Matthieu 28
1 Après le sabbat, dès l'aube du premier jour de la semaine, Marie-Madeleine et l'autre Marie allèrent visiter le sépulcre.
The Sabboth daye at even which dauneth the morowe after the Sabboth Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to se the sepulcre.
2 Et voilà qu'il se fit un grand tremblement de terre; car un ange du Seigneur, étant descendu du ciel, vint rouler la pierre, et s'assit dessus.
And beholde ther was a greate erth quake. For the angell of ye lorde descended from heven: and came and rowlled backe the stone from the dore and sate apon it.
3 Son aspect ressemblait à l'éclair, et son vêtement était blanc comme la neige.
His countenaunce was lyke lyghtnynge and his raymet whyte as snowe.
4 A sa vue, les gardes furent frappés d'épouvante, et devinrent comme morts.
And for feare of him the kepers were astunnyed and became as deed men.
5 Et l'ange, s'adressant aux femmes, dit: " Vous, ne craignez pas; car je sais que vous cherchez Jésus qui a été crucifié.
The angell answered and sayde to the wemen feare ye not. I knowe yt ye seke Iesus which was crucified:
6 Il n'est point ici; il est ressuscité comme il l'avait dit. Venez, et voyez le lieu où le Seigneur avait été mis;
he is not here: he is rysen as he sayde. Come and se the place where the lorde was put:
7 et hâtez-vous d'aller dire à ses disciples qu'il est ressuscité des morts. Voici qu'il va se mettre à votre tête en Galilée; là, vous le verrez; je vous l'ai dit. "
and goo quickly and tell his disciples yt he is rysen from deeth. And beholde he will go before you into Galile there ye shall se him. Lo I have tolde you.
8 Aussitôt elles sortirent du sépulcre avec crainte et grande joie, et elles coururent porter la nouvelle aux disciples.
And they departed quickly from the sepulcre with feare and greate Ioye: and did runne to bringe his disciples worde.
9 Et voilà que Jésus se présenta devant elles et leur dit: " Salut! " Elles s'approchèrent, et embrassèrent ses pieds, se prosternant devant lui.
And as they went to tell his disciples: beholde Iesus met them sayinge: All hayle. And they came and held him by the fete and worshipped him.
10 Alors Jésus leur dit: " Ne craignez point; allez dire à mes frères de se rendre en Galilée: c'est là qu'ils me verront. "
The sayde Iesus vnto them: be not afrayde. Go and tell my brethren that they goo in to Galile and there shall they se me.
11 Pendant qu'elles étaient en chemin, quelques-uns des gardes vinrent dans la ville et annoncèrent aux Princes des prêtres tout ce qui était arrivé.
When they were gone: beholde some of the kepers came into the cyte and shewed vnto the hie prestes all the thinges that were hapened.
12 Ceux-ci rassemblèrent les Anciens, et, ayant tenu conseil, ils donnèrent une grosse somme d'argent aux soldats,
And they gaddered them to gedder with the elders and toke counsell and gave large money vnto the soudiers
13 en leur disant: " Publiez que ses disciples sont venus de nuit, et l'ont enlevé pendant que vous dormiez.
sayinge: Saye that his disciples came by nyght and stole him awaye whill ye slept.
14 Et si le gouverneur vient à le savoir, nous l'apaiserons, et nous vous mettrons à couvert. "
And if this come to the rulers cares we wyll pease him and save you harmeles.
15 Les soldats prirent l'argent, et firent ce qu'on leur avait dit; et ce bruit qu'ils répandirent se répète encore aujourd'hui parmi les Juifs.
And they toke the money and dyd as they were taught. And this sayinge is noysed amoge the Iewes vnto this daye.
16 Les onze disciples s'en allèrent en Galilée, sur la montagne que Jésus leur avait désignée.
Then the. xi. disciples went awaye into Galile in to a mountayne where Iesus had appoynted them.
17 En le voyant, ils l'adorèrent, eux qui avaient hésité à croire.
And when they sawe hym they worshipped him. But some of them douted.
18 Et Jésus s'approchant, leur parla ainsi: " Toute puissance m'a été donnée dans le ciel et sur la terre.
And Iesus came and spake vnto them sayinge: All power ys geve vnto me in heve and in erth.
19 Allez donc, enseignez toutes les nations, les baptisant au nom du Père, et du Fils et du Saint-Esprit,
Go therfore and teache all nacions baptysinge them in the name of the father and the sonne and the holy goost:
