Marc 3
1 Il entra de nouveau dans la synagogue, où se trouvait un homme dont la main était desséchée.
And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.
2 Ils le surveillaient, pour savoir s'il allait le guérir le jour du sabbat, afin de l'accuser.
And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.
3 Il dit à l'homme dont la main était desséchée: « Lève-toi. »
And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”
4 Il leur dit: « Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal? De sauver une vie ou de tuer? » Mais ils gardèrent le silence.
And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.
5 Après les avoir regardés avec colère, attristé par l'endurcissement de leur cœur, il dit à l'homme: « Étends ta main. » Il l'étendit, et sa main fut rendue aussi saine que l'autre.
And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.
6 Les pharisiens sortirent, et aussitôt ils conspirèrent avec les hérodiens contre lui, afin de le faire périr.
Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.
7 Jésus se retira vers la mer avec ses disciples. Une grande foule le suivit, venant de la Galilée, de la Judée,
But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,
8 de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée, au-delà du Jourdain, et des environs de Tyr et de Sidon. Une grande foule, apprenant quelles grandes choses il faisait, vint à lui.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.
9 Il dit à ses disciples de laisser une petite barque près de lui, à cause de la foule, afin qu'elle ne le presse pas.
And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.
10 Car il avait guéri beaucoup de gens, de sorte que tous ceux qui avaient des maladies se pressaient contre lui pour le toucher.
For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.
11 Les esprits impurs, dès qu'ils le voyaient, se prosternaient devant lui et s'écriaient: « Tu es le Fils de Dieu! »
And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,
12 Il leur recommanda sévèrement de ne pas le faire connaître.
“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.
13 Il monta sur la montagne, appela à lui ceux qu'il voulait, et ils allèrent à lui.
And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.
14 Il en établit douze, afin qu'ils fussent avec lui, et qu'il les envoyât prêcher
And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.
15 et avoir le pouvoir de guérir les maladies et de chasser les démons:
And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:
16 Simon, à qui il donna le nom de Pierre;
and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;
17 Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, frère de Jacques, qu'il appela Boanerges, ce qui signifie Fils du tonnerre;
and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’
18 André, Philippe, Barthélemy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, fils d'Alphée, Thaddée, Simon le Zélote;
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 et Judas Iscariote, qui le livra aussi. Puis il entra dans une maison.
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 La foule se rassembla de nouveau, de sorte qu'elle ne put même pas manger du pain.
And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Ses amis, l'ayant appris, se mirent à le saisir, car ils disaient: « Il est fou. »
And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”
22 Les scribes qui descendaient de Jérusalem disaient: « Il a Béelzébul, » et: « C'est par le prince des démons qu'il chasse les démons. »
And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”
23 Il les convoqua et leur dit en paraboles: Comment Satan peut-il chasser Satan?
And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume ne peut subsister.
For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 Si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison ne peut subsister.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 Si Satan s'est élevé contre lui-même, et s'il est divisé, il ne peut subsister, mais il a une fin.
And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.
27 Mais nul ne peut entrer dans la maison de l'homme fort pour piller, s'il ne lie d'abord l'homme fort; alors il pillera sa maison.
No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.
28 « En vérité, je vous le dis, tous les péchés des descendants de l'homme seront pardonnés, y compris leurs blasphèmes;
Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.
30 -parce qu'ils disaient: « Il a un esprit impur. »
For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Sa mère et ses frères arrivèrent, et, se tenant dehors, ils l'envoyèrent chercher.
And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 Une foule était assise autour de lui, et on lui dit: « Voici ta mère, tes frères et tes sœurs qui te cherchent dehors. »
And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”
33 Il leur répondit: « Qui sont ma mère et mes frères? »
And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”
34 Regardant ceux qui étaient assis autour de lui, il dit: « Voici ma mère et mes frères!
And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.
35 Car quiconque fait la volonté de Dieu est mon frère, ma sœur et ma mère. »
For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
