Luc 20
1 Un de ces jours-là, comme Jésus enseignait le peuple dans le temple, et lui annonçait la bonne nouvelle, les sacrificateurs et les scribes accompagnés des anciens survinrent,
And it came to pass on one of the days (of those *k) when is teaching He the people in the temple and evangelising came up the (chief priests *NK+o) and the scribes with the elders
2 et s'adressèrent à lui, disant: «Dis-nous de quel droit tu fais ces choses, et qui t'a donné ce droit?»
and spoke saying to Him: do tell us by what authority these things You do or who is the [one] having given to You authority this?
3 Jésus leur répondit: «Je vous ferai aussi une question;
Answering now He said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also (one *k) thing, and do tell Me:
4 dites-moi: «Le baptême de Jean venait-il du ciel ou des hommes?»
The baptism of John from heaven was it or from men?
5 Mais ils firent entre eux cette réflexion: Si nous disons «du ciel, » il dira: Pourquoi n'y avez-vous pas cru?
And they reasoned among themselves saying that If we shall say: From heaven, He will say; Because of why (therefore *K) not did you believe in him?
6 et si nous disons «des hommes, » tout le peuple nous lapidera, car il est persuadé que Jean était un prophète!
If however we shall say; From men, the people (all *N+kO) will stone us; persuaded for they are John a prophet to be.
7 Ils répondirent qu'ils ne savaient d'où il venait.
And they answered not to know from where.
8 Et Jésus leur dit: «Moi non plus, je ne vous dirai pas de quel droit je fais ces choses.»
And Jesus said to them; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I am doing.
9 Il se mit à adresser au peuple cette parabole: «Un homme avait planté une vigne; il l'afferma à des vignerons, et quitta le pays pour un temps assez long.
He began then to the people to speak parable this: A man (certain *NK) planted a vineyard and rented it to farmers and went abroad a time long.
10 A l'époque des vendanges, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons pour qu'ils lui donnent une part de la récolte; mais les vignerons le battirent, et le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
And (in *k) [in the] season he sent to the farmers a servant that from the fruit of the vineyard (they will give *N+kO) to him; But the farmers sent away him having beaten [him] empty-handed.
11 Il envoya un second serviteur; ils le battirent aussi, le maltraitèrent indignement, et le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
And he proceeded another to send a servant; but him him having beaten and having dishonored they sent away empty-handed.
12 Il en envoya encore un troisième; ils le blessèrent aussi, et le chassèrent.
And he proceeded a third to send; They then also him having wounded they cast out.
13 Le maître de la vigne se dit: «Que faire? Je vais envoyer mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être qu'en le voyant, ils le respecteront.»
Said then the master of the vineyard; What shall I do? I will send the son of mine the beloved; perhaps him (having seen *K) they will respect.
14 Mais, quand les vignerons le virent, ils se dirent entre eux: «C'est l'héritier; tuons-le, pour que l'héritage soit à nous.»
Having seen now him the farmers were reasoning among (one another *N+kO) saying; This is the heir; (come *K) let us kill him so that ours may become the inheritance.
15 Là-dessus, ils le jetèrent hors de la vigne, et le tuèrent. Que leur fera donc le maître de la vigne?
And having cast forth him outside the vineyard they killed [him]. What therefore will do to them the master of the vineyard?
16 Il viendra, fera périr ces vignerons, et donnera la vigne à d'autres.» A ces mots, le peuple dit: «A Dieu ne plaise!»
He will come and he will destroy farmers these and will give the vineyard to others. Having heard [it] then they said; Never would it be!
17 Mais Jésus jetant les yeux sur eux, dit: «Que signifie donc cette parole de l'Ecriture: «La pierre que les constructeurs avaient mise au rebut, est devenue la pierre angulaire?»
But having looked at them He said; What then is that written this: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become into [the] head of [the] corner’?
18 Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre, s'y brisera; et elle écrasera celui sur qui elle tombera.»
Everyone falling on that [very] stone will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind into powder him.
19 Les scribes et les principaux sacrificateurs désiraient se saisir de lui sur l'heure, mais la crainte du peuple les retint: ils avaient compris que c'était à eux que s'adressait cette parabole.
And sought the scribes and the chief priests to lay on Him hands in that hour and they feared the people; they perceived for that against them He was speaking parable this.
20 Ils ne perdirent pas Jésus de vue, et envoyèrent des personnes insidieuses, qui contrefaisaient les justes, afin de le surprendre dans ses paroles, et de le livrer aux magistrats et au pouvoir du gouverneur.
And having watched [Him] they sent spies feigning themselves righteous to be, that they may catch Him in talk, (in order *N+kO) to deliver Him to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
21 Elles lui posèrent cette question: «Maître, nous savons que tu parles et enseignes comme il faut, et que tu ne fais pas acception de personnes, mais que tu enseignes en toute vérité la voie de Dieu.
And they questioned Him saying; Teacher, we know that rightly You speak and You teach and not You receive [any] person but on the basis of truth the way of God teach.
