< Luka 16 >

1 Yesu do lo sia na eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Kesinɔtɔ aɖe xɔ gakɔntametola aɖe be wòakpɔ eƒe ganyawo dzi nɛ. Eteƒe medidi o la, eva se be gakɔntametola la nye ame fiti aɖe ŋutɔ.
And he spoke a parable to his disciples. There was a certain rich man, who had a steward; and accusations were brought to him of him, that he squandered his property.
2 “Le esia ta la, kesinɔtɔ la yɔe gblɔ nɛ be, ‘Nya kawoe nye esiawo mese le ŋuwò be èle nye nuwo fim? Wɔ akɔnta le ga siwo katã nèxɔ la ŋu nam, elabena tso egbea dzi la, menya wò le dɔ me.’
And his lord called him, and said to him: What is this that I hear of thee? Render to me an account of thy stewardship; for thou canst no longer be my steward.
3 “Gakɔntametola la yi ta me sẽe, eye wòbia eɖokui be, ‘Nu ka mawɔ fifia? Nye aƒetɔ nyam le afi sia, evɔ ŋusẽ hã mele ŋunye be mayi aɖawɔ dɔ sesẽ aɖeke o, eye nyemate ŋu abia nu hã o, elabena esia aɖe dzinye kpɔtɔ akpa.
And the steward said with himself: What shall I do, since my lord is about to take from me the stewardship? To dig, I am unable; and to become a beggar, I am ashamed.
4 Menya nu si mawɔ! Ele be madi xɔlɔ̃wo fũu, esiwo gbɔ maɖu nu le ne medzudzɔ dɔa.’
I know what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me to their houses.
5 “Ale wòyɔ eƒe aƒetɔ ƒe fenyilawo ɖekaɖeka. Ebia gbãtɔ be, ‘Ho neni ƒe fe nènyi le nye aƒetɔ ŋu?’
And he called each one of his lord's debtors; and he said to the first, How much owest thou to my lord?
6 “Eɖo eŋu be, ‘Amitimi kilolita etɔ̃.’ “Gakɔntametola gblɔ nɛ be, ‘Tsɔ wò fegbalẽ gbãtɔ, nɔ anyi kaba, eye nàtrɔe wòazu kilolita ɖeka kple afã.’
And he said to him, One hundred measures of oil. And he said to him: Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write Fifty measures.
7 “Tete wòbia ame evelia be, ‘Fe nenie wò ya nènyi?’ “Eɖo eŋu be, ‘Lu kilo blaetɔ̃ vɔ atɔ̃.’ “Egblɔ nɛ be, ‘Tsɔ wò fegbalẽ, eye nàŋlɔ kilo blaetɔ̃.’
And he said to another: And how much owest thou to my lord? And he said to him, One hundred cors of wheat. And he said to him: Take thy bill, and sit down, and write Eighty cors.
And our Lord praised the unrighteous steward, for having acted sagaciously: for the children of this world are more sagacious than the children of light, in this their generation. (aiōn g165)
9 Mele egblɔm na mi be mitsɔ anyigbadzinu madzɔmadzɔwo dze xɔlɔ̃woe na mia ɖokui, ne wo nu va yi vɔ la, woaxɔ mi ɖe aƒe mavɔ la me. (aiōnios g166)
And I also say to you: Make to yourselves friends, with this unrighteous mammon; so that when it is finished, they may receive you to their everlasting tabernacles. (aiōnios g166)
10 “Ame si te ŋu wɔ nuteƒe le nu suetɔ me la ate ŋu awɔ nuteƒe le nu geɖewo hã me, eye ame si nye nu madzɔmadzɔ wɔla le nu suetɔ me la anye nu madzɔmadzɔ wɔla le nu geɖewo hã me.
He that is faithful in the little, is also faithful in the much; and he that is unjust in the little, is also unjust in the much.
11 Ne amewo mekana ɖe mia dzi ɣe aɖeke ɣi le xexemekesinɔnuwo ŋuti o la, ame kae atsɔ dziƒo nu xɔasi vavãwo ade mia si?
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will intrust to you the reality?
12 Eye nenye be mieɖia anukware le ame bubuwo ƒe nu siwo wotsɔ de mia si me ŋu o la, aleke wɔ woatsɔ gã si nye wò ŋutɔ tɔwò la ade asi na wò?
And if ye have not been found faithful in that which is not yours, who will give to you that which is yours?
13 “Ame aɖeke mate ŋu asubɔ aƒetɔ eve o. Agbe nu le ɖeka gbɔ, eye wòatsɔ lɔlɔ̃ na evelia, alo aku ɖe ɖeka ŋuti, eye wòado vlo evelia. Miate ŋu asubɔ Mawu kple ga o.”
There is no servant, who can serve two lords. For, either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will honor the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14 Farisitɔ siwo lɔ̃a ga vivivo la se nya siawo katã, eye woɖo hehe ɖe Yesu ta.
And the Pharisees, when they heard all these things, because they loved money, derided him.
15 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Miewɔa mia ɖokuiwo abe ame kɔkɔe deblibowo ene le amewo ƒe ŋkume, gake Mawu nya miaƒe dzimesusu vɔ̃ɖiwo.” Miaƒe alakpanuwɔwɔ na be amewo tsɔa bubu na mi, gake enye ŋunyɔnu le Mawu ƒe ŋkume.
And Jesus said to them: Ye are such as justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your heart: for that which is exalted among men, is abominable before God.
