1 Jésus proféra ces paroles, puis, après avoir levé les yeux vers le ciel, il dit: « Père, l'heure est venue! Glorifie Ton Fils, afin que Ton fils Te glorifie,

These wordes spake Iesus and lyfte vp his eyes to heven and sayde: father the houre is come: glorify thy sonne that thy sonne maye glorify the:

2 selon que Tu lui as donné autorité sur toute chair, afin qu'à tous ceux que Tu lui as donnés, il donne la vie éternelle. (aiōnios g166)

as thou hast geve him power over all fleshe that he shuld geve eternall lyfe to as many as thou hast geven him. (aiōnios g166)

3 Or voici ce qu'est la vie éternelle, c'est qu'ils Te connaissent comme le seul véritable Dieu, et, comme Christ, Jésus que Tu as envoyé. (aiōnios g166)

This is lyfe eternall that they myght knowe the that only very God and whom thou hast sent Iesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)

4 Pour moi, je T'ai glorifié sur la terre, en achevant l'œuvre que Tu m'as donnée à faire;

I have glorified ye on the erth. I have fynysshed ye worke which thou gavest me to do.

5 et maintenant, à Ton tour, glorifie-moi, Père, auprès de Toi, par la gloire que je possédais auprès de Toi avant que le monde existât.

And now glorify me thou father wt thyn awne selfe with the glory which I had with ye yerre ye worlde was.

6 J'ai manifesté Ton nom aux hommes que Tu m'as donnés du milieu du monde; ils étaient tiens, et Tu me les as donnés, et ils ont gardé Ta parole.

I have declared thy name vnto ye men which thou gavest me out of the worlde. Thyne they were and thou gavest them me and they have kept thy sayinges.

7 Maintenant ils ont connu que tout ce que Tu m'as donné vient de Toi,

Now they knowe that all thinges whatsoever thou hast geven me are of the.

8 car je leur ai donné les paroles que Tu m'as données, et ils les ont reçues, et ils ont vraiment connu que je suis issu d'auprès de Toi, et ils ont cru que c'est Toi qui m'as envoyé.

For I have geven vnto them the wordes which thou gavest me and they have receaved them and knowe surely that I came out from the: and doo beleve that thou dyddest send me.

9 C'est moi qui prie pour eux; je ne prie point pour le monde, mais pour ceux que Tu m'as donnés, parce qu'ils sont tiens,

I praye for them and praye not for the worlde: but for the which thou hast geve me for they are thyne.

10 (et tout ce qui est mien est tien, et ce qui est tien est mien), et que j'ai été glorifié en eux.

And all myne are thyne and thyne are myne and I am glorified in the.

11 Et je ne suis plus dans le monde, et eux sont dans le monde, et moi je vais vers Toi. Père saint! maintiens-les fidèles à Ton nom que Tu m'as donné, afin qu'ils soient un comme nous.

15 Je ne prie point pour que Tu les enlèves du monde, mais pour que Tu les garantisses du malin.

I desyre not that thou shuldest take the out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from evyll.

16 Ils ne sont pas du monde, comme moi-même je ne suis pas du monde;

They are not of the worlde as I am not of the worlde.

17 consacre-les à la vérité; Ta parole est la vérité.

Sanctify the wt thy truth. Thy sayinge is truth.

18 De même que Tu m'as envoyé dans le monde, moi, de mon côté, je les ai envoyés dans le monde;

As thou dyddest send me into the worlde even so have I sent them into the worlde

19 et c'est pour eux que je me consacre moi-même, afin qu'eux aussi soient consacrés à la vérité.

and for their sakes sanctify I my selfe that they also myght be sanctified thorowe the trueth.

20 Mais ce n'est pas seulement pour ceux-là que je prie, mais encore pour ceux qui, par leur parole, croient en moi,

I praye not for them alone: but for them also which shall beleve on me thorowe their preachynge

21 afin que tous soient un, comme Toi, Père, Tu es en moi, et moi en Toi, afin qu'eux aussi soient en nous, pour que le monde croie que c'est Toi qui m'as envoyé.

that they all maye be one as thou father arte in me and I in the that they maye be also one in vs that the worlde maye beleve that thou hast sent me.

22 Pour moi, je leur ai donné la gloire que Tu m'as donnée, afin qu'ils soient un comme nous sommes un;

And that glory that thou gavest me I have geven them that they maye be one as we are wone.

23 je suis en eux, et Tu es en moi, afin qu'ils arrivent à une parfaite unité, pour que le monde connaisse que c'est Toi qui m'as envoyé, et que Tu les a aimés comme Tu m'as aimé.

I in them and thou in me that they maye be made perfecte in one and that the worlde maye knowe that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

24 Père, ceux que Tu m'as donnés, je veux que là où je suis eux aussi y soient avec moi, afin qu'ils voient ma gloire, que Tu m'as donnée parce que Tu m'as aimé avant la création du monde,

Father I will that they which thou hast geven me be with me where I am that they maye se my glory which thou hast geven me. For thou lovedest me before the makynge of the worlde.

25 Père juste! Et le monde ne T'a pas connu, mais moi je T'ai connu, et ceux-ci ont connu que c'est Toi qui m'as envoyé;

26 et je leur ai fait connaître Ton nom, et je le leur ferai connaître, afin que l'amour dont Tu m'as aimé soit en eux, et moi en eux! »

And I have declared vnto them thy name and will declare it that the love wher wt thou hast loved me be in them and that I be in them.
