Hesekiel 21
1 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 Menschensohn, richte dein Angesicht gegen Jerusalem und rede über die Heiligtümer, und weissage über das Land Israel;
and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face to Jerusalem, and droppe thou to the seyntuaries, and profesie thou ayens the erthe of Israel.
3 und sprich zu dem Lande Israel: So spricht Jehova: Siehe, ich will an dich, und will mein Schwert aus seiner Scheide ziehen; und ich will aus dir ausrotten den Gerechten und den Gesetzlosen!
And thou schalt seie to the lond of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to thee, and Y schal caste my swerd out of his schethe, and Y schal sle in thee a iust man and a wickid man.
4 Darum, weil ich aus dir den Gerechten und den Gesetzlosen ausrotten will, darum soll mein Schwert aus seiner Scheide fahren wider alles Fleisch vom Süden bis zum Norden.
Forsothe for that that Y haue slayn in thee a iust man and a wickid man, therfor my swerd schal go out of his schethe to ech man, fro the south til to the north;
5 Und alles Fleisch wird wissen, daß ich, Jehova, mein Schwert aus seiner Scheide gezogen habe; es soll nicht wieder zurückkehren.
that ech man wite, that Y the Lord haue drawe out my swerd fro his schethe, that schal not be clepid ayen.
6 Und du, Menschensohn, seufze, daß die Hüften brechen, und mit bitterem Schmerze seufze vor ihren Augen!
And thou, sone of man, weile in sorewe of leendis, and in bitternessis thou schalt weile bifore hem.
7 Und es soll geschehen, wenn sie zu dir sprechen: Warum seufzest du? so sollst du sprechen: Wegen des kommenden Gerüchtes; und jedes Herz wird zerschmelzen, und alle Hände werden erschlaffen, und jeder Geist wird verzagen, und alle Knie werden zerfließen wie Wasser; siehe, es kommt und wird geschehen, spricht der Herr, Jehova.
And whanne thei schulen seie to thee, Whi weilist thou? thou schalt seie, For hering, for it cometh; and ech herte shal faile, and alle hondis schulen be aclumsid, and ech spirit schal be sike, and watris schulen flete doun bi alle knees; lo! it cometh, and it shal be don, seith the Lord God.
8 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
9 Menschensohn, weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr: Sprich: Ein Schwert, ein Schwert, geschärft und auch geschliffen!
and he seide, Sone of man, profesie thou; and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Speke thou, The swerd, the swerd is maad scharp, and is maad briyt;
10 Damit es eine Schlachtung anrichte, ist es geschärft; damit es blitze, ist es geschliffen. Oder sollen wir uns freuen und sagen: Das Zepter meines Sohnes verachtet alles Holz?
it is maad scharp to sle sacrifices; it is maad briyt, that it schyne. Thou that mouest the ceptre of my sone, hast kit doun ech tree.
11 Aber man hat es zu schleifen gegeben, um es in der Hand zu führen. Das Schwert, geschärft ist es und geschliffen, um es in die Hand des Würgers zu geben.
And Y yaf it to be forbischid, that it be holdun with hond; this swerd is maad scharp, and this is maad briyt, that it be in the hond of the sleere.
12 Schreie und heule, Menschensohn! Denn es ist gegen mein Volk, es ist gegen alle Fürsten Israels: Samt meinem Volke sind sie dem Schwerte verfallen; darum schlage dich auf die Lenden.
Sone of man, crie thou, and yelle, for this swerd is maad in my puple, this in alle the duykis of Israel; thei that fledden ben youun to swerd with my puple. Therfor smite thou on thin hipe, for it is preuyd;
13 Denn die Probe ist gemacht; und was? Wenn sogar das verachtende Zepter nicht mehr sein wird? spricht der Herr, Jehova. -
and this whanne it hath distried the ceptre, and it schal not be, seith the Lord God.
14 Und du, Menschensohn, weissage und schlage die Hände zusammen; denn das Schwert, das Schwert der Erschlagenen, wird sich ins Dreifache vervielfältigen; es ist das Schwert des erschlagenen Großen, welches sie umkreist.
Therfor, sone of man, profesie thou, and smyte thou hond to hond, and the swerd be doublid, and the swerd of sleeris be treblid; this is the swerd of greet sleyng, that schal make hem astonyed,
15 Damit das Herz zerfließe und viele hinstürzen, habe ich das schlachtende Schwert wider alle ihre Tore gerichtet. Wehe! Zum Blitzen ist es gemacht, zum Schlachten geschärft.
and to faile in herte, and multiplieth fallingis. In alle the yatis of hem Y yaf disturbling of a swerd, scharp and maad briyt to schyne, gird to sleynge.
16 Nimm dich zusammen nach rechts, richte dich nach links, wohin deine Schneide bestimmt ist!
Be thou maad scharp, go thou to the riyt side, ether to the left side, whidur euer the desir of thi face is.
17 Und auch ich will meine Hände zusammenschlagen und meinen Grimm stillen. Ich, Jehova, habe geredet.
Certis and Y schal smyte with hond to hond, and Y schal fille myn indignacioun; Y the Lord spak.
