Job 38
1 Und Jehova antwortete Hiob aus dem Sturme und sprach:
And he answered Yahweh Job (from - *QK) (the tempest *Qk) and he said.
2 Wer ist es, der den Rat verdunkelt mit Worten ohne Erkenntnis?
Who? this - [is] making dark counsel by words not knowledge.
3 Gürte doch wie ein Mann deine Lenden; so will ich dich fragen, und du belehre mich!
Gird up please like a man loins your and I will ask you and make known to me.
4 Wo warst du, als ich die Erde gründete? Tue es kund, wenn du Einsicht besitzest!
Where? were you when founded I [the] earth tell if you know understanding.
5 Wer hat ihre Maße bestimmt, wenn du es weißt? Oder wer hat über sie die Meßschnur gezogen?
Who? did he appoint measurements its for you know or who? did he stretch out on it a measuring-line.
6 In was wurden ihre Grundfesten eingesenkt?
On what? bases its were they sunk or who? did he lay [the] stone of corner its.
7 Oder wer hat ihren Eckstein gelegt, als die Morgensterne miteinander jubelten und alle Söhne Gottes jauchzten?
When sang together [the] stars of morning and they shouted all [the] sons of God.
8 Und wer hat das Meer mit Toren verschlossen, als es ausbrach, hervorkam aus dem Mutterschoße,
And he shut off with doors [the] sea when burst forth it from [the] womb it came forth.
9 als ich Gewölk zu seinem Gewande und Wolkendunkel zu seiner Windel machte,
When made I cloud[s] clothing its and thick darkness swaddling-band its.
10 und ich ihm meine Grenze bestimmte und Riegel und Tore setzte,
And I broke on it boundary my and I set in place a bar and doors.
11 und sprach: Bis hierher sollst du kommen und nicht weiter, und hier sei eine Schranke gesetzt dem Trotze deiner Wellen? -
And I said to here you will come and not you will add and here someone will fix in [the] pride of waves your.
12 Hast du, seitdem du lebst, einem Morgen geboten? Hast du die Morgenröte ihre Stätte wissen lassen,
¿ From days your have you commanded morning (you caused to know the dawn *QK) place its.
13 daß sie erfasse die Säume der Erde, und die Gesetzlosen von ihr verscheucht werden?
To take hold on [the] corners of the earth so they may be shaken wicked [people] from it.
14 Sie verwandelt sich wie Siegelton, und alles steht da wie in einem Gewande;
It is changed like [the] clay of a seal so they may stand forth like clothing.
15 und den Gesetzlosen wird ihr Licht entzogen, und der erhobene Arm wird zerbrochen.
So it may be withheld from wicked [people] light their and an arm uplifted it is broken.
16 Bist du gekommen bis zu den Quellen des Meeres, und hast du die Gründe der Tiefe durchwandelt?
¿ Have you gone to [the] springs of [the] sea and in [the] depth of [the] deep have you walked about?
17 Wurden dir die Pforten des Todes enthüllt, und sahest du die Pforten des Todesschattens?
¿ Have they been revealed to you [the] gates of death and [the] gates of deep darkness have you seen?
18 Hast du Einsicht genommen in die Breiten der Erde? Sage an, wenn du es alles weißt!
Have you shown yourself attentive? to [the] broad spaces of [the] earth tell if you know all of it.
19 Welches ist der Weg zur Wohnung des Lichtes, und die Finsternis, wo ist ihre Stätte?
Where? this [is] the way [where] it dwells light and darkness where? this [is] place its.
20 Daß du sie hinbrächtest zu ihrer Grenze, und daß du der Pfade zu ihrem Hause kundig wärest.
That you will take it to territory its and that you will discern [the] paths of house its.
21 Du weißt es ja; denn damals wurdest du geboren, und die Zahl deiner Tage ist groß!
You know for then you were born and [the] number of days your [is] many.
