1 Chroniques 3
1 Suivent les fils de David, qui lui naquirent à Hébron: le premier-né Amnon, de Ahinoam de Jizréel; le second Daniel, d'Abigaïl, du Carmel;
Six sons of [King] David were born in Hebron [city]. His oldest son was Amnon, whose mother Ahinoam was from Jezreel [city]. His next son was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel [city].
2 le troisième Absalom, fils de Maacha, fille de Thalmaï, roi de Gesur, le quatrième Adonia, fils de Haggith;
His next son was Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, the king [who ruled] in Geshur [town]. His next son was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.
3 le cinquième Sephatia, de Abital; le sixième Jithream, de Egla, sa femme.
The next son was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital. His youngest son was Ithream, whose mother was Eglah.
4 Six fils lui naquirent à Hébron et il régna là sept ans et six mois, et à Jérusalem il régna trente-trois ans.
They were all born in Hebron, where David ruled for 7-1/2 years. After that, David ruled in Jerusalem for 33 years.
5 Et voici ceux qui lui naquirent à Jérusalem;
Many of David’s children were born in Jerusalem. Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel, gave birth to four of his sons: Shammua (OR, Shimea), Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.
6 Simea et Sobab et Nathan et Salomon, quatre, de Bathsuah, fille d'Ammiel, et Jibechar et Elisama et Eliphélet
Nine [other sons of David were also born there. They were] Ibhar, Elishua (OR, Elishama), Eliphelet,
7 et Noga et Népheg et Japhia et Elisama
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 et Eliada et Eliphélet, neuf,
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.
9 tous fils de David, outre les fils des concubines. Et Thamar était leur sœur.
In addition to all those sons, David’s slave wives also gave birth to sons. David also had one daughter whose name was Tamar.
10 Et le fils de Salomon fut Roboam, dont le fils fut Abia qui eut pour fils Asa, dont le fils fut Josaphat
Solomon’s son was [King] Rehoboam. Rehoboam’s son was [King] Abijah. Abijah’s son was [King] Asa. Asa’s son was [King] Jehoshaphat.
11 qui eut pour fils Joram, dont le fils fut Achazia qui eut pour fils Joas,
Jehoshaphat’s son was [King] Jehoram (OR, Joram). Jehoram’s son was [King] Ahaziah. Ahaziah’s son was [King] Joash.
12 dont le fils fut Amatsia qui eut pour fils Azaria, dont le fils fut Jotham
Joash’s son was [King] Amaziah. Amaziah’s son was [King] Azariah. Azariah’s son was [King] Jotham.
13 qui eut pour fils Achaz, dont le fils fut Ezéchias qui eut pour fils Manassé,
Jotham’s son was [King] Ahaz. Ahaz’s son was [King] Hezekiah. Hezekiah’s son was [King] Manasseh.
14 dont le fils fut Amon qui eut pour fils Josias.
Manasseh’s son was [King] Amon. Amon’s son was [King] Josiah.
15 Et les fils de Josias: le premier-né Jochanan, le second Jojakim, le troisième Sédécias, le quatrième Sallum.
Josiah’s oldest son was Johanan. His other sons were Jehoiakim, Zedekiah, and Shallum.
16 Et les fils de Jojakim: son fils Jéchonias qui eut pour fils Sédécias.
Jehoiakim’s sons were Jehoiachin (OR, Jeconiah) and Zedekiah.
17 Et les fils de Jéchonias, le captif: son fils fut Sealthiel
[King] Jehoiachin was captured [and taken to Babylon]. His sons were Shealtiel,
18 et Malchiram et Phedaia et Sénatsar, Jecamia, Hosama et Nedabia.
Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Et les fils de Phedaia: Zorobabel et Siméï. Et les fils de Zorobabel: Mesullam et Hanania et Selomith, leur sœur,
Pedaiah’s sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. [Two of] Zerubbabel’s sons were Meshullam and Hananiah, and their sister was Shelomith.
20 et Hasuba et Ohel et Béréchia et Hasadia, Jusab-Hesed, cinq.
[Zerubbabel’s] five [other sons were] Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed.
21 Et le fils de Hanania: Platia et Esaïe, les fils de Rephaia, les fils d'Arnan, les fils d'Obadia, les fils de Sechania.
The descendants of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah’s son was Rephaiah. Rephaiah’s son was Arnan. Arnan’s son was Obadiah. Obadiah’s son was Shecaniah.
22 Et les fils de Sechania: Semaia. Et les fils de Semaia: Hatus et Jigal et Bariah et Nearia et Saphat, six.
Shecaniah’s son was Shemaiah. Shemaiah’s five sons were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 Et le fils de Nearia: Elioeinaï et Ezéchias et Azrikam, trois.
Neariah’s three sons were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam.
24 Et les fils d'Elioeinaï: Hodaïa et Eliasib et Plaia et Accub et Jochanan et Delaïa et Anani, sept.
Elioenai’s seven sons were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
