Genèse 5

1 Voici le livre des générations d'Adam. Le jour où Dieu créa l'homme, il le fit à la ressemblance de Dieu.

Thys is the boke of the generacion of man In the daye when God created man and made hym after the symilytude of god

2 Il les créa homme et femme, et les bénit. Le jour où ils furent créés, il leur donna le nom d'Adam.

Male and female made he the and called their names man in the daye when they were created.

3 Adam vécut cent trente ans; il engendra un fils à sa ressemblance, selon son image, et il lui donna le nom de Seth.

And when Adam was an hundred and thyrty yere old he begat a sonne after hys lycknesse and symilytude: and called hys name Seth.

4 Les jours d'Adam, après qu'il eut engendré Seth, furent de huit cents ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And the dayes of Adam after he begat Seth were eyght hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

5 Tous les jours qu'Adam vécut furent de neuf cent trente ans, puis il mourut.

and all the dayes of Adam which he lyved were. ix. hundred and. xxx. yere and then he dyed.

6 Seth vécut cent cinq ans, puis devint le père d'Enosh.

And Seth lyved an hundred and. v. yeres and begat Enos.

7 Seth vécut, après avoir engendré Enosh, huit cent sept ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And after he had begot Enos he lyved. viij. hundred and. vij. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

8 Tous les jours de Seth furent de neuf cent douze ans, puis il mourut.

And all the dayes of Seth were. ix. hundred and. xij. yere and dyed.

9 Enosh vécut quatre-vingt-dix ans, et il engendra Kenan.

And Enos lyved. lxxxx. yere and begat kenan.

10 Enosh vécut, après avoir engendré Kénan, huit cent quinze ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And Enos after he begat kenan lyved viij. hundred and. xv. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

11 Tous les jours d'Énosh furent de neuf cent cinq ans, puis il mourut.

and all the dayes of Enos were. ix hundred and. v. yere and than he dyed.

12 Kenan vécut soixante-dix ans, puis il engendra Mahalalel.

And kenan lyued. lxx. yere and begat Mahalaliel.

13 Kenan vécut, après avoir engendré Mahalalel, huit cent quarante ans; il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And kenan after he had begot Mahalaliel lyved. viij. hundred and. xl. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

14 Tous les jours de Kenan furent de neuf cent dix ans, puis il mourut.

and al the dayes of kenan were. ix. hundred and. x. yere and than he dyed.

15 Mahalalel vécut soixante-cinq ans, puis devint le père de Jared.

And Mahalaliel lyued. lxv. yere and begat Iared.

16 Mahalalel vécut, après avoir engendré Jared, huit cent trente ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And Mahalaliel after he had begot Iared lyved. viij. hundred and. xxx. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:

17 Tous les jours de Mahalalel furent de huit cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans, puis il mourut.

and all the dayes of Mahalalyell were. viij. hundred nynetye and. v. yeare and than he dyed

18 Jared vécut cent soixante-deux ans, puis devint le père d'Hénoc.

And Iared lyved an hundred and. lxij. yere and begat Henoch:

19 Jared vécut, après avoir engendré Hénoc, huit cents ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

and Iared lyved after he begat Henoch. viij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

20 Tous les jours de Jared furent de neuf cent soixante-deux ans, puis il mourut.

And all the dayes of Iared were. ix. hundred and. lxij. yere and than he dyed.

21 Hénoc vécut soixante-cinq ans, puis devint le père de Mathusalem.

And Henoch lyved. lxv. yere ad begat Mathusala.

22 Après la naissance de Mathusalem, Hénoc marcha avec Dieu pendant trois cents ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

And Henoch walked wyth god after he had begot Mathusala. iij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

23 Tous les jours d'Hénoc furent de trois cent soixante-cinq ans.

And all the dayes of Henoch were. iij. hundred and. lxv. yere.

24 Hénoc marcha avec Dieu, et il ne fut pas trouvé, car Dieu le prit.

and than Henoch lyved a godly lyfe and was nomore sene for God toke hym away.

25 Mathusalem vécut cent quatre-vingt-sept ans, puis devint le père de Lamek.

And Mathusala lyved an hundred and lxxxvij. yere and begat Lamech:

26 Mathusalem vécut, après avoir engendré Lémec, sept cent quatre-vingt-deux ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et d'autres filles.

and Mathusala after he had begot Lamech lyved. vij. hundred and. lxxxij. yere ad begat sonnes and doughters.

27 Tous les jours de Mathusalem furent de neuf cent soixante-neuf ans, puis il mourut.

And all the dayes of Methusala were. ix. hundred. lxix yere and than he dyed.

28 Lémec vécut cent quatre-vingt-deux ans, puis il engendra un fils.

And Lamech lyved an hundred. lxxxij. yere and begat a sonne

29 Il lui donna le nom de Noé, en disant: « Celui-ci nous consolera dans notre travail et dans le labeur de nos mains, causé par le sol que Yahvé a maudit. »

and called hym Noe sayng. This same shall comforte vs: as concernynge oure worke and sorowe of oure handes which we haue aboute the erthe that the LORde hath cursed.

30 Lamek vécut, après avoir engendré Noé, cinq cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans, et il engendra d'autres fils et filles.

And Lamech lyved after he had begot Noe v. hundred nynetie and. v. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.

31 Tous les jours de Lémec furent de sept cent soixante-dix-sept ans, puis il mourut.

And all the dayes of Lamech were. vij. hundred. lxxvij. yere and than he dyed.

32 Noé avait cinq cents ans, puis Noé est devenu le père de Sem, de Cham et de Japhet.

And when Noe was. v. hundred yere olde he begat Sem Ham and Iaphet.