16 “Hafi Yohanes Mawutsidetanamela nadze mawunyagbɔgblɔ gɔme la, Mose ƒe sewo kple Nyagblɔɖilawo ƒe gbedeasiwo koe kplɔa mi. Gake Yohanes tsɔ nyanyui sia vɛ be mawufiaɖuƒe la gbɔna kpuie. Eye fifia la, ame geɖe ŋutɔ le ʋiʋlim vevie be yewoage ɖe eme.
The law and the prophets were until John: since then, the kingdom of God is proclaimed, and every one presseth it to enter in.
17 Gake esia mefia be sea ƒe ŋusẽ dzi ɖe kpɔtɔ le mɔ aɖeke nu o. Ŋusẽ gale eŋu, eye wòle te sesĩe abe dziƒo kple anyigba ene.
And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one letter to pass from the law.
18 “Eya ta ne ame aɖe gbe srɔ̃a, eye wòɖe nyɔnu bubu la ewɔ ahasi, eye ame si hã ɖe nyɔnu si ŋu woɖe asi le la hã wɔ ahasi.”
Whoever putteth away his wife, and taketh another, committeth adultery; and whoever taketh her that is put away, committeth adultery.
19 “Ke ŋutsu kesinɔtɔ aɖe nɔ anyi, ame sia doa awu xɔasiwo, eye wònɔa dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ dzi gbe sia gbe.
And there was a certain rich man, who was clothed in fine linen and scarlet, and passed every day in splendid luxury.
20 Ŋutsu dahe aɖe si ŋkɔe nye Lazaro, ame si ƒe ŋuti yɔ fũu kple abiwo, eye wònye nubiala la va mlɔa kesinɔtɔ sia ƒe agbo nu.
And there was a certain poor man, whose name was Lazarus; and he was laid at the gate of the rich man, smitten with ulcers.
21 Emlɔa afi sia henɔa mɔ kpɔm be nuɖuɖu kakɛ aɖe ava ka ye si tso kesinɔtɔ la ƒe nuɖukplɔ̃ dzi. Avuwo va nɔa eƒe abiwo me ɖuɖɔm le agboa nu.
And he desired to fill his belly with the fragments that fell from the rich man's table: and the dogs also came and licked his ulcers.
22 “Mlɔeba la, Lazaro nubiala la va ku, eye mawudɔlawo va kɔe yi Abraham gbɔ afi si ame dzɔdzɔewo nɔna. Kesinɔtɔ la hã ku mlɔeba, eye woɖii.
And so it was, that the poor man died; and angels transported him to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried.
23 Eƒe luʋɔ yi ɖe dzomavɔ me. Esi wònɔ fu kpem le afi ma la, ekpɔ Lazaro ɖaa le Abraham gbɔ. (Hadēs g86)
And being tormented in hell, he raised his eyes from afar off, and saw Abraham, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
24 Edo ɣli sesĩe be, ‘Fofo Abraham, kpɔ nye nublanui! Dɔ Lazaro ɖa be wòade eƒe asibidɛ tsi me atsɔ age ɖe nye aɖe dzi be nye dzi nafa vie, elabena nye ve me ƒu kplakplakpla le dzo gã sia me.’
And he called with a loud voice, and said: Abraham, my father, have pity on me; and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and moisten my tongue; for, lo, I am tormented in this flame.
25 “Gake Abraham gblɔ nɛ be, ‘Ŋutsu, ɖo ŋku edzi be le wò agbemeŋkekewo me la, èkpɔ nu sia nu si nèdi, ke naneke menɔ Lazaro ya si o. Ale le afi sia la, ekpɔ akɔfafa, ke wò ya èle vevesese me.
And Abraham said to him: My son, remember, that thou receivedst thy good things in thy lifetime, and Lazarus his evil things: and now, behold he is here at rest, and thou art tormented.
26 Hekpe ɖe esia ŋu la, ʋe gã aɖe le mí kpli wò dome, ale be ne ame aɖe be yeatso afii ava mia gbɔ la, ʋe la gbɔ ko wòava se, eye ame aɖeke hã mate ŋu atso mia gbɔ ava mía gbɔ o.’
And with all these, there is a great barrier between us and you; so that they who would pass from here to you, cannot; neither can they pass from there to us
27 “Ale kesinɔtɔ la gblɔ be, ‘Fofo Abraham, ekema dɔ Lazaro ɖe fofonye ƒe aƒe me,
He said to him: I pray thee, therefore, my father, that thou wouldst send him to my father's house;
28 elabena nɔviŋutsu atɔ̃ bubuwo gale megbea be wòagbe nya na wo tso agbe si ƒomevi wole la ŋu be ne woawo hã va ku la, womava dzomavɔ sia me o.’
for I have five brothers; that he may go and protest to them; lest they also come to this place of torment.
29 “Abraham ɖo eŋu be, ‘Mose kple Nyagblɔɖilawo le wo gbɔ, woaɖo to woawo.’
Abraham said to him: They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them.
30 “Egblɔ be, ‘Ao, Fofo Abraham, nenye be ame aɖe atso ame kukuwo dome ayi wo gbɔ la, woatrɔ dzi me.’
But he said to him: No, my father Abraham: but if one shall go to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 “Egblɔ nɛ be, ‘Nenye be womaɖo to Mose kple Nyagblɔɖilawo o la, ne ame aɖe fɔ tso ame kukuwo dome gɔ̃ hã la, mate ŋu aƒoe ɖe wo nu woaxɔe o.’”
Abraham said to him: If they hear not Moses and the prophets, they will not believe, though one should rise from the dead.
