Jesaja 56
1 So spricht der Herr:"Befolgt, was recht ist! Und tut, was vorgeschrieben! Denn meine Hilfe ist dem Anbruch nah, mein Heil will sich jetzt offenbaren.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Observe ye justice, And execute righteousness, —For near, is My salvation, to come in, and My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Heil sei dem Menschen, der so handelt, dem Menschenkind, das dabei bleibt, das seinen Sabbat hält, ihn nicht entweiht, und seine Hand bewahrt vor Übeltat!"
How happy the frail man, who doeth this! Yea the son of the earth-born who firmly graspeth it! Keeping the sabbath lest he profane it, and Keeping his own hand from doing any wrong.
3 Der Fremdling sage nicht, der sich dem Herrn anschließen will: "Der Herr schließt mich aus seinem Volke sicher aus"! Auch sage der Entmannte nicht: "Ich bin ein dürrer Baum".
And let not the son of the foreigner, who hath joined himself unto Yahweh, speak, saying, Yahweh, will separate, me from his people, Neither let the eunuch, say, Lo! I, am a tree dried up!
4 Denn also spricht der Herr:"Entmannten, die meine Sabbattage feiern und wählen, was mir wohlgefällt, und fest an meinem Bunde halten,
For thus, saith Yahweh—Of the eunuchs, Who shall keep my sabbaths, And choose what I delight in, —And lay firm hold on my covenant,
5 auch diesen geb ich einen Platz in meinem Haus, in meinen Mauern und einen Namen trefflicher als Söhne und als Töchter. Ich gebe ihnen einen ewigen Namen, der nimmermehr erlischt.
That I will give unto them—In my house, And within my walls, A sign and a name, better than sons and daughters, —A name age-abiding, will I give him, which shall not be cut off.
6 Die Fremden, die sich an den Herrn anschließen, um ihm zu dienen und um des Herren Namen Liebe zu erweisen und Knechte ihm zu sein, falls sie den Sabbat halten, ihn nicht entweihen und fest an meinem Bunde hängen,
And, as for the sons of the foreigner—Who have joined themselves unto Yahweh To wait upon him, and To love the name of Yahweh, To become his for servants, —Every one who keepeth the sabbath, lest he profane it. And who, layeth firm hold on my covenant,
7 laß ich betreten meinen heiligen Berg und heiße sie in meinem Bethaus hochwillkommen. Ich nehme ihre Brand- und Schlachtopfer auf meinem Altar wohlgefällig an. Mein Haus soll 'aller Nationen Bethaus' heißen."
Surely I will bring them into my holy mountain And make them joyful in my house of prayer, Their ascending-offerings and their sacrifices, being accepted upon mine altar, —For, my house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the peoples!
8 Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn, der Israel aus der Zerstreuung sammelt: "Zu ihnen, die ich schon gesammelt, will ich noch andere hinzuversammeln."
Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, Who is gathering the outcasts of Israel: —Yet others, will I gather unto him Besides his own gathered ones.
9 Ihr wilden Tiere insgesamt! Jetzt kommt zum Fraß herbei! Ihr Tiere alle aus dem Wald!
All ye beasts of the field! come ye to devour, All ye beasts in the forest.
10 All seine Wächter sind ja blind; sie passen nimmer auf, sind alle stumme Hunde, die nicht bellen mögen. Sie träumen, liegen ausgestreckt und schlafen gern.
His watchmen, are blind None of them, know, All of them, are dumb dogs, they cannot bark, —Dreaming, sleeping, loving to slumber.
11 Als heißhungrige Hunde sind sie nicht zu sättigen; als Hirten wissen sie von keiner Achtsamkeit. Sie alle sehen nur auf ihren Nutzen, auf seinen Vorteil jeder bis zum letzten Mann:
And, the dogs, are greedy they know not to be satisfied. Yea, they, are shepherds who know not to discern, —All of them unto their own way, have turned, Every man to his unjust gain, on every hand:
12 "Herbei! Ich hole Wein. Wir wollen Bier zusammen zechen! Und morgen soll's wie heute gehn, großartig über alle Maßen!"
Come ye! I will fetch wine Let us fill ourselves with strong drink, —And like this day, shall, to-morrow be—Great beyond measure!