22 Bist du zu den Vorräten des Schnees gekommen, und hast du gesehen die Vorräte des Hagels,
¿ Have you gone into [the] storehouses of snow and [the] storehouses of hail have you seen?
23 die ich aufgespart habe für die Zeit der Bedrängnis, für den Tag des Kampfes und der Schlacht?
Which I have kept back for [the] time of distress for [the] day of battle and warfare.
24 Welches ist der Weg, auf dem das Licht sich verteilt, der Ostwind sich verbreitet über die Erde?
Where? this [is] the way [where] it is divided light [where] it scatters [the] east wind over [the] earth.
25 Wer teilt der Regenflut Kanäle ab und einen Weg dem Donnerstrahle,
Who? does he divide for the flood a channel and a path for [the] storm of thunder claps.
26 um regnen zu lassen auf ein Land ohne Menschen, auf die Wüste, in welcher kein Mensch ist,
To send rain on a land not anyone a wilderness [which] not anyone [is] in it.
27 um zu sättigen die Öde und Verödung, und um hervorsprießen zu lassen die Triebe des Grases?
To satisfy devastation and desolation and to cause to sprout a going forth of vegetation.
28 Hat der Regen einen Vater, oder wer zeugt die Tropfen des Taues?
¿ [is] there For the rain a father or who? does he father [the] drops of dew.
29 Aus wessen Schoße kommt das Eis hervor, und des Himmels Reif, wer gebiert ihn?
From [the] womb of whom? does it come forth the ice and [the] frost of heaven who? does he give birth to it.
30 Wie das Gestein verdichten sich die Wasser, und die Fläche der Tiefe schließt sich zusammen.
Like stone waters they become hard and [the] surface of [the] deep they freeze.
31 Kannst du knüpfen das Gebinde des Siebengestirns, oder lösen die Fesseln des Orion?
¿ Will you bind on [the] bonds of Pleiades or? [the] chains of Orion will you loosen.
32 Kannst du die Bilder des Tierkreises hervortreten lassen zu ihrer Zeit, und den großen Bären leiten samt seinen Kindern?
¿ Will you lead out [the] constellations at appropriate time its and [the] Bear with young ones its will you guide? them.
33 Kennst du die Gesetze des Himmels, oder bestimmst du seine Herrschaft über die Erde?
¿ Do you know [the] statutes of [the] heavens or? do you appoint rule its over the earth.
34 Kannst du deine Stimme zum Gewölk erheben, daß eine Menge Wassers dich bedecke?
¿ Will you lift up to the cloud[s] voice your and an abundance of water will you cover? yourself.
35 Kannst du Blitze entsenden, daß sie hinfahren, daß sie zu dir sagen: Hier sind wir? -
¿ Will you send forth lightning so they may go and they may say to you here [are] we.
36 Wer hat Weisheit in die Nieren gelegt, oder wer hat dem Geiste Verstand gegeben?
Who? has he put in the inner parts wisdom or who? has he given to the heart understanding.
37 Wer zählt die Wolken mit Weisheit, und des Himmels Schläuche, wer gießt sie aus,
Who? will he count [the] clouds by wisdom and [the] waterskins of heaven who? will he make to lie down.
38 wenn der Staub zu dichtem Gusse zusammenfließt und die Schollen aneinander kleben?
When flows [the] dust into lump and [the] clods they are joined together.
39 Erjagst du der Löwin den Raub, und stillst du die Gier der jungen Löwen,
¿ Will you hunt for a lion prey and [the] life of young lions will you fill?
40 wenn sie in den Höhlen kauern, im Dickicht auf der Lauer sitzen?
If they will crouch in dens they will remain in thicket for lying-in-wait.
41 Wer bereitet dem Raben seine Speise, wenn seine Jungen zu Gott schreien, umherirren ohne Nahrung?
Who? does he prepare for the raven food-supply its if (young ones its *QK) to God they will cry for help they will wander about for not food.
