1 Samuel 29
1 Und die Philister versammelten alle ihre Heere nach Aphek; und Israel war an der Quelle gelagert, die bei Jisreel ist.
Therfor alle the cumpenyes of Filisteis weren gaderid in Aphec, but also Israel settide tentis aboue the welle that was in Jezrael.
2 Und die Fürsten der Philister zogen vorüber nach Hunderten und nach Tausenden, und David und seine Männer zogen zuletzt mit Achis vorüber.
And sotheli the princis of Filisteis yeden in cumpenyes of an hundrid, and in thousyndis; forsothe Dauid and hise men weren in the laste cumpenye with Achis.
3 Da sprachen die Fürsten der Philister: Was sollen diese Hebräer? Und Achis sprach zu den Fürsten der Philister: Ist das nicht David, der Knecht Sauls, des Königs von Israel, der schon seit Jahr und Tag bei mir gewesen ist? Und ich habe gar nichts an ihm gefunden von dem Tage an, da er abgefallen ist, bis auf diesen Tag.
And the princes of Filisteis seiden to Achis, What wolen these Ebreis to hem silf? And Achis seide to the princes of Filisteis, Whether ye knowen not Dauid, that was the seruaunt of Saul, kyng of Israel? and he was with me in many daies, `ether yeeris, and Y foond not in hym ony thing, fro the dai, in which he fledde to me `til to this dai.
4 Aber die Fürsten der Philister wurden zornig über ihn, und die Fürsten der Philister sprachen zu ihm: Schicke den Mann zurück, daß er an seinen Ort zurückkehre, wohin du ihn bestellt hast, und daß er nicht mit uns in den Streit hinabziehe und uns nicht zum Widersacher werde im Streite; denn womit könnte der sich angenehm machen bei seinem Herrn? Nicht mit den Köpfen dieser Männer?
Sotheli the princes of Filisteis weren wrooth ayens hym, and seiden to hym, The man turne ayen, and sitte in his place, in which thou hast ordened hym, and come he not down with vs in to batel, lest he be maad aduersarie to vs, whanne we han bigunne to fiyte; for hou mai he plese his lord in other maner, no but in oure heedis?
5 Ist das nicht David, von dem sie in den Reigen sangen und sprachen: “Saul hat seine Tausende erschlagen, und David seine Zehntausende”?
Whether this is not Dauid, to whom thei sungen in daunsis, and seiden, Saul smoot in thousyndis, and Dauid smoot in hise ten thousyndis?
6 Und Achis rief David und sprach zu ihm: So wahr Jehova lebt, du bist redlich; und wohlgefällig in meinen Augen ist dein Ausgang und dein Eingang bei mir im Heerlager; denn ich habe nichts Böses an dir gefunden von dem Tage an, da du zu mir gekommen bist, bis auf diesen Tag; aber in den Augen der Fürsten bist du nicht wohlgefällig.
Therfor Achis clepide Dauid, and seide to hym, The Lord lyueth; for thou art riytful, and good in my siyt, and thi goyng out and `thin entryng is with me in castels, and Y `foond not in thee ony thing of yuel, fro the day in which thou camest to me til to this dai; but thou plesist not the princis.
7 Und nun kehre zurück und gehe hin in Frieden, damit du nichts Übles tuest in den Augen der Fürsten der Philister.
Therfor turne thou ayen, and go in pees, and offende thou not the iyen of princis of Filisteis.
8 Und David sprach zu Achis: Aber was habe ich getan, und was hast du an diesem Knechte gefunden von dem Tage an, da ich vor dir gewesen bin bis auf diesen Tag, daß ich nicht kommen und wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Königs, streiten soll?
And Dauid seide to Achis, Forsothe what `dide Y, and what hast thou founde in me thi seruaunt, fro the dai in which Y was in thi siyt til in to this dai, that Y come not, and fiyte ayens the enemyes of my lord the kyng?
9 Und Achis antwortete und sprach zu David: Ich weiß es, denn du bist wohlgefällig in meinen Augen wie ein Engel Gottes; doch die Fürsten der Philister haben gesagt: Er soll nicht mit uns in den Streit hinaufziehen!
Forsothe Achis answeride, and spak to Dauid, Y woot that thou art good, and as the aungel of God in my iyen; but the princes of Filisteis seyden, He schal not stie with vs in to batel.
10 So mache dich nun des Morgens früh auf, du und die Knechte deines Herrn, die mit dir gekommen sind; und machet euch des Morgens früh auf! Sobald es euch hell wird, ziehet fort.
Therfor rise thou eerli, thou, and thi seruauntis that camen with thee; and whanne ye han ryse bi nyyt, and it bigynneth to be cleer, go ye.
11 Und David machte sich früh auf, er und seine Männer, daß sie am Morgen fortzögen, um in das Land der Philister zurückzukehren. Die Philister aber zogen nach Jisreel hinauf.
Therfor Dauid roos bi nyyt, he and hise men, that thei schulden go forth eerli, and turne ayen to the lond of Fylisteis; sotheli Filisteis stieden in to Jezrael.
