Exode 25
1 Alors l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces mots:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Dis aux enfants d'Israël qu'ils m'apportent des offrandes; vous accepterez pour moi une offrande de quiconque suivra le mouvement de son cœur.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
3 Et voici les offrandes que vous recevrez d'eux: de l'or et de l'argent et de l'airain,
And this [is] the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
4 de l'azur, du pourpre, du vermillon, du lin et du poil de chèvre;
And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ [hair],
5 et des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de chiens de mer et du bois d'acacia;
And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
6 de l'huile pour le candélabre, des aromates pour l'huile d'onction et l'encens odorant;
Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
7 des pierres d'onyx et d'autres pierreries enchâssées pour l'éphod et le pectoral.
Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
8 Et ils me feront un sanctuaire où j'habiterai au milieu d'eux;
And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
9 ils suivront en tout point le modèle de tabernacle que je t'ai montré, et le modèle que je t'ai montré pour ses meubles.
According to all that I shew thee, [after] the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make [it].
10 Et ils feront une Arche de bois d'acacia, ayant deux coudées et demie de longueur et une coudée et demie de largeur et une coudée et demie de hauteur.
And they shall make an ark [of] shittim wood: two cubits and a half [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
11 Et tu la plaqueras d'or pur; elle sera plaquée à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, et tu y feras une bordure d'or qui l'entoure.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
12 Et tu couleras quatre anneaux d'or que tu fixeras à ses quatre angles, deux anneaux à l'un de ses côtés, et deux anneaux à l'autre de ses côtés.
And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put [them] in the four corners thereof; and two rings [shall be] in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
13 Et tu feras des barres de bois d'acacia que tu plaqueras d'or.
And thou shalt make staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
14 Et tu passeras les barres dans les anneaux sur les côtés de l'Arche, pour servir au transport de l'Arche;
And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
15 les barres resteront dans les anneaux de l'Arche dont on ne les retirera point.
The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
16 Et tu déposeras dans l'Arche le Témoignage que je te remettrai.
And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
17 Et tu feras un couvercle d'or pur, long de deux coudées et demie et large d'une coudée et demie.
And thou shalt make a mercy seat [of] pure gold: two cubits and a half [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
18 Fais encore deux Chérubins d'or; ils seront travaillés au tour et placés aux deux extrémités du couvercle,
And thou shalt make two cherubims [of] gold, [of] beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
19 et tu placeras un Chérubin à l'un des bouts et un Chérubin à l'autre bout, vous les fixerez au couvercle à ses deux bouts,
And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: [even] of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
20 et les Chérubins étendront leurs ailes par-dessus, couvrant le couvercle de leurs ailes et se faisant face l'un à l'autre, les Chérubins auront la face tournée vers le couvercle;
And the cherubims shall stretch forth [their] wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces [shall look] one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
21 et tu couvriras l'Arche avec le couvercle, et dans l'intérieur de l'Arche tu déposeras le Témoignage que je te remettrai.
And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
22 Et c'est de là que je conférerai avec toi, et je t'adresserai de dessus le couvercle, d'entre les deux Chérubins qui seront sur l'Arche du Témoignage, tous les ordres que je te donnerai pour les enfants d'Israël.
And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all [things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
23 Tu feras aussi une Table de bois d'acacia, de deux coudées de longueur, d'une coudée de largeur et d'une coudée et demie de hauteur,
Thou shalt also make a table [of] shittim wood: two cubits [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24 et tu la plaqueras d'or pur et la couronneras d'une bordure d'or,
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
25 la muniras tout autour d'un rebord d'un empan de hauteur, auquel tu ajouteras une bordure d'or pur tout autour;
And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
26 et tu y fixeras quatre anneaux d'or que tu placeras aux quatre angles répondant à ses quatre pieds;
And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that [are] on the four feet thereof.
27 les anneaux se trouveront à la jonction du rebord pour recevoir les barres qui serviront au transport de la Table.
Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
28 Et tu feras les barres de bois d'acacia, et les plaqueras d'or et elles serviront au transport de la Table.
And thou shalt make the staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
29 Et tu feras ses plats et ses coupes et ses calices et ses patères qui serviront aux libations, tu les feras d'or pur.
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: [of] pure gold shalt thou make them.
30 Et sur la Table tu me serviras continuellement des pains de présentation.
And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
31 Tu feras aussi un Candélabre d'or pur; le Candélabre avec sa lampe et sa tige sera fait au tour; il portera des calices, des boutons et des fleurs,
And thou shalt make a candlestick [of] pure gold: [of] beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
32 et six tubes sortant de ses côtés, trois tubes d'un des côtés du Candélabre et trois tubes de l'autre côté;
And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
33 il y aura trois calices taillés en amandes à l'un des tubes avec boutons et fleurs et trois calices taillés en amandes à l'autre tube avec boutons et fleurs, et cela pour les six tubes sortant du Candélabre
Three bowls made like unto almonds, [with] a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, [with] a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
34 qui lui-même portera quatre calices taillés en amandes avec leurs boutons et leurs fleurs,
And in the candlestick [shall be] four bowls made like unto almonds, [with] their knops and their flowers.
35 et un bouton au-dessous de l'embranchement de deux tubes qui au nombre de six sortent du Candélabre;
And [there shall be] a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
36 il portera des boutons et des tubes, le tout fait au tour et d'or pur.
Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it [shall be] one beaten work [of] pure gold.
37 Et tu en feras les sept lampes qui seront placées de manière à faire que la lumière se projette droit en avant,
And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
38 et les mouchettes et les cendriers d'or pur.
And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, [shall be of] pure gold.
39 Pour le faire avec tout cet attirail on emploiera un talent d'or pur.
[Of] a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
40 Et veille à suivre dans l'exécution le modèle que je t'ai montré sur la montagne.
And look that thou make [them] after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
