Luc 21
1 Jésus, levant les yeux, vit les riches qui mettaient leurs offrandes dans le tronc.
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Il vit aussi une veuve indigente qui y mettait deux petites pièces de monnaie,
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 et il dit: " Je vous le dis, en vérité, cette pauvre veuve a mis plus que tous les autres.
And he said, Truthfully I say unto you, that this poor widow has cast in more than they all:
4 Car tous ceux-là ont donné de leur superflu en offrande à Dieu; mais cette femme a donné de son indigence tout ce qu'elle avait pour vivre. "
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her destitution has cast in all the living that she had.
5 Quelques-uns disant que le temple était orné de belles pierres et de riches offrandes, Jésus dit:
And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 " Des jours viendront où, de tout ce que vous regardez-là, il ne restera pas pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée. "
As for these things which all of you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 Alors ils lui demandèrent: " Maître, quand ces choses arriveront-elles, et à quel signe connaîtra-t-on qu'elles sont près de s'accomplir? "
And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 Jésus répondit: " Prenez garde qu'on ne vous séduise; car plusieurs viendront sous mon nom, disant: Je suis le Christ, et le temps est proche. Ne les suivez donc point.
And he said, Take heed that all of you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go all of you not therefore after them.
9 Et quand vous entendrez parler de guerres et de séditions, ne soyez pas effrayés; il faut que ces choses arrivent d'abord; mais la fin ne viendra pas sitôt. "
But when all of you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Il leur dit alors: " Une nation s'élèvera contre une nation, et un royaume contre un royaume.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 Il y aura de grands tremblements de terre, des pestes et des famines en divers lieux, et dans le ciel d'effrayantes apparitions et des signes extraordinaires.
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 Mais, avant tout cela, on mettra les main sur vous, et l'on vous persécutera; on vous traînera dans les synagogues et dans les prisons, on vous traduira devant les rois et les gouverneurs, à cause de mon nom.
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 Cela vous arrivera, afin que vous me rendiez témoignage.
And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Mettez donc dans vos cœurs de ne point songer d'avance à votre défense;
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what all of you shall answer:
15 car je vous donnerai moi-même une bouche et une sagesse à laquelle tous vos ennemis ne pourront ni répondre, ni résister.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 Vous serez livrés même par vos parents, par vos frères, par vos proches et par vos amis, et ils feront mourir plusieurs d'entre vous.
And all of you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 Vous serez en haine à tous à cause de mon nom.
And all of you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 Cependant pas un cheveu de votre tête ne se perdra;
But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 par votre constance, vous sauverez vos âmes.
In your patience possess all of you your souls.
20 Mais lorsque vous verrez des armées investir Jérusalem, sachez alors que sa désolation est proche.
And when all of you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Alors que ceux qui seront dans la Judée s'enfuient dans les montagnes, que ceux qui seront dans la ville en sortent, et que ceux qui seront dans les campagnes n'entrent pas dans la ville.
Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter therein.
22 Car ce seront des jours de châtiment, pour l'accomplissement de tout ce qui est écrit.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Malheur aux femmes qui seront enceintes ou qui allaiteront en ces jours-là, car la détresse sera grande sur la terre, grande la colère contre ce peuple.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 Ils tomberont sous le tranchant du glaive; ils seront emmenés captifs parmi toutes les nations, et Jérusalem sera foulée aux pieds par les Gentils, jusqu'à ce que les temps des Gentils soient accomplis.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 Et il y aura des signes dans le soleil, dans la lune et dans les étoiles, et, sur la terre, les nations seront dans l'angoisse et la consternation, au bruit de la mer et des flots;
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 les hommes séchant de frayeur dans l'attente de ce qui doit arriver à la terre entière; car les puissances des cieux seront ébranlées.
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 Alors on verra le Fils de l'homme venant dans une nuée avec une grande puissance et une grande gloire.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Quand ces choses commenceront à arriver, redressez-vous et relevez la tête, parce que votre délivrance approche. "
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.
29 Et il leur dit cette comparaison: " Voyez le figuier et tous les arbres:
And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 dès qu'ils se sont mis à pousser, vous savez de vous-mêmes, en les voyant, que l'été est proche.
When they now shoot forth, all of you see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 De même, quand vous verrez ces choses arriver, sachez que le royaume de Dieu est proche.
So likewise all of you, when all of you see these things come to pass, know all of you that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Je vous le dis, en vérité, cette génération ne passera point, que tout ne soit accompli.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words (logos) shall not pass away.
34 Prenez garde à vous-mêmes, de peur que vos cœurs ne s'appesantissent par l'excès du manger et du boire, et par les soucis de la vie, et que ce jour ne fonde sur vous à l'improviste;
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with worldly excess, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unexpectedly.
35 car il viendra comme un filet sur tous ceux qui habitent la face de la terre entière.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Veillez donc et priez sans cesse, afin que vous soyez trouvés dignes d'échapper à tous ces maux qui doivent arriver, et de paraître debout devant le Fils de l'homme. "
Watch all of you therefore, and pray always, that all of you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Pendant le jour, Jésus enseignait dans le temple, et il en sortait pour aller passer la nuit sur la montagne qu'on appelle des Oliviers.
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 Et tout le peuple, dès le matin, venait à lui pour l'écouter dans le temple.
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, in order to hear him.
