Aggée 1
1 La seconde année du Roi Darius, le premier jour du sixième mois, la parole de l'Eternel fut [adressée] par le moyen d'Aggée le Prophète, à Zorobabel, fils de Salathiel, Gouverneur de Judée, et à Jéhosuah, fils de Jéhotsadak, grand Sacrificateur, en disant:
In year two of Darius the king in the month sixth on day one of the month it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and to Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great saying.
2 Ainsi a parlé l'Erternel des armées, en disant: Ce peuple-ci a dit: Le temps n'est pas ecore venu, le temps de rebâtir la maison de l'Eternel.
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts saying the people this they have said not a time to come [the] time of [the] house of Yahweh to be rebuilt.
3 C'est pourquoi la parole de l'Eternel a été adressée par le moyen d'Aggée le Prophète, en disant:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet saying.
4 Est-il temps pour vous d'habiter dans vos maisons lambrissées, pendant que cette maison demeure désolée?
¿ [does] a time [belong] to You you to dwell in houses your covered and the house this [is] desolate.
5 Maintenat donc ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: Considérez attentivement votre conduite.
And therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts set heart your on ways your.
6 Vous avez semé beaucoup, mais vous avez peu serré; vous avez mangé, mais non pas jusqu'à être rassasiés; vous avez bu, mais vous n'avez pas eu de quoi boire abondamment; vous avez été vêtus, mais non pas jusqu'à en être échauffés, et celui qui se loue, se loue [pour mettre] son salaire dans un sac percé.
You have sown much and you have brought little you have eaten and not to satiety you have drunk and not to become drunk you have dressed and not to be warm to him and the [one who] earns wages [is] earning wages to a bag pierced.
7 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: Pesez bien votre conduite.
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts set heart your on ways your.
8 Montez à la montagne, apportez du bois, et bâtissez cette maison; et j'y prendrai mon plaisir, et je serai glorifié, a dit l'Eternel.
Go up the hill country and you will bring wood and rebuild the house so I may take pleasure in it (so let me be honored *QK) he says Yahweh.
9 On regardait à beaucoup, et voici, [tout est revenu] à peu; et vous l'avez apporté à la maison, et j'ai soufflé desssus; pourquoi? A cause de ma maison, dit l'Eternel des armées, laquelle demeure désolée, pendant que vous courez chacun à sa maison.
You turned to look to much and there! little and you brought [it] the house and I blew on it because of what? [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts because of house my which it [is] desolate and you [are] running each to own house his.
10 A cause de cela les cieux se sont fermés sur nous pour ne point donner la rosée, et la terre a retenu son rapport.
There-fore on you they have withheld ([the] heavens *Lb) from dew and the land it has withheld produce its.
11 Et j'ai appelé la sécheresse sur la terre, et sur les montagnes, et sur le froment, et sur le moût, et sur l'huile, et sur [tout] ce que la terre produit, et sur les hommes, et sur les bêtes, et sur tout le travail des mains.
And I have summoned a drought on the land and on the mountains and on the grain and on the new wine and on the fresh oil and on [that] which it will bring forth the ground and on humankind and on the livestock and on all [the] toil of hands.
12 Zorobabel donc, fils de Salathiel, et Jéhosuah, fils de Jéhotsadak, grand Sacrificateur, et tout le reste du peuple, entendirent la voix de l'Eternel leur Dieu, et les paroles d'Aggée le Prophète, ainsi que l'Eternel leur Dieu l'avait envoyé; et le peuple eut peur de la présence de l'Eternel.
And he listened Zerubbabel - [the] son of Shealtiel and Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and all - [the] remnant of the people to [the] voice of Yahweh God their and to [the] words of Haggai the prophet just as he had sent him Yahweh God their and they were afraid the people of Yahweh.
13 Et Aggée, Ambassadeur de l'Eternel, parla au peuple, suivant l'ambassade de l'Eternel, en disant: Je suis avec vous, dit l'Eternel.
And he said Haggai [the] messenger of Yahweh by [the] message of Yahweh to the people saying I [am] with you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
14 Et l'Eternel excita l'esprit de Zorobabel fils de Salathiel, Gouverneur de Juda, et l'esprit de Jéhosuah, fils de Jéhotsadak, grand Sacrificateur, et l'esprit de tout le reste du peuple; et ils vinrent, et travaillèrent à la maison de l'Eternel leur Dieu.
And he stirred up Yahweh [the] spirit of Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and [the] spirit of Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and [the] spirit of all [the] remnant of the people and they came and they did work in [the] house of Yahweh of hosts God their.
15 Le vingt-quatrième jour du sixième mois, de la seconde année du Roi Darius.
On day twenty and four of the month in the sixth [month] in year two of Darius the king.
