Luc 20
1 Un de ces jours-là, comme Jésus enseignait le peuple dans le temple, et qu’il annonçait la bonne nouvelle, les Princes des prêtres et les scribes survinrent avec les Anciens,
And it came to pass on one of the days (of those *k) when is teaching He the people in the temple and evangelising came up the (chief priests *NK+o) and the scribes with the elders
2 et lui dirent: « Dites-nous par quelle autorité tu fais ces choses, ou qui t’ as donné cette autorité? »
and spoke saying to Him: do tell us by what authority these things You do or who is the [one] having given to You authority this?
3 Jésus leur répondit: « Moi aussi je vous ferai une question. Répondez-moi.
Answering now He said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also (one *k) thing, and do tell Me:
4 Le baptême de Jean était-il du ciel, ou des hommes? »
The baptism of John from heaven was it or from men?
5 Mais ils faisaient entre eux cette réflexion: « Si nous répondons: Du ciel, il nous dira: Pourquoi n’avez-vous pas cru en lui?
And they reasoned among themselves saying that If we shall say: From heaven, He will say; Because of why (therefore *K) not did you believe in him?
6 Et si nous répondons: Des hommes, tout le peuple nous lapidera, car il est persuadé que Jean était un prophète. »
If however we shall say; From men, the people (all *N+kO) will stone us; persuaded for they are John a prophet to be.
7 Ils lui répondirent donc qu’ils ne savaient d’où il était.
And they answered not to know from where.
8 « Et Moi, leur dit Jésus, je ne vous dis pas non plus par quelle autorité je fais ces choses. »
And Jesus said to them; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I am doing.
9 Alors il se mit à dire au peuple cette parabole: « Un homme planta une vigne, et la loua à des vignerons; puis il s’en alla pour un temps assez long en pays étranger.
He began then to the people to speak parable this: A man (certain *NK) planted a vineyard and rented it to farmers and went abroad a time long.
10 La saison étant venue, il envoya un serviteur aux vignerons, afin qu’ils lui donnassent du produit de la vigne. Mais eux, l’ayant battu, le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
And (in *k) [in the] season he sent to the farmers a servant that from the fruit of the vineyard (they will give *N+kO) to him; But the farmers sent away him having beaten [him] empty-handed.
11 Il envoya encore un autre serviteur; mais, l’ayant aussi battu et traité indignement, ils le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
And he proceeded another to send a servant; but him him having beaten and having dishonored they sent away empty-handed.
12 Il en envoya un troisième; mais, lui aussi, les vignerons le blessèrent et le jetèrent dehors.
And he proceeded a third to send; They then also him having wounded they cast out.
13 Alors le maître de la vigne se dit: Que ferai-je?’enverrai mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être qu’en le voyant ils auront pour lui du respect.
Said then the master of the vineyard; What shall I do? I will send the son of mine the beloved; perhaps him (having seen *K) they will respect.
14 Mais lorsque les vignerons le virent, ils se dirent entre eux: Celui-ci est l’héritier, tuons-le, afin que l’héritage soit à nous.
Having seen now him the farmers were reasoning among (one another *N+kO) saying; This is the heir; (come *K) let us kill him so that ours may become the inheritance.
15 Et l’ayant jeté hors de la vigne, ils le tuèrent. Que leur fera donc le maître de la vigne?
And having cast forth him outside the vineyard they killed [him]. What therefore will do to them the master of the vineyard?
16 Il viendra et exterminera ces vignerons, et donnera sa vigne à d’autres. » Ce qu’ayant entendu, ils dirent: « A Dieu ne plaise! »
He will come and he will destroy farmers these and will give the vineyard to others. Having heard [it] then they said; Never would it be!
17 Mais, fixant le regard sur eux, Jésus dit: « Qu’est-ce donc que cette parole de l’Ecriture: La pierre qu’ont rejetée ceux qui bâtissaient est devenue la pierre angulaire?
But having looked at them He said; What then is that written this: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become into [the] head of [the] corner’?
18 Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre sera brisé; et celui sur qui elle tombera, sera écrasé. »
Everyone falling on that [very] stone will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind into powder him.
19 Les Princes des prêtres et les scribes cherchèrent à se saisir de lui à l’heure même; mais la crainte du peuple les retint, car ils comprenaient bien que c’était pour eux que Jésus avait dit cette parabole.
And sought the scribes and the chief priests to lay on Him hands in that hour and they feared the people; they perceived for that against them He was speaking parable this.
20 Ils ne le perdirent donc pas de vue, et lui envoyèrent des gens apostés qui feignaient d’être justes, pour le surprendre dans ses paroles, afin de le livrer à l’autorité et au pouvoir du gouverneur.
And having watched [Him] they sent spies feigning themselves righteous to be, that they may catch Him in talk, (in order *N+kO) to deliver Him to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
21 Ces gens l’interrogèrent en ces termes: « Maître, nous savons que tu parles et enseignes avec droiture, et sans faire acception de personne, mais que tu enseignes la voie de Dieu dans la vérité.
And they questioned Him saying; Teacher, we know that rightly You speak and You teach and not You receive [any] person but on the basis of truth the way of God teach.
