Zacharie 6
1 Et j'élevai encore mes yeux, et regardai, et voici quatre chariots, qui sortaient d'entre deux montagnes; et ces montagnes étaient des montagnes d'airain.
Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.
2 Au premier chariot il y avait des chevaux roux; au second chariot, des chevaux noirs;
In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,
3 Au troisième chariot, des chevaux blancs; au quatrième chariot, des chevaux cendrés, mouchetés.
And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.
4 Et je pris la parole, et dis à l'Ange qui parlait avec moi: Mon Seigneur, que [veulent dire] ces choses?
Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?
5 Et l'Ange répondit, et me dit: Ce [sont] les quatre vents des cieux qui sortent du lieu où ils se tenaient devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.
And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.
6 [Quant au chariot] où sont les chevaux noirs, ils sortent vers le pays de l'Aquilon, et les blancs sortent après eux; mais les mouchetés sortent vers le pays du Midi.
That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.
7 Ensuite les cendrés sortirent, et demandèrent d'aller courir par la terre. Et il leur dit: Allez, et courez par la terre. Et ils coururent par la terre.
And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.
8 Puis il m'appela, et me parla, en disant: Voici, ceux qui sortent vers le pays de l'Aquilon, ont fait reposer mon Esprit dans le pays de l'Aquilon.
Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.
9 Et la parole de l'Eternel me fut [adressée], en disant:
And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
10 Prends de ceux qui sont de retour de la captivité, [savoir], de chez Heldaï, de chez Tobija, et de chez Jédahïa; et viens ce même jour-là, et entre dans la maison de Josias fils de Sophonie, qui sont venus de Babylone.
Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.
11 Et prends de l'argent et de l'or, et fais-en des couronnes, et [les] mets sur la tête de Jéhosuah, fils de Jéhotsadak, grand Sacrificateur.
Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
12 Et parle-lui, en disant: Ainsi a parlé l'Eternel des armées, disant: Voici un homme, duquel le nom est Germe, qui germera de dessous soi, et qui bâtira le Temple de l'Eternel.
And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.
13 Oui, lui-même bâtira le Temple de l'Eternel; et lui-même sera rempli de majesté, et sera assis, et dominera sur son trône, et sera Sacrificateur, [étant] sur son trône; et il y aura un conseil de paix entre les deux.
Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
14 Et les couronnes seront à Hélem, et à Tobija, et à Jédahïa, et à Hen fils de Sophonie pour mémorial, dans le Temple de l'Eternel.
And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.
15 Et ceux qui sont de loin viendront, et bâtiront au Temple de l'Eternel; et vous saurez que l'Eternel des armées m'a envoyé vers vous; et ceci arrivera si vous écoutez attentivement la voix de l'Eternel votre Dieu.
And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
