Sacharja 12

1 Ausspruch des Wortes Jehovas über Israel. Es spricht Jehova, der den Himmel ausspannt und die Erde gründet, und des Menschen Geist in seinem Innern bildet:

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel; saith the Lord, that stretches out the sky, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.

2 Siehe, ich mache Jerusalem zu einer Taumelschale für alle Völker ringsum; und auch über Juda wird es [näml. das was Jerusalem treffen wird] kommen bei der Belagerung von Jerusalem.

Behold, I [will] make Jerusalem as trembling door-posts to all the nations round about, and in Judea there shall be a siege against Jerusalem.

3 Und es wird geschehen an jenem Tage, da werde ich Jerusalem zu einem Laststein machen für alle Völker: alle, die ihn aufladen wollen, werden sich gewißlich daran verwunden. Und alle Nationen der Erde werden sich wider dasselbe versammeln.

And it shall come to pass in that day [that] I will make Jerusalem a trodden stone to all the nations: every one that tramples on it shall utterly mock at [it], and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

4 An jenem Tage, spricht Jehova, werde ich alle Rosse mit Scheuwerden und ihre Reiter mit Wahnsinn schlagen; und über das Haus Juda werde ich meine Augen offen halten, und alle Rosse der Völker mit Blindheit schlagen.

In that day, saith the Lord Almighty, I will smite every horse with amazement, and his rider with madness: but I will open mine eyes upon the house of Juda, and I will smite all the horses of the nations with blindness.

5 Und die Fürsten [S. die Anm. zu Kap. 9,7] von Juda werden in ihrem Herzen sprechen: Eine Stärke sind mir die Bewohner von Jerusalem in Jehova der Heerscharen, ihrem Gott. -

And the captains of thousands of Juda shall say in their hearts, We shall find for ourselves the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the Lord Almighty their God.

6 An jenem Tage werde ich die Fürsten von Juda machen gleich einem Feuerbecken unter Holzstücken und gleich einer Feuerfackel unter Garben; und sie werden zur Rechten und zur Linken alle Völker ringsum verzehren. Und fortan wird Jerusalem [d. h. die Einwohnerschaft von Jerusalem] an seiner Stätte wohnen in Jerusalem.

In that day I will make the captains of thousands of Juda as a firebrand among wood, and as a torch of fire in stubble; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the nations round about: and Jerusalem shall dwell again by herself, [even] in Jerusalem.

7 Und Jehova wird die Zelte Judas zuerst retten, auf daß die Pracht [O. die Herrlichkeit] des Hauses Davids und die Pracht der Bewohner von Jerusalem sich nicht über Juda erhebe. -

And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda as at the beginning, that the boast of the house of David, and the pride of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not magnify themselves against Juda.

8 An jenem Tage wird Jehova die Bewohner von Jerusalem beschirmen; und der Strauchelnde unter ihnen wird an jenem Tage wie David sein, und das Haus Davids wie Gott, wie der Engel Jehovas vor ihnen her.

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the weak one among them in that day shall be as David, and the house of David as the house of God, as the angel of the Lord before them.

9 Und es wird geschehen an jenem Tage, da werde ich alle Nationen zu vertilgen suchen, die wider Jerusalem heranziehen.

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10 Und ich werde über das Haus Davids und über die Bewohner von Jerusalem den Geist der Gnade und des Flehens ausgießen; und sie werden auf mich blicken, den sie durchbohrt haben, und werden über ihn wehklagen gleich der Wehklage über den Eingeborenen, und bitterlich über ihn leidtragen, wie man bitterlich über den Erstgeborenen leidträgt.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and compassion: and they shall look upon me, because they have mocked [me], and they shall make lamentation for him, as for a beloved [friend], and they shall grieve intensely, as for a firstborn [son].

11 An jenem Tage wird die Wehklage in Jerusalem groß sein wie die Wehklage von Hadad-Rimmon im Tale Megiddo [Vergl. 2. Chron. 35,22 usw.]

In that day the lamentation in Jerusalem shall be very great, as the mourning for the pomegranate grove cut down in the plain.

12 Und wehklagen wird das Land, jedes Geschlecht besonders: das Geschlecht des Hauses Davids besonders, und ihre Weiber besonders; das Geschlecht des Hauses Nathans [Vergl. Luk. 3,31 [Von Nathan stammte auch Serubbabel ab; s. Luk. 3,27]] besonders, und ihre Weiber besonders;

And the land shall lament in separate families, the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;

13 das Geschlecht des Hauses Levis besonders, und ihre Weiber besonders; das Geschlecht der Simeiter [Vergl. 4. Mose 3,21; es werden somit zwei Häuser aus königlichem und zwei aus priesterlichem Geschlecht angeführt] besonders, und ihre Weiber besonders;

the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Symeon by itself, and their wives by themselves;

14 alle übrigen Geschlechter, jedes Geschlecht besonders, und ihre Weiber besonders.

all the families that are left, each family by itself, and their wives by themselves.
