Psaumes 113

1 Alléluia! Serviteurs de l'Éternel, louez, louez le nom de l'Éternel!

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

2 Béni soit le nom de l'Éternel dès maintenant à jamais!

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

3 Du soleil levant jusques au couchant, que le nom de l'Éternel soit loué!

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name [is] to be praised.

4 L'Éternel s'élève par dessus tous les peuples, et sa gloire par dessus les Cieux.

The LORD [is] high above all nations, [and] his glory above the heavens.

5 Qui est semblable à l'Éternel, notre Dieu, qui habite une sublime région,

Who [is] like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 et qui se baisse pour voir les Cieux et la terre?

Who humbleth [himself] to behold [the things that are] in heaven, and in the earth!

7 Il relève l'humble de la poudre, et Il tire le pauvre de la fange,

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 pour le faire asseoir à côté des princes, à côté des princes de son peuple.

That he may set [him] with princes, [even] with the princes of his people.

9 Il donne dans la maison à l'épouse stérile la condition d'une mère que des fils réjouissent. Alléluia!

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [and to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
