Osée 7

1 Quand je veux opérer la guérison d’Israël, il arrive que se dévoilent l’iniquité d’Ephraïm et les méfaits de Samarie, car ils pratiquent le mensonge, des voleurs font irruption, des bandes de pillards se répandent au dehors.

When heal I Israel and it is revealed [the] iniquity of Ephraim and [the] evil deeds of Samaria for they do falsehood and a thief he comes it attacks a marauding band in the street.

2 Ils ne se disent pas dans le secret de leur cœur que je garde le souvenir de toute leur perversité; or, leurs actions les enserrent, elles sont là devant ma face.

And not they say to heart their all evil their I remember now they have surrounded them deeds their before face my they are.

3 Par leur perversité, ils font plaisir au roi, par leurs tromperies aux princes.

By evil their they make glad [the] king and by lies their princes.

4 Ils sont tous débauchés, ardents comme un four allumé par le boulanger, qui s’abstient d’attiser le feu depuis le moment où la pâte est pétrie jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit levée.

All of them [are] adulterers like an oven burning from a baker [who] he ceases stirring up from kneading [the] dough until is leavened it.

5 "C’Est le jour de fête de notre roi!" Les princes s’y rendent malades par la chaleur du vin: on tend la main aux railleurs.

[the] day of King our they became sick princes fever from wine he stretched out hand his with scorners.

6 Oui, dans leurs machinations, ils rendent leur cœur semblable à un four qui, même si le boulanger dort toute la nuit, est brûlant au matin comme un feu qui flambe.

For they have brought near like oven heart their in ambush their all the night [is] sleeping baker their morning it [is] burning like a fire of flame.

7 Tous ils sont échauffés comme le four, et ils consument leurs juges; tous leurs rois sont renversés, sans que personne parmi eux s’adresse à moi.

All of them they are hot like oven and they devour rulers their all kings their they have fallen there not [is one who] calls among them to me.

8 Ephraïm se confond parmi les nations, Ephraïm est un gâteau qui n’a pas été retourné.

Ephraim among the peoples he he mixes himself Ephraim he has become a bread cake not turned over.

9 Des étrangers dévorent sa force, sans qu’il s’en aperçoive, la décrépitude l’a atteint sans qu’il s’en doute.

They have consumed strangers strength his and he not he knows also gray hair it has sneaked in on him and he not he knows.

10 L’Orgueil d’Israël est humilié en sa présence; cependant ils ne sont pas revenus à l’Eternel, leur Dieu, et, en dépit de tout, ils ne l’ont pas recherché.

And it testifies [the] pride of Israel in face its and not they have returned to Yahweh God their and not they have sought him for all this.

11 Ephraïm est devenu comme un pigeon étourdi, sans intelligence; ils en appellent à l’Egypte, ils se rendent en Assyrie.

And he has become Ephraim like a dove silly there not [is] heart Egypt they have called Assyria they have gone.

12 Tandis qu’ils prennent ce chemin, je tendrai mon filet sur eux et les y ferai tomber comme des oiseaux du ciel, je les châtierai à l’annonce de leur rassemblement.

Just when they will go I will spread over them net my like [the] bird[s] of the heavens I will bring down them I will chasten them according to a report to assembly their.

13 Malheur à eux, car ils ont erré loin de moi! Ruine sur eux, car ils me sont devenus infidèles! Est-ce à moi de les délivrer, alors qu’ils profèrent des mensonges contre moi?

Woe! to them for they have fled from me devastation [belongs] to them for they have transgressed against me and I I will redeem them and they they have spoken on me lies.

14 Ils ne m’invoquent pas de tout cœur quand ils se lamentent sur leur couche: sont-ils alarmés au sujet du froment et du vin, alors ils s’approchent de moi?

And not they have cried out to me with heart their if they wail on beds their on grain and new wine they assemble themselves they turn aside against me.

15 Cependant moi, en les redressant, je fortifiais leurs bras, mais ils ont conçu de mauvaises pensées à mon égard.

And I I instructed [them] I strengthened arms their and against me they plot evil.

16 S’Ils retournent, ce n’est pas pour s’élever vers Dieu, ils sont tels qu’un arc trompeur. Leurs princes tomberont sous le glaive à cause de leur langue virulente. Voilà ce qui fait d’eux une risée dans le pays d’Egypte.

They turn - not height they have become like a bow of slackness they will fall by the sword leaders their from [the] indignation of tongue their this [will be] mockery their in [the] land of Egypt.
