Zephaniah 3
1 Woe [to] the rebellious and polluted, The oppressing city!
౧తిరుగుబాటు పట్టణానికి బాధ. హింసాత్మక నగరం భ్రష్టమైపోయింది.
2 She hath not hearkened to the voice, She hath not accepted instruction, In Jehovah she hath not trusted, Unto her God she hath not drawn near.
౨అది దేవుని మాట ఆలకించలేదు. శిక్షకు అంగీకరించ లేదు. యెహోవా పట్ల విశ్వాసముంచదు. దాని దేవుని దగ్గరికి రాదు.
3 Her heads in her midst [are] roaring lions, Her judges [are] evening wolves, They have not gnawn the bone in the morning.
౩దాని మధ్య దాని అధిపతులు గర్జన చేసే సింహాలు. దాని న్యాయాధిపతులు రాత్రివేళ తిరుగులాడుతూ తెల్లవారేదాకా ఎరలో ఏమీ మిగలకుండా పీక్కు తినే తోడేళ్లు.
4 Her prophets unstable — men of treachery, Her priests have polluted the sanctuary, They have violated the law.
౪దాని ప్రవక్తలు పెంకెతనం గలవారు, విశ్వాస ఘాతకులు. దాని యాజకులు ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని నిరాకరించి ప్రతిష్ఠిత వస్తువులను అపవిత్రపరిచేవారు.
5 Jehovah [is] righteous in her midst, He doth not do perverseness, Morning by morning His judgment he giveth to the light, It hath not been lacking, And the perverse doth not know shame.
౫అయితే న్యాయం తీర్చే యెహోవా దాని మధ్య ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన అక్రమం చేసేవాడు కాడు. అనుదినం తప్పకుండా ఆయన న్యాయ విధులు వెల్లడి చేస్తాడు. ఆయనకు రహస్యమైనదేమీ లేదు. అయినా నీతిహీనులకు సిగ్గులేదు.
6 I have cut off nations, Desolated have been their chief ones, I have laid waste their out-places without any passing by, Destroyed have been their cities, Without man, without inhabitant.
౬నేను అన్యజనులను నిర్మూలం చేయగా వారి కోటలు పాడైపోతాయి. ఒకడైనా సంచరించకుండా వారి వీధులు నిర్మానుష్యమై పోతాయి. జనసంచారం లేకుండా వాటిలో ఎవరూ కాపురముండకుండా వారి పట్టణాలను లయపరచిన వాణ్ణి నేనే.
7 I have said: Only, ye do fear Me, Ye do accept instruction, And her habitation is not cut off, All that I have appointed for her, But they have risen early, They have corrupted all their doings.
౭దాని విషయమై నా నిర్ణయమంతటి చొప్పున మీ నివాస స్థలం సర్వనాశనం కాకుండేలా, నాపట్ల భయభక్తులు కలిగి శిక్షకు లోబడతారని నేను అనుకున్నాను గాని, వారు చెడ్డ పనులు చేయడంలో అత్యాశ గలవారయ్యారు.
8 Therefore, wait for Me — an affirmation of Jehovah, For the day of My rising for prey, For My judgment [is] to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them Mine indignation, All the heat of Mine anger, For by the fire of My jealousy consumed is all the earth.
౮కాబట్టి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చేవాక్కు ఏమంటే, “నా కోసం ఎదురు చూడండి. నేను లేచి ఎర పట్టుకునే దినం కోసం కనిపెట్టి ఉండండి. నా ఉగ్రతను నా కోపాగ్ని అంతటినీ వారిపై కుమ్మరించడానికి, అన్యజనులను పోగు చేయడానికి, గుంపులు గుంపులుగా రాజ్యాలను సమకూర్చడానికి, నేను నిశ్చయించుకున్నాను. నా రోషాగ్ని చేత భూమంతా కాలిపోతుంది.
9 For then do I turn unto peoples a pure lip, To call all of them by the name of Jehovah, To serve Him [with] one shoulder.
౯అప్పుడు మనుషులంతా యెహోవా నామాన్ని బట్టి ఏకమనస్కులై ఆయన్ను సేవించేలా నేను వారికి పవిత్రమైన పెదవులనిస్తాను.
10 From beyond the rivers of Cush, my supplicants, The daughter of My scattered ones, Do bring My present.
౧౦చెదరి పోయి నాకు ప్రార్థన చేసే నా ప్రజలను కూషు దేశపు నదుల అవతల నుండి నాకు నైవేద్యంగా తీసుకు వస్తారు.
11 In that day thou art not ashamed because of any of thine actions, Wherewith thou hast transgressed against Me, For then do I turn aside from thy midst The exulting ones of thine excellency, And thou dost add no more to be haughty, In My holy mountain.
౧౧ఆ దినాన నీ గర్వాన్ని బట్టి సంతోషించే వారిని నీలో నుండి నేను వెళ్లగొడతాను. కాబట్టి నా పరిశుద్ధమైన కొండ దగ్గర నీవిక అహంకారం చూపించవు. నా మీద తిరగబడి నీవు చేసిన క్రియల విషయమై నీకు సిగ్గు కలగదు.
12 And I have left in thy midst a people humble and poor, And they have trusted in the name of Jehovah.
౧౨దుఃఖితులైన దీనులను యెహోవా నామాన్ని ఆశ్రయించే జనశేషంగా నీమధ్య ఉండనిస్తాను.
13 The remnant of Israel do no perversity, nor speak lies, Nor found in their mouth is a deceitful tongue, For they have delight, and have lain down, And there is none troubling.
౧౩ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల్లో మిగిలిన వారు పాపం చేయరు. అబద్ధమాడరు. కపటాలు పలికే నాలుక వారి నోట ఉండదు. వారు ఎవరి భయం లేకుండ విశ్రాంతిగా అన్నపానాలు పుచ్చుకుంటారు.”
14 Cry aloud, O daughter of Zion, shout, O Israel, Rejoice and exult with the whole heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
౧౪సీయోను నివాసులారా, ఉత్సాహ ధ్వని చేయండి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, జయధ్వని చేయండి. యెరూషలేము నివాసులారా, పూర్ణ హృదయంతో సంతోషించి గంతులు వేయండి.
15 Jehovah hath turned aside thy judgments, He hath faced thine enemy, The king of Israel, Jehovah, [is] in thy midst, Thou seest evil no more.
౧౫మీకు విధించిన శిక్షను యెహోవా కొట్టివేశాడు. మీ శత్రువులను ఆయన వెళ్లగొట్టాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలుకు రాజైన యెహోవా మీ మధ్య ఉన్నాడు. ఇక మీదట మీకు అపాయం సంభవించదు.
16 In that day it is said to Jerusalem, 'Fear not, O Zion, let not thy hands be feeble.
౧౬ఆ దినాన ప్రజలు మీతో ఇలా అంటారు. యెరూషలేమూ, భయపడకు. సీయోనూ, ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకో.
17 Jehovah thy God [is] in thy midst, A mighty one doth save, He rejoiceth over thee with joy, He doth work in His love, He joyeth over thee with singing.'
౧౭నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ మధ్య ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన శక్తిశాలి. ఆయన మిమ్మల్ని రక్షిస్తాడు. ఆయన బహు ఆనందంతో నీ విషయం సంతోషిస్తాడు. నీ పట్ల తనకున్న ప్రేమను బట్టి శాంతం వహించి నీ విషయమైన సంతోషము మూలంగా ఆయన హర్షిస్తాడు.
18 Mine afflicted from the appointed place I have gathered, from thee they have been, Bearing for her sake reproach.
౧౮నీ నియామక కాలపు పండగలకు రాలేక చింతపడే నీ బంధువులను నేను సమకూరుస్తాను. వారు గొప్ప అవమానం పొందిన వారు.
19 Lo, I am dealing with all afflicting thee at that time, And I have saved the halting one, And the driven out ones I do gather, And have set them for a praise and for a name, In all the land of their shame.
౧౯ఆ కాలమున నిన్ను హింస పెట్టే వారినందరినీ నేను శిక్షిస్తాను. కుంటుతూ నడిచే వారిని నేను రక్షిస్తాను. చెదరగొట్టబడిన వారిని సమకూరుస్తాను. ఏ యే దేశాల్లో వారు అవమానం పాలయ్యారో అలాటి ప్రతి చోటా నేను వారికి ఖ్యాతిని, మంచి పేరును కలగజేస్తాను.
20 At that time I bring you in, Even at the time of My assembling you, For I give you for a name, and for a praise, Among all peoples of the land, In My turning back [to] your captivity before your eyes, said Jehovah!
౨౦ఆ కాలంలో మీరు చూస్తుండగా నేను మిమ్మల్ని చెరలోనుండి రప్పించి, మిమ్మల్ని సమకూర్చిన తరువాత మిమ్మల్ని నడిపిస్తాను. నిజంగా భూమి మీద ఉన్న జనులందరి దృష్టికి నేను మీకు ఖ్యాతిని మంచి పేరును కట్టబెడతాను. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.
