Marc 3
1 Une autre fois, il entra dans une synagogue, où se trouvait un homme qui avait la main paralysée.
And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.
2 Ils l'observèrent pour voir si, un jour de sabbat, il le guérirait; ils voulaient un prétexte à accusation.
And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.
3 Jésus alors s'adressa à l'homme dont la main était paralysée: «Lève-toi au milieu de nous tous!»
And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”
4 Puis il leur dit: «Aux jours de sabbat, est-il permis de faire le bien ou de faire le mal? de sauver une vie ou de la perdre?» Ils gardèrent le silence.
And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.
5 Alors, jetant sur eux un regard de colère, affligé d'un tel aveuglement de coeur, il dit à l'homme: «Étends la main!» Il l'étendit et sa main fut guérie.
And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.
6 Quant aux Pharisiens, ils sortirent et allèrent immédiatement se concerter avec les Hérodiens sur les moyens de le perdre.
Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.
7 Jésus se retira, avec ses disciples, du côté de la mer; et une foule considérable, venue de Galilée et de Judée, l'y suivit.
But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,
8 C'était une multitude immense, arrivant de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée, des terres situées au delà du Jourdain, des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, qui, à la nouvelle de ce qu'il faisait, venait à lui.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.
9 Il dit alors à ses disciples de lui procurer une barque à cause de la foule qui risquait de l'étouffer.
And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.
10 Il en guérissait, en effet, un grand nombre, et alors tous ceux qui avaient quelque mal se précipitaient sur lui, afin de le toucher.
For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.
11 Quant aux Esprits impurs, lorsqu'ils le voyaient, ils tombaient devant lui et s'écriaient: «Tu es le Fils de Dieu»;
And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,
12 et, par de sévères menaces, il leur interdisait de le faire connaître.
“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.
13 Ensuite il gravit la montagne; il appela ceux qu'il lui plut de désigner lui-même et ils vinrent à lui.
And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.
14 Alors il en choisit douze, auxquels il donna le nom d'apôtres, pour être avec lui et pour recevoir mission de prêcher,
And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.
15 avec le pouvoir de chasser les démons.
And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:
16 Voici les douze qu'il choisit: Simon, à qui il donna le nom de Pierre; —
and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;
17 Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanergès, c'est-à-dire fils du tonnerre; —
and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’
18 André; — Philippe; — Barthélemy; — Matthieu; — Thomas; — Jacques, fils d'Alphée; — Thaddée; — Simon le Cananite;
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 Judas l'Iskariôte, celui-là même qui le trahit. Ensuite il entra dans une maison
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 et la foule y accourut encore à tel point qu'ils ne pouvaient pas même manger.
And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Ceux de sa parenté, l'ayant appris, vinrent pour l'emmener avec eux. On disait, en effet, qu'il avait perdu l'esprit.
And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”
22 Quant aux Scribes, ceux qui étaient descendus de Jérusalem, ils disaient: «Il a en lui Beelzéboul», et: «C'est par le prince des démons qu'il chasse les démons.»
And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”
23 Alors il les appela à lui et leur dit en paraboles: «Comment Satan peut-il chasser Satan?
And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui, même, ce royaume ne peut subsister.
For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 Si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison ne pourra subsister;
And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 de même si Satan se livre bataille à lui-même et se divise, il ne peut subsister, il touche à sa fin.
And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.
27 Nul ne peut entrer dans la maison du guerrier et piller ce qu'il possède, s'il n'a tout d'abord chargé de liens le guerrier; ce n'est qu'alors qu'il pourra piller sa maison.»
No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.
28 En vérité, je vous le dis, toutes sortes de péchés seront pardonnés aux fils des hommes, ainsi que les blasphèmes aux blasphémateurs;
Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.
30 (C'était parce qu'ils disaient: «Il a en lui un Esprit impur).»
For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Ce fut alors qu'arrivèrent sa mère et ses frères, qui, se tenant dehors, le firent demander.
And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 Quantité de gens étaient assis autour de lui, lorsqu'on lui dit: «Voilà dehors ta mère et tes frères qui te cherchent.»
And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”
33 Il répondit ainsi: «Qui est ma mère et qui sont mes frères?»
And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”
34 Puis il regarda ceux qui étaient assis en cercle autour de lui et dit: «Voici ma mère et mes frères;
And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.
35 faire la volonté de Dieu, c'est être mon frère, c'est être ma soeur, c'est être ma mère.»
For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
