Marc 3
1 Il entra de nouveau dans la synagogue de Capernaoum. Il s'y trouvait un homme qui avait la main sèche,
And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.
2 et l'on observait Jésus, pour voir s'il le guérirait le jour du sabbat, afin de l'accuser.
And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.
3 Jésus dit à l'homme qui avait la main sèche: «Lève-toi, et mets-toi là au milieu.»
And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”
4 Puis il leur dit: «Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire bien ou de faire mal, de sauver la vie ou de l'ôter?» Mais ils gardèrent le silence.
And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.
5 Alors, promenant ses regards sur eux avec indignation, affligé qu'il était de l'aveuglement de leurs coeurs, il dit à cet homme: «Étends la main.» Il retendit, et sa main fut guérie.
And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.
6 Aussitôt les pharisiens sortirent et tinrent conseil contre lui avec les hérodiens, sur les moyens de le faire périr.
Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.
7 Jésus se retira avec ses disciples vers la mer, et il fut suivi d'une grande foule venue de la Galilée, ainsi que de la Judée,
But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,
8 de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée et de delà le Jourdain. Les gens des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, ayant entendu parler de tout ce qu'il faisait, vinrent aussi vers lui en grand nombre.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.
9 Il ordonna à ses disciples de tenir toujours un bateau à sa disposition, pour que la foule ne l'accablât pas;
And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.
10 car, par suite des nombreuses guérisons qu'il avait faites, tous ceux qui avaient des infirmités se jetaient sur lui pour le toucher;
For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.
11 et, quand les esprits impurs le voyaient, ils se précipitaient à ses pieds, et s'écriaient: «Tu es le Fils de Dieu.»
And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,
12 Jésus leur recommandait fort sévèrement de ne pas le faire connaître.
“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.
13 Ensuite, étant monté sur la montagne, il appela ceux qu'il lui plut; et ils vinrent vers lui.
And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.
14 Il en désigna douze pour être avec lui, et pour les envoyer prêcher
And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.
15 avec le pouvoir de chasser les démons:
And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:
16 ce furent Simon, à qui il donna le nom de Pierre,
and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;
17 Jacques fils de Zébédée, et Jean frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanerges, c’est-à-dire, fils du tonnerre,
and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’
18 André, Philippe, Barthélémy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, fils d'Alphée, Thaddée, Simon le zélateur
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 et Judas Iscariot, qui le livra.
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 Ils rentrèrent à la maison, et il s'assembla de nouveau une si grande foule, qu'ils ne pouvaient pas même prendre leur repas.
And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Les parents de Jésus, ayant appris ce qui se passait, partirent pour se saisir de lui; car ils disaient: «Il a perdu l'esprit.»
And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”
22 Les scribes qui étaient venus de Jérusalem, disaient: «Il est possédé de Belzébuth, » et: «C'est par le prince des démons, qu'il chasse les démons.»
And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”
23 Jésus les appela, et leur dit en se servant de comparaisons: «Comment Satan peut-il chasser Satan?
And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est en proie aux divisions, ce royaume ne peut subsister;
For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 et si une maison est en proie aux divisions, cette maison ne peut subsister.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 S'il est vrai que Satan s'est soulevé contre lui-même, et qu'il est en proie aux divisions, il ne peut subsister, mais c'en est fait de lui.
And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.
27 D'ailleurs, personne ne peut entrer dans la maison de l'homme fort, pour piller ses biens, s'il n'a auparavant lié cet homme fort, après quoi il pillera sa maison.
No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.
28 En vérité, je vous dis que tous les péchés seront pardonnés aux fils des hommes, et tous les blasphèmes qu'ils auront pu proférer;
Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.
30 Jésus leur parla ainsi, parce qu'ils disaient: «Il est possédé d'un esprit impur.»
For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Ses frères et sa mère arrivèrent donc, et se tenant dehors, ils le firent appeler.
And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 La foule était assise autour de lui, lorsqu'on lui dit: «Ta mère, tes frères et tes soeurs sont là dehors, qui te cherchent.»
And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”
33 Et Jésus répondit: «Qui est ma mère, et qui sont mes frères?»
And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”
34 Puis, promenant ses regards sur ceux qui étaient assis tout autour de lui: «Voici, dit-il, ma mère et mes frères;
And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.
35 car celui qui fait la volonté de Dieu, celui-là est mon frère, et ma soeur, et ma mère.»
For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
