1 Xoossa sunththine iza timirttey cayetontta mala aylletetha qambbara garssan dizayti wuri ba godas kumetha bonchoy beessizayssa ereetto.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed.
2 Ammaniza godati diza ammaniza ashshikarati godati istta ishatas gidida gish godatas beessiza boncho immetto. Harapekka istta oothon maadetiza ammaniza godati isttas dosettidayta gidida gish nekka haytantta mala yoota tamarththanasine zoranas beesses.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 Oonikka wordo timirtte tamarsikko Goda Yesuss kiristtoosa loo7o qaalane ayana tumatetha minssiza timirttera gaaggonttayssa gidikko
If any man teacheth otherwise, and agreeth not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness;

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 Gasooykka nu hayssa ha alameza yishe aykkoka ekki yibeyikko; bisheka qasse ayikkoka ekki booko.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 Gido attin nuus maanayssine nu mayanayss diiko gidana.
And having food and raiment with these let us be content.
9 Dure gidanas koyizayti gidikko gede paacceninne narxxan gelidi oykettizayssa mala daro hadanine iita amon un7etetes.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Gasooykka miishsha siiqqoy iitateth wurssos xapho. Issi issi asati dure gidana giidi amope denddidayssan ammano ogeppe ballettidi haraso bidane berkka bena daro meto giido gelththida.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 Neno Xoossa aso! ne hessa wurssofe baqata. Xiilloteth, tumu ayyanan duussu, ammano, siiqqo, dandda7ane ashshiketeth kaalla.
But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Ammano baaxe lo7otha baaxista. Daro markkata sinththan loo7o ammanetethan ne markkatidayssane ne izas xeeyigetida medhdhina deyoza lo7etha oykka. (aiōnios g166)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 Wurssoskka deyo immiza Xoossa achchan hessathokka Phanxxoossa Philaxxoossa sinththan tuma markkattida Yesuss Kiristtoossa sinththan ta nena hadara gizay
I command thee in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 Goda Yesuss Kiristtoossay qonccana gakkanaas nees imetida oothoza wothoy bayinda ne polana malakko.
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 He qonccethay anjjettidayssi berkka wurssi harizaysinne kawoota kawooy, Godatas Goday izi ba woden beessana.
Who in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)
18 Lo7o oothana malanne lo7o oothon durista gidana mala, keyatane shaakki immanas dosizayta gidana mala asa azaza.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
19 Hessathokka tumu gidida deyo deemmana mala buroppe yaana wodes asay mino xapho gidiza haaro bees shiishshana.
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 Ximttossa, ne hadara ekkidayssa wurssa naaga. Xoossa bonchisontta hada duuna loommiu loommiupene wordo erateth geetettiza asi beepe medhdhi kessida timirttefe haakka.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Nuus hessa mala eratteth dees giza, issi issi asati hessaththo oothon ammano ogepe balettida. Xoossa kiyatethi intenara gido.
