Luc 18
1 Il leur dit aussi, en parabole, qu'ils devaient toujours prier et ne pas se décourager,
He was speaking then (and *ko) a parable to them about it needing always to pray (they *no) and not to lose heart
2 en disant: « Il y avait dans une certaine ville un juge qui ne craignait pas Dieu et ne respectait pas les hommes.
saying; A judge certain there was in a certain city God not fearing and man not respecting.
3 Il y avait dans cette ville une veuve qui venait souvent le trouver en disant: « Défends-moi contre mon adversaire! ».
A widow then there was in the city that and she was coming to him saying; do avenge me of the adversary of mine.
4 Il ne voulut pas pendant quelque temps; mais ensuite il se dit en lui-même: 'Bien que je ne craigne pas Dieu et que je ne respecte pas l'homme,
And not (he was desiring [to do] *N+kO) for a time. afterward however he said within himself; If even God not I fear (nor *N+kO) man respect,
5 cependant, parce que cette veuve m'importune, je la défendrai, ou bien elle me fatiguera par sa venue continuelle.'"
because yet it occasioning me trouble widow this I will avenge her, so that not to end coming she may exhaust me.
6 L'Éternel dit: « Écoutez ce que dit le juge inique.
Said then the Lord; do hear what the judge unrighteous says;
7 Dieu ne va-t-il pas tirer vengeance de ses élus qui crient vers lui jour et nuit, et qui pourtant font preuve de patience à leur égard?
And God certainly not (may do *N+kO) the avenging of the elect of Him the [ones] crying out (to *k) (to Him *N+kO) day and night, and (be patient *N+kO) in regard to them?
8 Je vous dis qu'il les vengera bientôt. Cependant, quand le Fils de l'homme viendra, trouvera-t-il la foi sur la terre? »
I say to you that He will carry out the avenging of them with speed. Nevertheless the Son of Man having come surely not will He find faith on the earth?
9 Il dit aussi cette parabole à certaines personnes qui étaient convaincues de leur propre justice et qui méprisaient tous les autres:
He spoke now also to some having trusted in themselves that they are righteous and (despising *NK+o) the others parable this.
10 Deux hommes montèrent au temple pour prier, l'un était pharisien, l'autre publicain.
Men two went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 Le pharisien se tenait debout et priait seul ainsi: Dieu, je te rends grâces de ce que je ne suis pas comme le reste des hommes, extorqueurs, injustes, adultères, ni même comme ce publicain.
The Pharisee having stood toward himself these things was praying; O God, I thank You that not I am (like *NK+o) the rest of the men — swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers — or even like this tax collector.
12 Je jeûne deux fois par semaine. Je donne la dîme de tout ce que je reçois'.
I fast twice in the week, I tithe all things as much as I gain.
13 Mais le publicain, qui se tenait à l'écart, ne levait même pas les yeux au ciel, mais il se frappait la poitrine en disant: « Dieu, aie pitié de moi, qui suis un pécheur.
(and *ko) (but *no) the tax collector afar off having stood not was willing not even the eyes to lift up to heaven but was striking (into *k) the breast (of him *NK+o) saying: O God, do be merciful to me to the sinner!
14 Je vous le dis, celui-ci est descendu chez lui justifié plutôt que l'autre; car quiconque s'élève sera abaissé, mais celui qui s'abaisse sera élevé. »
I say to you; went down this one justified to the house of him (rather than *k) (compared with *n+o) (that [one]. *N+kO) For everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, the [one] however humbling himself will be exalted.
15 Elles lui apportaient aussi leurs bébés, afin qu'il les touche. Mais les disciples, voyant cela, les réprimandèrent.
They were bringing then to Him also the infants that them He may touch; having seen however the disciples (were rebuking *N+kO) them.
16 Jésus les appela et dit: « Laissez les petits enfants venir à moi et ne les en empêchez pas, car le Royaume de Dieu appartient à ceux qui leur ressemblent.
But Jesus (called *N+kO) them (speaking; *N+kO) do permit the little children to come to Me and not do forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 En vérité, je vous le dis, quiconque ne reçoit pas le Royaume de Dieu comme un petit enfant, n'y entrera pas. »
Amen I say to you; who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) not shall receive the kingdom of God as a child, certainly not shall enter into it.
18 Un certain chef lui demanda: « Bon maître, que dois-je faire pour avoir en héritage la vie éternelle? » (aiōnios g166)
And asked a certain Him ruler saying; Teacher good, what having done life eternal will I inherit? (aiōnios g166)
19 Jésus lui demanda: « Pourquoi m'appelles-tu bon? Personne n'est bon, sauf un: Dieu.
Said then to him Jesus; Why Me you call good? No [one is] good only except one God.
20 Tu connais les commandements: « Ne commets pas d'adultère », « Ne commets pas de meurtre », « Ne vole pas », « Ne porte pas de faux témoignage », « Honore ton père et ta mère ».
