Jesaja 12

1 An jenem Tage wirst du sprechen: "Ich danke Dir, o Herr, Du hast auf mich gezürnt; Dein Zorn hat sich gelegt, und nun bist Du mein Tröster.

And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thy anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

2 Fürwahr, Du bist mein hilfereicher Gott, auf den ich furchtlos mich verlasse. Dem Herren gelten meine Ruhmeslieder, ward er doch mir zum Heile."

Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation.

3 Schöpft jubelnd aus des Heilborns Wasser

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

4 und ruft dabei an jenem Tage: "Dem Herrn sei Dank!" Mit Stolz nennt seinen Namen! Tut Völkern seine Taten kund! Verkündet, daß sein Name hoch erhaben!

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 Lobsingt dem Herrn! Denn große Dinge hat er ausgeführt! Dies werde aller Welt bekannt!

Sing to the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth.

6 Frohlocke, juble, du Bewohnerschaft von Sion! Denn groß in deiner Mitte ist der Heilige Israels.

Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great [is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
