Revelation 4

1 After these things I saw, and lo, a door opened in the heaven, and the first voice that I heard [is] as of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up hither, and I will shew thee what it behoveth to come to pass after these things;'

Depois destas coisas olhei e vi uma porta aberta no céu; e a primeira voz que ouvi, como uma trombeta falando comigo, foi uma que dizia: “Suba aqui, e eu lhe mostrarei as coisas que devem acontecer depois disto”.

2 and immediately I was in the Spirit, and lo, a throne was set in the heaven, and upon the throne is [one] sitting,

Imediatamente eu estava no Espírito. Eis que havia um trono colocado no céu, e um sentado no trono

3 and He who is sitting was in sight like a stone, jasper and sardine: and a rainbow was round the throne in sight like an emerald.

that parecia uma pedra de jaspe e um sárdio. Havia um arco-íris ao redor do trono, como uma esmeralda para se olhar.

4 And around the throne [are] thrones twenty and four, and upon the thrones I saw the twenty and four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and they had upon their heads crowns of gold;

Ao redor do trono havia vinte e quatro tronos. Nos tronos havia vinte e quatro anciãos sentados, vestidos com roupas brancas, com coroas de ouro em suas cabeças.

5 and out of the throne proceed do lightnings, and thunders, and voices; and seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the Seven Spirits of God,

Fora do trono prosseguiam relâmpagos, sons e trovões. Antes de seu trono, havia sete lâmpadas de fogo acesas, que são os sete Espíritos de Deus.

6 and before the throne [is] a sea of glass like to crystal, and in the midst of the throne, and round the throne, [are] four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind;

Antes do trono havia algo como um mar de vidro, semelhante ao cristal. No meio do trono, e ao redor do trono, havia quatro seres vivos cheios de olhos antes e depois.

7 and the first living creature [is] like a lion, and the second living creature [is] like a calf, and the third living creature hath the face as a man, and the fourth living creature [is] like an eagle flying.

A primeira criatura era como um leão, a segunda como um bezerro, a terceira tinha um rosto como um homem, e a quarta era como uma águia voadora.

8 And the four living creatures, each by itself severally, had six wings, around and within [are] full of eyes, and rest they have not day and night, saying, 'Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming;'

As quatro criaturas vivas, cada uma delas com seis asas, estão cheias de olhos ao redor e dentro. Eles não têm descanso dia e noite, dizendo: “Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, quem foi e quem é e quem virá”!

9 and when the living creatures do give glory, and honour, and thanks, to Him who is sitting upon the throne, who is living to the ages of the ages, (aiōn g165)

Quando os seres vivos dão glória, honra e graças àquele que está sentado no trono, àquele que vive para todo o sempre, (aiōn g165)

10 fall down do the twenty and four elders before Him who is sitting upon the throne, and bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn g165)

os vinte e quatro anciãos caem diante daquele que está sentado no trono e adoram aquele que vive para todo o sempre, e lançam suas coroas diante do trono, dizendo: (aiōn g165)

11 'Worthy art Thou, O Lord, to receive the glory, and the honour, and the power, because Thou — Thou didst create the all things, and because of Thy will are they, and they were created.'

“Digno és tu, nosso Senhor e Deus, o Santo, de receber a glória, a honra e o poder, pois tu criaste todas as coisas, e por teu desejo elas existiram e foram criadas”!