22 Nous est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César?»
Is it lawful (for us *N+kO) to Caesar tribute to give or not?
23 Mais Jésus ayant démêlé leur fourberie, leur dit:
having perceived however of them the craftiness He said to them (why *KO) (me do you test; *K)
24 «Montrez-moi un denier?... De qui porte-il l'effigie et la légende?» Ils répondirent: «De César.»
(do show *N+kO) Me a denarius; Of whom has it [the] image and inscription? (Those *N+KO) And they said; Caesar’s.
25 — «Eh bien! leur dit-il, rendez à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu.»
And He said (to *no) (them; *N+kO) Therefore do give back the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
26 Ils ne purent lui arracher aucune parole compromettante devant le peuple, et, surpris de sa réponse, ils gardèrent le silence.
And not they were able to catch Him in (His *NK+o) declaration before the people, and having marveled at the answer of Him they became silent.
27 Quelques sadducéens, gens qui prétendent qu'il n'y a point de résurrection, vinrent vers Jésus, et lui posèrent cette question:
Having approached then some of the Sadducees, the ones (denying *NK+o) a resurrection not being, they questioned Him
28 «Maître, Moïse nous a donné cette loi: «Si un frère marié meurt, et meurt sans enfants, que son frère épouse sa femme et suscite lignée à son frère.»
saying; Teacher, Moses wrote to us: if anyone’s brother shall die having a wife and he childless (shall be, *N+KO) that shall take the brother of him the wife and shall raise up seed to the brother of him.
29 Il y avait donc sept frères: le premier s'étant marié, mourut sans enfants.
Seven therefore brothers there were; and the first having taken a wife died childless,
30 Le second, puis le troisième épousèrent la veuve.
and (took *K) the second (wife and this died childless *K)
31 Il en fut de même des sept; ils moururent tous, sans laisser d'enfants.
and the third took her (likewise *o) likewise then also the seven not did leave children and died.
32 Ensuite, la femme mourut aussi.
Finally (now of all *K) also the woman died.
33 Duquel d'entre eux sera-t-elle donc la femme dans la résurrection, car les sept frères l'ont eue pour femme.»
(The woman *no) therefore in the resurrection, of which of them does she become wife? For the seven had her as wife.
And (answering *k) said to them Jesus; The sons of the age this marry and (are given in marriage, *N+kO) (aiōn g165)
35 mais ceux qui seront jugés dignes d'avoir part au siècle à venir, et à la résurrection d'entre les morts, ne se marieront point; (aiōn g165)
those however having been considered worthy of the age that [one] to obtain and of the resurrection from [the] dead neither marry nor (are given in marriage; *N+k+o) (aiōn g165)
36 car ils ne peuvent même pas mourir, puisqu'ils sont comme les anges, et qu'ils sont fils de Dieu, étant fils de la résurrection.
(neither *N+kO) for to die any more are they able, like [the] angels for they are, and sons they are of God of the resurrection sons being.
37 Que les morts ressuscitent, c'est ce que Moïse même a indiqué dans le passage où il parle du buisson; lorsqu'il appelle le Seigneur «le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob; »
for however are raised the dead, even Moses showed at the bush when he names [the] Lord the God of Abraham and (the *k) God of Isaac and (the *k) God of Jacob.’
38 Dieu n'est pas Dieu des morts, mais Dieu des vivants, car ils sont tous vivants pour lui.»
God now not He is of [the] dead but of [the] living; all for to Him live.
39 Quelques scribes, ayant pris la parole, dirent: «Maître, tu as bien parlé.»
Answering now some of the scribes said; Teacher, well you have spoken.
40 En effet, on n'osait plus lui poser une seule question.
no longer no longer (then *N+kO) were they daring to ask Him no [thing].
41 Jésus leur dit: «Comment dit-on que le Messie est fils de David,
He said then to them; How do they declare the Christ to be David's Son
42 quand David dit, lui-même, dans le livre des Psaumes: «Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite,
(and *ko) Himself (for *no) David says in [the] book of Psalms: Said (the *ko) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit at [the] right hand of Me
43 jusqu’à ce que j’aie fait de tes ennemis ton marchepied?»
until when I may place the enemies of You [as] a footstool of the feet of You.
44 Puis donc que David l'appelle «Seigneur, » comment est-il son fils?»
David therefore Lord Him calls, and how of him son is He?
45 Il dit à ses disciples en présence de tout le peuple, qui l’écoutait:
When are listening now all the people He said to the disciples of Him;
46 «Gardez-vous des scribes, qui aiment à se promener en robes, qui recherchent les salutations dans les places publiques, les premiers sièges dans les synagogues et les premières places dans les repas:
do beware of the scribes who are desiring to walk in long robes and loving greetings in the marketplaces and first seats in the synagogues and first places in the banquets,
47 ces gens qui dévorent les maisons des veuves, sous prétexte de longues prières, seront jugés d'autant plus sévèrement.»
who devour the houses of widows and as a pretext at great length pray; These will receive more excessive condemnation.
