Fett der Eingeweidedecke und das Fett der Eingeweide,

And all the fat of the sin-bearing bullock, shall he heave up therefrom, —the fat that covereth over the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

9 die beiden Nieren und das Fett daran und das an den Lenden und den Leberlappen! Bei den Nieren soll er es abtrennen!

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them which is upon the loins, —and as for the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it:

10 Wie es abgehoben wird vom Dankopferrinde, so lasse es der Priester auf dem Brandopferaltar aufdampfen!

just as it is heaved up from the ox of the peace-offering, —and the priest shall make of them a perfume on the altar of ascending-sacrifice,

11 Die Haut des Farren, all sein Fleisch samt Kopf und Beinen, Eingeweiden und Mist,

But, as for the skin of the bullock and all its flesh with its head and with its legs, —and its inwards, and its dung,

12 den ganzen Farren schaffe man vor das Lager an einen reinen Ort auf den Aschenhaufen! Dann verbrenne man ihn auf Holzscheiten im Feuer! Auf dem Aschenhaufen werde er verbrannt!

he shall take forth the entire bullock—unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place unto the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, and shall burn it up on wood in the fire, —upon the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, shall it be burned up.

13 Irrt aber die ganze Versammlung Israels und ist es der Gemeinschaft nicht bewußt, daß sie etwas getan, was man nach des Herrn Geboten nicht tun darf, und werden sie so schuldig,

And, if the whole assembly of Israel, shall make a mistake, and a matter be hidden from the eyes of the convocation, —and so they do something, whereby they depart from any of the commandments of Yahweh as to things which should not be done, and become guilty;

14 und wird die Sünde erkannt, durch die sie gesündigt, dann bringe die Gemeinschaft einen jungen Stier als Sündopfer dar! Sie bringe ihn vor das Festgezelt!

and the sin shall become known, which they have committed therein, then shall the convocation bring near a choice young bullock as a sin-bearer, yea they shall bring it in. before the tent of meeting;

15 Die Ältesten der Gemeinschaft sollen auf den Farrenkopf die Hände vor dem Herrn legen! Dann schlachte man den Farren vor dem Herrn!

and the elders of the assembly shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh, —and shall slay the bullock, before Yahweh;

16 Dann bringe der gesalbte Priester vom Farrenblut ins Festgezelt!

and the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the bullock, —into the tent of meeting;

17 Der Priester benetze seinen Finger mit dem Blut und sprenge es an den Vorhang vor dem Herrn siebenmal!

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, upon the face of the veil;

18 Er soll von dem Blute etwas an die Hörner des Altares vor dem Herrn im Festgezelt tun, und alles andere Blut soll er an des Brandopferaltares Sockel vor dem Festgezelt gießen!

and, some of the blood, shall he put upon the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and, all the [remainder of the] blood, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting;

19 Auch soll er all sein Fett abheben; dann lasse er es auf dem Altare aufdampfen!

and, as for all the fat thereof, he shall heave up therefrom, —and make a perfume at the altar.

20 Er tue mit dem Farren, wie er mit dem Sündenopferstier getan hat! So soll er auch mit ihm tun! So entsühne sie der Priester und suche ihnen Vergebung zu erwirken!

And he shall do to the bullock, as he did to the [first] sin-bearing bullock, so shall he do with this, —and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 Den Farren schaffe man vors Lager und verbrenne ihn, wie man den vorigen Farren verbrannt hat! Das ist der Gemeinschaft Sündopfer.

And he shall take forth the bullock unto the outside of the camp, and burn it up, just as he burned up the first bullock, —the sin-bearer of the convocation, it is.

22 Sündigt ein Fürst und tut unvorsätzlich etwas, was man nach des Herrn, seines Gottes, Geboten nicht tun darf, und wird er schuldig,

When a prince, shall sin, —and shall do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh his God as to things which should not be done, by mistake and shall become aware of his guilt;

23 und wird ihm seine Sünde, durch die er gesündigt, bewußt, dann bringe er einen fehlerlosen Ziegenbock als ein Opfer dar!

or his sin wherein he hath sinned be made known unto him, then shall he bring in. as his oblation a he-goat a male without defect;

24 Er lege auf des Bockes Kopf die Hand und schlachte ihn am Ort, wo man vor dem Herrn das Brandopfer sonst schlachtet! Ein Sündopfer ist es.

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the goat, and shall slay it in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice before Yahweh, —a sin-bearer, it is.

25 Der Priester nehme vom Sündopferblut etwas mit dem Finger und tue es an des Brandopferaltares Hörner, und an des Brandopferaltares Sockel soll er sein übriges Blut gießen.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice; and, the [remainder of the] blood thereof, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice;

26 All sein Fett soll er auf dem Altar aufdampfen lassen wie das Fett des Dankopfers! So entsühne ihn der Priester von seiner Sünde und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken!

and with all the fat thereof, shall he make a perfume at the altar, as with the fat of the peace-offering, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him because of his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 Sündigt unvorsätzlich eine einzelne Seele vom Volk des Landes, indem sie etwas tut, was man nach den Geboten des Herrn nicht tun darf, und wird sie schuldig

And, if, any person, shall sin, by mistake from among the people of the land, —by his doing anything departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall become aware of his guilt;

28 und wird ihr ihre Sünde, die sie getan, bewußt, dann bringe sie eine fehlerlose Ziege dar als Opfer für ihre Sünde, die sie getan!

or his sin which he hath committed shall be made known unto, him, then shall he bring in, as his oblation, a kid of the goats a female, without defect, for his sin which he hath committed;

29 Sie lege auf den Kopf des Sündopfers ihre Hand und schlachte an dem Ort des Brandopfers das Sündopfer!

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay the sin-bearer in the place of the ascending-sacrifice.

30 Der Priester nehme von seinem Blute etwas mit dem Finger und tue es an des Brandopferaltares Hörner, und an den Sockel des Altares soll er sein Blut ausgießen!

Then shall the priest take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

31 All sein Fett soll er wegnehmen, wie man es vom Dankopfer wegnimmt! Der Priester lasse es auf dem Altar aufdampfen zum süßen Duft für den Herrn! So entsühne ihn der Priester und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erlangen!

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat from off the peace-offering was removed, and the priest shall make a perfume at the altar, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32 Bringt er ein Lamm als Opfergabe für seine Sünde dar, so bringe er ein weibliches, fehlerloses Tier!

And, if a lamb, he bring in. as his oblation for a sin-bearer, a female without defect, shall he bring in;

33 Er lege auf des Sündopfers Kopf die Hand und schlachte das Sündopfer an dem Ort, wo man das Brandopfer zu schlachten pflegt!

and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay it as a sin-bearer, in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice.

34 Der Priester nehme von des Sündopfers Blut etwas mit dem Finger und tue es an des Brandopferaltares Hörner, und an den Sockel des Altares soll er sein übriges Blut gießen!

Then shall the priest take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

35 All sein Fett soll er wegnehmen, wie das Fett des Lammes beim Dankopfer weggenommen wird! Der Priester lasse es aufdampfen auf dem Altar, der sonst für des Herren Mahl bestimmt ist! So entsühne ihn der Priester wegen der vollbrachten Sünde und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken!"

and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat of the lamb is removed, from the peace-offering, and the priest shall make a perfume therewith at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him on account of his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
