Marc 3
1 Une autre fois, Jésus entra dans une synagogue, où se trouvait un homme qui avait la main desséchée.
And he entred againe into ye Synagogue, and there was a man which had a withered had.
2 Les pharisiens l'observaient pour voir s'il le guérirait un jour de sabbat, afin de pouvoir l'accuser.
And they watched him, whether he would heale him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
3 Il dit à l'homme qui avait la main desséchée: Lève-toi et tiens-toi au milieu de nous.
Then he saide vnto the man which had the withered hand, Arise: stand forth in the middes.
4 Puis il leur dit: Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal; de sauver une personne ou de la tuer? Mais ils gardaient le silence.
And he saide to them, Is it lawfull to doe a good deede on the Sabbath day, or to doe euil? to saue the life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5 Alors, promenant sur eux ses regards avec indignation, et affligé de l'endurcissement de leur coeur, il dit à l'homme: Étends ta main. Il l'étendit, et sa main redevint saine.
Then hee looked rounde about on them angerly, mourning also for the hardnesse of their hearts, and saide to the man, Stretch foorth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hande was restored, as whole as the other.
6 Les pharisiens, étant sortis, tinrent aussitôt conseil avec les hérodiens contre lui, pour le faire périr.
And the Pharises departed, and straightway gathered a councill with the Herodians against him, that they might destroy him.
7 Jésus se retira avec ses disciples du côté de la mer, et une grande multitude, venue de la Galilée, le suivit. De la Judée aussi,
But Iesus auoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galile, and from Iudea,
8 de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée, du pays au-delà du Jourdain, ainsi que des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, une grande multitude, ayant entendu parler de tout ce qu'il faisait, vint vers lui.
And from Ierusalem, and from Idumea, and beyonde Iordan: and they that dwelled about Tyrus and Sidon, when they had heard what great things he did, came vnto him in great number.
9 Alors il dit à ses disciples de lui tenir une petite barque toute prête, à cause de la foule, pour ne pas être trop pressé par elle.
And he commanded his disciples, that a litle shippe should waite for him, because of the multitude, lest they shoulde throng him.
10 Car il avait guéri plusieurs malades, de sorte que tous ceux qui avaient quelque mal se jetaient sur lui pour le toucher.
For hee had healed many, in so much that they preassed vpon him to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11 Et quand les esprits impurs le voyaient, ils tombaient à ses pieds et s'écriaient: Tu es le Fils de Dieu!
And when the vncleane spirits sawe him, they fel downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.
12 Mais il leur défendait sévèrement de le faire connaître.
And he sharply rebuked them, to the ende they should not vtter him.
13 Il alla ensuite sur la montagne, et il appela ceux qu'il voulut choisir lui-même, et ils vinrent à lui.
Then hee went vp into a mountaine, and called vnto him whome he woulde, and they came vnto him.
14 Il en désigna douze, qu'il nomma apôtres, pour les avoir avec lui et pour les envoyer prêcher,
And hee appoynted twelue that they should be with him, and that he might send them to preache,
15 avec le pouvoir de chasser les démons.
And that they might haue power to heale sicknesses, and to cast out deuils.
16 Voici les douze qu'il désigna: Simon, à qui il donna le nom de Pierre;
And the first was Simon, and hee named Simon, Peter,
17 Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanerges, c'est-à-dire fils du tonnerre;
Then Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn Iames brother (and surnamed them Boanerges, which is, the sonnes of thunder, )
18 André, Philippe, Barthélémy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, fils d'Alphée, Thaddée, Simon le Cananéen,
And Andrew, and Philippe, and Bartlemew, and Matthewe, and Thomas, and Iames, the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Cananite,
19 et Judas Iscariote, celui-là même qui le trahit.
And Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him, and they came home.
20 Jésus entra dans une maison avec ses disciples; et la foule s'y rassembla encore, de sorte qu'ils ne pouvaient pas même prendre leur repas.
And the multitude assembled againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.
21 Quand ses proches l'eurent appris, ils vinrent pour s'emparer de lui; car ils disaient qu'il avait perdu l'esprit.
And when his kinsfolkes heard of it, they went out to laie hold on him: for they sayde that he was beside himselfe.
22 Les scribes, descendus de Jérusalem, disaient: Il est possédé de Béelzébul, et il chasse les démons par le prince des démons!
And the Scribes which came downe from Hierusalem, saide, He hath Beelzebub, and through the prince of the deuils he casteth out deuils.
23 Mais Jésus, les ayant appelés, leur dit en paraboles: Comment Satan pourrait-il chasser Satan?
But he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, How can Satan driue out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume-là ne peut subsister;
For if a kingdome bee deuided against it selfe, that kingdome can not stand.
25 et si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison-là ne saurait subsister.
Or if a house bee deuided against it selfe, that house can not continue.
26 Si donc Satan s'élève contre lui-même, il est divisé et il ne peut subsister, mais il est près de sa fin.
So if Satan make insurrection against himselfe, and be deuided, hee can not endure but is at an ende.
27 Nul ne peut entrer dans la maison de l'homme fort et piller son bien, s'il n'a auparavant lié cet homme fort; après cela, il pourra piller sa maison.
No man can enter into a strong mans house, and take away his goods, except hee first binde that strong man, and then spoyle his house.
28 En vérité, je vous le dis, tous les péchés seront pardonnés aux enfants des hommes, ainsi que tous les blasphèmes qu'ils auront proférés;
Verely I say vnto you, all sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the children of men, and blasphemies, wherewith they blaspheme:
30 Jésus parla ainsi, parce qu'ils disaient: Il est possédé d'un esprit impur.
Because they saide, Hee had an vncleane spirit.
31 La mère et les frères de Jésus arrivèrent; et, se tenant dehors, ils l'envoyèrent appeler.
Then came his brethren and mother, and stoode without, and sent vnto him, and called him.
32 La foule était assise autour de lui. Et on lui dit: Voici que ta mère et tes frères sont là dehors, qui te cherchent.
And the people sate about him, and they said vnto him, Beholde, thy mother, and thy brethren seeke for thee without.
33 Mais il répondit: Qui est ma mère, et qui sont mes frères?
But hee answered them, saying, Who is my mother and my brethren?
34 Puis, jetant les yeux sur ceux qui étaient assis autour de lui, il dit: Voilà ma mère et mes frères!
And hee looked rounde about on them, which sate in compasse about him, and saide, Beholde my mother and my brethren.
35 Quiconque fait la volonté de Dieu, celui-là est mon frère, et ma soeur, et ma mère.
For whosoeuer doeth the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
