1 Chroniques 27
1 Les enfants d'Israël selon leur nombre, chefs de familles, chefs de milliers et de centaines, officiers au service du roi pour tout ce qui concernait les divisions, celles qui arrivaient et celles qui partaient, mois par mois, pendant tous les mois de l'année, — chaque division étant de vingt-quatre mille hommes, — étaient:
Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 A la tête de la première division, pour le premier mois, était Jesboam, fils de Zabdiel, et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes.
Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 Il était d'entre les fils de Pharès, et il commandait tous les chefs des troupes du premier mois. —
He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4 A la tête de la division du deuxième mois était Dudia, l'Ahohite; Macelloth, le prince, était un chef de sa division; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 Le chef de la troisième division, pour le troisième mois, était Banaïas, fils du prêtre Joïada, chef; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 Ce Banaïas était le héros des Trente, à la tête des Trente; Amizabad, son fils, était un chef de sa division. —
This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 Le quatrième, pour le quatrième mois, était Asaël, frère de Joab, et, après lui, Zabadias, son fils; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 Le cinquième, pour le cinquième mois, était le chef Samaoth, l'Izrahite; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 Le sixième, pour le sixième mois, était Hira, fils d'Accès, de Thécua; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 Le septième, pour le septième mois, était Hellès, le Phallonite, des fils d'Ephraïm; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 Le huitième, pour le huitième mois, était Sobochaï, le Husathite, de la famille des Zarahites; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
12 Le neuvième, pour le neuvième mois, était Abiézer, d'Anathoth, des fils de Benjamin; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 Le dixième, pour le dixième mois, était Maraï, de Nétopha, de la famille des Zaharites; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 Le onzième, pour le onzième mois, était Banaïas, de Pharathon des fils d'Ephraïm; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 Le douzième, pour le douzième mois, était Holdaï, de Nétopha, de la famille d'Othoniel; et il y avait dans sa division vingt-quatre mille hommes. —
The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
16 Et il y avait à la tête des tribus d'Israël: des Rubénites: Eliézer, fils de Zéchri; des Siméonites: Saphatias, fils de Maacha;
Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites, Eliezer the son of Zichri was the ruler; of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah;
17 des Lévites: Hasabias, fils de Camuel; de la famille d'Aaron: Sadoc;
of Levi, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; of Aaron, Zadok;
18 de Juda: Eliu, frère de David; d'Issachar, Amri, fils de Michaël;
of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
19 de Zabulon: Jesmaïas, fils d'Abdias; de Nephtali: Jérimoth, fils d'Ozriel;
of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel;
20 des fils d'Ephraïm: Osée, fils d'Ozaziu; de la demi-tribu de Manassé: Joël, fils de Phadaïas;
of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah; of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 de la demi-tribu de Manassé, en Galaad: Jaddo, fils de Zacharias; de Benjamin: Jasiel, fils d'Abner;
of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 de Dan: Ezrihel, fils de Jéroham. Ce sont les princes des tribus d'Israël.
of Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel.
23 David ne fit point le dénombrement de ceux qui étaient âgés de vingt ans et au-dessous, car Yahweh avait dit qu'il multiplierait Israël comme les étoiles du ciel.
But David didn’t take the number of them from twenty years old and under, because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like the stars of the sky.
24 Joab, fils de Sarvia, avait commencé le dénombrement, mais il ne l'acheva pas, la colère de Yahweh étant venue à cause de cela sur Israël, et le résultat n'en fut pas porté sur les rôles des chroniques du roi David.
Joab the son of Zeruiah began to take a census, but didn’t finish; and wrath came on Israel for this. The number wasn’t put into the account in the chronicles of King David.
25 Asmoth, fils d'Adiel, était préposé sur les trésors du roi; Jonathan, fils d'Ozias, sur les trésors dans les champs, dans les villes, dans les villages et dans les tours;
Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26 Ezri, fils de Chélub, sur les ouvriers des champs qui cultivaient la terre;
Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 Séméï, de Rama, sur les vignes; Zabdias, de Sapham, sur les provisions de vin dans les vignes;
Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28 Balanan, de Géder, sur les oliviers et les sycomores dans la Séphéla; Joas, sur les provisions d'huile;
Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 Séthraï, de Saron, sur les bœufs qui paissaient en Saron; Saphat, fils d'Adli, sur les bœufs dans les vallées;
Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 Ubil, l'Ismaélite, sur les chameaux; Jadias, de Méronath, sur les ânesses;
Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31 Jaziz, l'Agarénien, sur les brebis. Tous ceux-là étaient intendants des biens du roi David.
All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32 Jonathan, oncle de David, était conseiller; c'était un homme de sens et de savoir. Jahiel, fils de Hachamoni, était avec les fils du roi.
Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33 Achitophel était conseiller du roi, et Chusaï, l'Archéen, était ami du roi;
Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34 après Achitophel, Joïada, fils de Banaïas, et Abiathar. Joab était chef de l'armée du roi.
After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