22 Nous est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César? »
Is it lawful (for us *N+kO) to Caesar tribute to give or not?
23 Jésus, connaissant leur fourberie, leur dit: « Pourquoi me tentez-vous?
having perceived however of them the craftiness He said to them (why *KO) (me do you test; *K)
24 Montrez-moi un denier. De qui porte-t-il l’effigie et le nom? » Ils lui répondirent: « De César. »
(do show *N+kO) Me a denarius; Of whom has it [the] image and inscription? (Those *N+KO) And they said; Caesar’s.
25 Et il leur dit: « Rendez donc à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu. »
And He said (to *no) (them; *N+kO) Therefore do give back the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
26 Ainsi ils ne purent le prendre en défaut sur aucune parole devant le peuple; et admirant sa réponse, ils gardèrent le silence.
And not they were able to catch Him in (His *NK+o) declaration before the people, and having marveled at the answer of Him they became silent.
27 Quelques-uns des Sadducéens, qui nient la résurrection, s’approchèrent alors et l’interrogèrent:
Having approached then some of the Sadducees, the ones (denying *NK+o) a resurrection not being, they questioned Him
28 « Maître, lui dirent-ils, Moïse nous a donné cette loi: Si un homme, ayant une femme, meurt sans laisser d’enfants, que son frère prenne sa femme, et suscite des enfants à son frère.
saying; Teacher, Moses wrote to us: if anyone’s brother shall die having a wife and he childless (shall be, *N+KO) that shall take the brother of him the wife and shall raise up seed to the brother of him.
29 Or, il y avait sept frères; le premier prit une femme et mourut sans enfants.
Seven therefore brothers there were; and the first having taken a wife died childless,
30 Le second prit sa femme, et mourut aussi sans enfants.
and (took *K) the second (wife and this died childless *K)
31 Le troisième la prit ensuite, et de même tous les sept, et ils moururent sans laisser d’enfants.
and the third took her (likewise *o) likewise then also the seven not did leave children and died.
32 Après eux tous, la femme mourut aussi.
Finally (now of all *K) also the woman died.
33 Duquel donc, au temps de la résurrection, sera-t-elle la femme, car elle l’a été de tous les sept? »
(The woman *no) therefore in the resurrection, of which of them does she become wife? For the seven had her as wife.
And (answering *k) said to them Jesus; The sons of the age this marry and (are given in marriage, *N+kO) (aiōn g165)
35 mais ceux qui ont été trouvés dignes d’avoir part au siècle à venir et à la résurrection des morts, ne prennent pas de femme et n’ont pas de mari; (aiōn g165)
those however having been considered worthy of the age that [one] to obtain and of the resurrection from [the] dead neither marry nor (are given in marriage; *N+k+o) (aiōn g165)
36 aussi bien ne peuvent-ils plus mourir, puisqu’ils sont en comme les anges, et qu’ils sont fils de Dieu, étant fils de la résurrection.
(neither *N+kO) for to die any more are they able, like [the] angels for they are, and sons they are of God of the resurrection sons being.
37 Mais que les morts ressuscitent, c’est ce que Moïse lui-même a fait connaître dans le passage du Buisson, lorsqu’il nomme le Seigneur: Le Dieu d’Abraham, le Dieu d’Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob.
for however are raised the dead, even Moses showed at the bush when he names [the] Lord the God of Abraham and (the *k) God of Isaac and (the *k) God of Jacob.’
38 Or il n’est pas Dieu des morts, mais des vivants; car tous sont vivants devant lui. »
God now not He is of [the] dead but of [the] living; all for to Him live.
39 Quelques-uns des scribes, prenant la parole, lui dirent: « Maître, tu as bien parlé. »
Answering now some of the scribes said; Teacher, well you have spoken.
40 Et ils n’osaient plus lui poser aucune question.
no longer no longer (then *N+kO) were they daring to ask Him no [thing].
41 Jésus leur dit: « Comment dit-on que le Christ est fils de David?
He said then to them; How do they declare the Christ to be David's Son
42 David lui-même dit dans le livre des Psaumes: Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite,
(and *ko) Himself (for *no) David says in [the] book of Psalms: Said (the *ko) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit at [the] right hand of Me
43 jusqu’à ce que je fasse de vos ennemis l’escabeau de vos pieds. —
until when I may place the enemies of You [as] a footstool of the feet of You.
44 David l’appelle donc Seigneur; comment peut-il être son fils? »
David therefore Lord Him calls, and how of him son is He?
45 Tandis que tout le peuple l’écoutait, il dit à ses disciples:
When are listening now all the people He said to the disciples of Him;
46 « Gardez-vous des scribes, qui se plaisent à se promener en longues robes; qui aiment à être salués dans les places publiques, à occuper les premiers sièges dans les synagogues et les premières places dans les festins:
do beware of the scribes who are desiring to walk in long robes and loving greetings in the marketplaces and first seats in the synagogues and first places in the banquets,
47 ces gens qui dévorent les maisons des veuves, et font pour l’apparence de longues prières, subiront une condamnation plus sévère. »
who devour the houses of widows and as a pretext at great length pray; These will receive more excessive condemnation.