The commandments You know: Not shall you commit adultery, not shall you murder, not shall you steal, not shall you bear false witness, do honor the father of you and the mother (of you. *k)
21 Il répondit: « J'ai observé toutes ces choses depuis ma jeunesse. »
And he said; These all (I kept *N+kO) from [the] youth (of mine. *ko)
22 Jésus, ayant entendu cela, lui dit: « Il te manque encore une chose. Vendez tout ce que vous avez et distribuez-le aux pauvres. Vous aurez alors un trésor dans le ciel; puis venez, suivez-moi. »
Having heard then (these things *k) Jesus said to him; Yet one thing to you is lacking: All as much as you have do sell and do distribute to [the] poor, and you will have treasure in (the *no) (heavens; *N+kO) and come, do follow Me.
23 Mais quand il entendit ces choses, il devint très triste, car il était très riche.
And having heard these things very sorrowful (he became; *N+kO) he was for rich extremely.
24 Jésus, voyant qu'il était très triste, dit: « Comme il est difficile à ceux qui ont des richesses d'entrer dans le Royaume de Dieu!
Having seen then him Jesus sorrowful became saying; How difficult [for] those riches having [when] into the kingdom of God (they enter. *N+kO)
25 Car il est plus facile à un chameau d'entrer par le trou d'une aiguille qu'à un riche d'entrer dans le Royaume de Dieu. »
Easier for it is a camel through (an eye of a needle *N+kO) to go than a rich man into the kingdom of God to enter.
26 Ceux qui l'entendaient disaient: « Alors, qui peut être sauvé? »
Said then those having heard; Then who is able to be saved?
27 Mais il a dit: « Ce qui est impossible aux hommes est possible à Dieu. »
But He said; The [things] impossible with men possible with God are.
28 Pierre dit: « Regarde, nous avons tout quitté et nous t'avons suivi. »
Said then Peter; Behold we ourselves (having abandoned *N+kO) ([our] own [things] *N+kO) (and *k) followed You.
29 Il leur dit: « En vérité, je vous le dis, il n'y a personne qui ait quitté sa maison, ou sa femme, ou ses frères, ou ses parents, ou ses enfants, à cause du Royaume de Dieu,
And He said to them; Amen I say to you that no [one] there is who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,
31 Il prit les douze à part et leur dit: « Voici que nous montons à Jérusalem, et tout ce qui est écrit par les prophètes au sujet du Fils de l'homme s'accomplira.
Having taken aside then the Twelve He said to them; Behold we go up to (Jerusalem, *N+kO) and will be accomplished all things which written through the prophets about the Son of Man;
32 Car il sera livré aux païens, on se moquera de lui, on l'insultera, on crachera sur lui.
He will be betrayed for to the Gentiles and will be mocked and will be insulted and will be spit upon,
33 On le flagellera et on le fera mourir. Le troisième jour, il ressuscitera. »
And having flogged [Him] they will kill Him, and on the day third He will rise again.
34 Ils n'ont rien compris à ces choses. Cette parole leur était cachée, et ils ne comprenaient pas les choses qui étaient dites.
And they themselves no [thing] of these things understood, and was declaration this hidden from them, and neither they were knowing the [things] being spoken.
35 Comme il approchait de Jéricho, un aveugle était assis au bord du chemin et mendiait.
It came to pass then in the drawing near by Him to Jericho a blind [man] certain was sitting beside the road (begging. *N+kO)
36 Entendant une foule qui passait, il demanda ce que cela signifiait.
Having heard now a crowd passing along he was asking what (maybe *o) would be this.
37 On lui dit que Jésus de Nazareth passait par là.
They told then to him that Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.
38 Il s'écria: « Jésus, fils de David, aie pitié de moi! »
And he called out saying; Jesus Son of David, do have mercy on me.
39 Ceux qui conduisaient le chemin le réprimandèrent pour qu'il se taise; mais il cria encore plus fort: « Fils de David, aie pitié de moi! »
And those going before were rebuking him that (he may be silent. *N+kO) He himself however much more was crying out; Son of David, do have mercy on me.
40 S'étant arrêté, Jésus ordonna qu'on l'amène à lui. S'étant approché, il lui demanda:
Having stopped then Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. When was approaching then he He asked him;
41 « Que veux-tu que je fasse? » Il a dit: « Seigneur, que je puisse voir à nouveau. »
(saying *ko) What to you desire you I may do? And he said; Lord, that I may receive sight.
42 Jésus lui dit: « Recouvre la vue. Ta foi t'a guéri. »
And Jesus said to him; do receive sight: The faith of you has healed you.
43 Aussitôt, il recouvra la vue et le suivit, en glorifiant Dieu. Tout le peuple, en le voyant, loua Dieu.
And immediately he received sight and was following Him glorifying God. And all the people having seen [it] gave praise to God.
