2 Mose 31

1 Der Herr sprach zu Moses:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

2 "Sieh! Ich berufe Besalel, des Uri Sohn, den Enkel Hurs, vom Stamme Juda.

See, I have called by name, Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur of the tribe of Judah;

3 Ich erfülle ihn mit Gottesgeist, mit Weisheit, Einsicht und Wissen um jeglich Werk,

and have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and in understanding, and in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship;

4 um Pläne zu ersinnen und sie in Gold, Silber und Kupfer auszuführen,

to devise skilful designs, to work in gold and in silver, and in bronze;

5 im Schnitt von Steinen zu Füllungen und im Schnitt von Hölzern, in vielgestaltiger Ausführung.

and in the cutting of stones for setting, and in the carving of wood, —to work in all manner of workmanship,

6 Oholiab, den Sohn Achisamaks, vom Danstamme gebe ich ihm bei und verleihe Weisheit allen anderen Künstlern, daß sie alles machen, was ich dir befehle.

I myself, therefore, lo! I have given with him Oholiab, son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan, and in the heart of every one that is wise-hearted, have I put wisdom, —so shall they make all that I have commanded thee—

7 Das Festgezelt und die Lade des Zeugnisses, die Deckplatte darüber und die anderen Geräte im Zelt,

the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony; and the propitiatory which is thereupon, and all the utensils of the tent;

8 den Tisch und seine Geräte, den reinen Leuchter mit all seinen Geräten, den Rauchaltar,

and the table, and its utensils, and the pure lampstand, and all its utensils, —and the incense altar;

9 den Altar für Brandopfer und alle seine Geräte, das Becken mit seinem Gestell,

and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, and the laver, and its stand;

10 die feineren Schutzdecken und die Gewänder für das Heiligtum, für Aaron, den Priester, und die Gewänder seiner Söhne für den priesterlichen Dienst,

and the cloths of variegated stuff, and the holy garments, for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, for ministering as priests;

11 das Salböl und das würzige Rauchwerk für das Heiligtum. Ganz wie ich es dir befehle, sollen sie es machen!"

and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the holy place, according to all which I have commanded thee, shall they do.

12 Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses saying—

13 "Sag dies den Söhnen Israels: 'Beobachtet doch meine Ruhetage! Ein Zeichen zwischen mir und euch ist ein solcher in euren Geschlechtern, auf daß man wisse, daß ich, der Herr, euch heilige.

Thou thyself, therefore, speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Surely, my sabbaths, shall ye keep, for, a sign it is betwixt me and you to your generations, that ye may know that I Yahweh do hallow you.

14 Haltet auch den Sabbat! Er sei euch ein heilig Ding! Wer ihn entweiht, sterbe des Todes! Wer an ihm Arbeit tut, solch Wesen werde getilgt aus seinem Volke!

Therefore shall ye keep the sabbath, for holy, it is unto you, he that profaneth it shall be surely put to death; verily whosoever doeth therein any work that soul shall be cut off from the midst of its people:

15 Sechs Tage werde Arbeit getan! Am siebten Tage aber ist der rechte Ruhetag, ein heilig Ding dem Herrn! Wer am Sabbat Arbeit tut, sei des Todes!'

Six days, shall work be done, but on the seventh day, is a holy sabbath-keeping of rest unto Yahweh, —whosoever doeth work on the sabbath day, shall be, surely put to death.

16 So sollen die Söhne Israels den Sabbat halten! Zum ewigen Bunde sollen sie den Sabbat in ihren Geschlechtern machen!

Therefore shall the sons of Israel keep the sabbath, —by making it a Day of Rest to your generations, as an age-abiding covenant:

17 Er sei ein Zeichen zwischen mir und den Söhnen Israels für immer! Denn in sechs Tagen hat der Herr den Himmel und die Erde gemacht. Am siebten Tage aber hat er aufatmend geruht."

between me and the sons of Israel, a sign it is unto times age-abiding, —for in six days, did Yahweh make the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day, he rested, and was refreshed.

18 Und er übergab Moses, nachdem er mit ihm auf dem Berg Sinai zu Ende geredet, die beiden Tafeln des Zeugnisses, steinerne Tafeln, vom Finger Gottes beschrieben.

Then gave he unto Moses, as he finished speaking with him in Mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, —tables of stone, written with the finger of God,