18 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
19 Und du, Menschensohn, machte dir zwei Wege, auf welchen das Schwert des Königs von Babel kommen soll: Von einem Lande sollen sie beide ausgehen; und zeichne einen Wegweiser, am Anfang des Weges nach der Stadt zeichne ihn.
and he seide, And thou, sone of man, sette to thee twei weies, that the swerd of the king of Babiloyne come; bothe schulen go out of o lond, and bi the hond he schal take coniecting; he schal coniecte in the heed of the weie of the citee,
20 Du sollst einen Weg machen, damit das Schwert nach Rabbath der Kinder Ammon komme, und nach Juda in das befestigte Jerusalem.
settinge a weye, that the swerd come to Rabath of the sones of Amon, and to Juda in to Jerusalem moost strong.
21 Denn der König von Babel bleibt am Kreuzwege stehen, am Anfang der beiden Wege, um sich wahrsagen zu lassen; er schüttelt die Pfeile, befragt die Teraphim, beschaut die Leber.
For the king of Babiloyne stood in the meeting of twey weies, in the heed of twei weies, and souyte dyuynyng, and medlide arowis; he axide idols, and took councel at entrails.
22 In seine Rechte fällt die Wahrsagung “Jerusalem”, daß er Sturmböcke aufstelle, den Mund auftue mit Geschrei, die Stimme erhebe mit Feldgeschrei, Sturmböcke gegen die Tore aufstelle, Wälle aufschütte und Belagerungstürme baue. -

23 Und es wird ihnen wie ein falsche Wahrsagung in ihren Augen sein; Eide um Eide haben sie; er aber wird die Ungerechtigkeit in Erinnerung bringen, auf daß sie ergriffen werden.
And he shal be as counceling in veyn goddis answer bifor the iyen of hem, and seruynge the reste of sabatis; but he schal haue mynde on wickidnesse, to take.
24 Darum, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Weil ihr eure Ungerechtigkeit in Erinnerung bringet, indem eure Übertretungen offenbar werden, so daß eure Sünden in allen euren Handlungen zum Vorschein kommen, weil ihr in Erinnerung kommet, werdet ihr von der Hand ergriffen werden.
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye hadden mynde on youre wickidnesse, and schewiden youre trespassyngis, and youre synnes apperiden in alle youre thouytis, forsothe for that that ye hadden mynde, ye schulen be takun bi hond.
25 Und du, Unheiliger, Gesetzloser, Fürst Israels, dessen Tag gekommen ist zur Zeit der Ungerechtigkeit des Endes!
But thou, cursid wickid duyk of Israel, whos dai bifor determyned is comun in the tyme of wickidnesse,
26 So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Hinweg mit dem Kopfbund und fort mit der Krone! Dies wird nicht mehr sein. Das Niedrige werde erhöht und das Hohe erniedrigt!
the Lord God seith these thingis, Do awei the mitre, take awei the coroun; whether it is not this that reiside the meke man, and made low the hiy man?
27 Umgestürzt, umgestürzt, umgestürzt will ich sie machen; auch dies wird nicht mehr sein, bis der kommt, welchem das Recht gehört: Dem werde ich's geben.
Wickidnesse, wickidnesse, wickidnesse Y schal putte it; and this schal not be doon til he come, whos the doom is, and Y schal bitake to hym.
28 Und du, Menschensohn, weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova, über die Kinder Ammon und über ihren Hohn; und sprich: Ein Schwert, ein Schwert, zur Schlachtung gezückt, geschliffen, damit es fresse, damit es blitze
And thou, sone of man, profesie, and seie, The Lord God seith these thingis to the sones of Amon, and to the schenschipe of hem; and thou schalt seie, A! thou swerd, A! thou swerd, drawun out to sle, maad briyte, that thou sle and schyne,
29 (während man dir Eitles schaut, während man dir Lügen wahrsagt), um dich zu den Hälsen der erschlagenen Gesetzlosen zu legen, deren Tag gekommen ist zur Zeit der Ungerechtigkeit des Endes!
whanne veyn thingis weren seien to thee, and leesingis weren dyuynyd, that thou schuldist be youun on the neckis of wickid men woundid, the dai of whiche bifore determyned schal come in the tyme of wickidnesse, turne thou ayen in to thi schethe,
30 Stecke es wieder in seine Scheide! An dem Orte, wo du geschaffen bist, in dem Lande deines Ursprungs, werde ich dich richten.
in to the place in which thou were maad. Y schal deme thee in the lond of thi birthe,
31 Und ich werde meinen Zorn über dich ausgießen, das Feuer meines Grimmes wider dich anfachen; und ich werde dich in die Hand roher Menschen geben, welche Verderben schmieden.
and Y schal schede out myn indignacioun on thee; in the fier of my strong veniaunce Y schal blowe in thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of vnwise men, and makinge deth.
32 Du wirst dem Feuer zum Fraße werden, dein Blut wird inmitten des Landes sein; deiner wird nicht mehr gedacht werden. Denn ich, Jehova, habe geredet.
Thou schalt be mete to fier, thi blood schal be in the middis of erthe; thou schalt be youun to foryetyng, for Y the Lord spak.
