< Psalms 82 >

1 — A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.
Asaph ih Saam laa. Sithaw loe thacak kaminawk salakah angdoet; sithawnawk salakah lokcaek.
2 Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? (Selah)
Nangcae loe kasae kaminawk to nang sak o haih moe, katoeng ai ah nasetto maw lok na caek o han vop? (Selah)
3 Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.
Amtang kami hoi ampa tawn ai kaminawk to abom oh; amtang kami hoi patangkhang kaminawk khaeah toenghaih hoiah lokcaek ah.
4 Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.
Amtang kami hoi kangaih kaminawk to pahnawt hmah; kasae kami ban thung hoiah pahlong ah.
5 They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.
Nihcae loe tidoeh panoek o ai, panoek thaihaih doeh tawn o ai; kaving thungah amkaeh o; long ohhaih ahmuennawk boih loe cak ai.
6 I — I have said, 'Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,
Kai mah, Nangcae loe long sithaw ah na oh o; nangcae loe Kasang koek ih caa ah na oh o, tiah ka thuih.
7 But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,
Toe nangcae loe kaminawk baktiah na dueh o ueloe, ukkung minawk kalah baktiah ni nam tim o toeng tih.
8 Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!
Aw Sithaw, angthawk ah loe, long hae lokcaek ah; long kaminawk boih loe nang ih qawktoep kami ah ni oh o.
