1 Et le troisième jour, il se fit des noces à Cana en Galilée; et la mère de Jésus y était.
And the thryde daye was ther a mariage in Cana a cite of Galile: and the mother of Iesus was there.
2 Jésus fut aussi convié aux noces avec ses disciples.
And Iesus was called also and his disciples vnto the mariage.
3 Le vin étant venu à manquer, la mère de Jésus lui dit: " Ils n'ont point de vin. "
And when the wyne fayled the mother of Iesus sayde vnto him: they have no wyne.
4 Jésus lui répondit: " Femme, qu'est-ce que cela pour moi et vous? Mon heure n'est pas encore venue. "
Iesus sayde vnto her: woman what have I to do with the? myne houre is not yet come.
5 Sa mère dit aux serviteurs: " Faites tout ce qu'il vous dira. "
His mother sayde vnto the ministres: whatsoever he sayeth vnto you do it.
6 Or, il y avait là six urnes de pierre destinées aux ablutions des Juifs, et contenant chacune deux ou trois mesures.
And therwere stondynge theare sixe water pottes of stone after ye maner of the purifyinge of ye Iewes contaynynge two or thre fyrkins a pece.
7 Jésus leur dit: " Remplissez d'eau ces urnes. " Et ils les remplirent jusqu'au haut.
And Iesus sayde vnto them: fyll the water pottes with water. And they fylled them vp to the brym.
8 Et il leur dit: " Puisez maintenant, et portez-en au maître du festin; " et ils en portèrent.
And he sayde vnto them: drawe out now and beare vnto the governer of the feaste. And they bare it.
9 Dès que le maître du festin eut goûté l'eau changée en vin (il ne savait pas d'où venait ce vin, mais les serviteurs qui avaient puisé l'eau le savaient), il interpella l'époux,
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was turned vnto wyne and knewe not whence it was (but the ministres which drue the water knew). He called the brydegrome
10 et lui dit: " Tout homme sert d'abord le bon vin, et, après qu'on a bu abondamment, le moins bon; mais toi, tu as gardé le bon jusqu'à ce moment. " —
and sayde vnto him. All men at the beginnynge set forth good wyne and when men be dronke then that which is worsse. But thou hast kept backe the good wyne vntyll now.
11 Tel fut, à Cana de Galilée, le premier des miracles que fit Jésus, et il manifesta sa gloire, et ses disciples crurent en lui.
This beginnynge of miracles dyd Iesus in Cana of Galile and shewed his glory and his disciples beleved on him.
12 Après cela, il descendit à Capharnaüm avec sa mère, ses frères et ses disciples, et ils n'y demeurèrent que peu de jours.
After that he descended in to Capernaum and his mother and his brethren and his disciples: but contynued not manye dayes there.
13 Or la Pâque des Juifs était proche, et Jésus monta à Jérusalem.
And the Iewes ester was even at honde and Iesus went vp to Ierusalem
14 Il trouva dans le temple les marchands de bœufs, de brebis, et de colombes, et les changeurs assis.
and founde syttynge in the temple those that solde oxen and shepe and doves and chaungers of money.
15 Et ayant fait un petit fouet avec des cordes, il les chassa tous du temple, avec les brebis et les bœufs; il jeta par terre l'argent des changeurs, et renversa leurs tables.
And he made a scourge of small cordes and drave them all out of the temple with the shepe and oxen and powred oute the changers money and overthrue the tables
16 Et il dit aux vendeurs de colombes: " Enlevez cela d'ici; ne faites pas de la maison de mon Père une maison de trafic. "
and sayde vnto them that solde doves: Have these thinges hence and make not my fathers housse an housse of marchaundyse.
17 Les disciples se ressouvinrent alors qu'il est écrit: " Le zèle de votre maison me dévore. "
And his disciples remembred how yt it was wrytten: the zele of thyne housse hath even eaten me.
18 Les Juifs prenant la parole lui dirent: " Quel signe nous montrez-vous, pour agir de la sorte? "
Then answered the Iewes and sayde vnto him: what token shewest thou vnto vs seynge that thou dost these thinges?
19 Jésus leur répondit: " Détruisez ce temple et je le relèverai en trois jours. "
Iesus answered and sayd vnto them: destroye this temple and in thre dayes I will reare it vp agayne.
20 Les Juifs repartirent: " C'est en quarante-six ans que ce temple a été bâti, et vous, en trois jours vous le relèverez! "
Then sayde the Iewes: xlvi. yeares was this temple abuyldinge: and wylt thou reare it vp in thre dayes?
21 Mais lui, il parlait du temple de son corps.
But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 Lors donc qu'il fut ressuscité d'entre les morts, ses disciples se souvinrent qu'il avait dit cela, et ils crurent à l'Ecriture et à la parole que Jésus avait dite.
Assone therfore as he was rysen from deeth agayne his disciples remembred that he thus sayde. And they beleved the scripture and the wordes which Iesus had sayde.
23 Pendant que Jésus était à Jérusalem, à la fête de Pâque, beaucoup voyant les miracles qu'il faisait, crurent en son nom.
When he was at Ierusalem at ester in the feaste many beleved on his name when they sawe his miracles which he dyd.
24 Mais Jésus ne se fiait point à eux, parce qu'il les connaissait tous,
But Iesus put not him selfe in their hondes because he knewe all men
25 et qu'il n'avait pas besoin qu'on lui rendit témoignage d'aucun homme; car il savait, lui, ce qu'il y avait dans l'homme.
and neded not that eny man shuld testify of man. For he knewe what was in man.
