Michée 3
1 Et Il dira: Écoutez maintenant ces paroles, princes de la maison de Jacob, restes de la maison d'Israël; n'est-ce pas à vous de connaître le jugement?
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and you princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
2 Ceux qui haïssent le bien et cherchent le mal, arrachent eux-mêmes la peau de leur corps et la chair de leurs os.
Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3 De même qu'ils ont mangé mes chairs de Mon peuple, qu'ils l'ont écorché pour lui enlever la peau, qu'ils ont rompu ses os, qu'ils l'ont dépecé, comme les viandes qu'on fait cuire dans une marmite ou une chaudière
Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 de même ils crieront au Seigneur, et Il ne les écoutera pas; et en ce temps-là Il détournera d'eux sa face, parce qu'ils ont fait le mal en leurs pratiques contre le peuple.
Then shall they cry to the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
5 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur contre les prophètes qui égarent Mon peuple, qui mordent à pleines dents, qui lui annoncent la paix, et qui, si rien n'est donné à leur bouche, excitent la guerre contre lui:
Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that puts not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
6 à cause de cela, la nuit sera pour vous sans visons, il y aura pour vous ténèbres sans prophéties; et le soleil se couchera sur les prophètes, et pour eux le jour sera obscurci.
Therefore night shall be to you, that you shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark to you, that you shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7 Et les voyants qui devinent les songes seront confondus, et les devins seront moqués, et tout le monde parlera contre eux, parce qu'il n'y aura personne pour les écouter.
Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yes, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
8 Pour moi, je me remplirai de force, inspiré par le Seigneur, par le jugement et l'autorité, pour faire connaître ses impiétés à Jacob et ses péchés à Israël.
But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9 Écoutez donc ces paroles, chefs de la maison de Jacob, restes de la maison d'Israël, vous qui haïssez la justice et pervertissez toute droiture,
Hear this, I pray you, you heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
10 qui bâtissez Sion dans le sang et Jérusalem dans l'iniquité.
They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Les princes de Jérusalem ont jugé pour des présents; ses prêtres ont parlé pour un salaire; ses prophètes ont prédit pour de l'argent, et ils se sont reposés sur le Seigneur, disant: Est-ce que le Seigneur n'est pas avec nous? Jamais il ne nous arrivera malheur.
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean on the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come on us.
12 À cause de cela, à cause de vous, la charrue passera sur Sion comme sur un champ; Jérusalem ressemblera à la cabane d'un garde de vergers, et la montagne du temple sera une forêt de chênes.
Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
