Psalms 29

1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.

Dad a Jehová, o! hijos de fuertes, dad a Jehová la gloria y la fortaleza.

2 Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.

Dad a Jehová la gloria de su nombre: humilláos a Jehová en el glorioso santuario.

3 The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.

Voz de Jehová sobre las aguas: el Dios de gloria hizo tronar: Jehová, sobre las muchas aguas.

4 The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,

Voz de Jehová con potencia: voz de Jehová con gloria.

5 The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.

Voz de Jehová que quebranta los cedros; y quebrantó Jehová los cedros del Líbano.

6 And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,

E hízolos saltar como los becerros: al Líbano, y al Sirión como hijos de unicornios.

7 The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,

Voz de Jehová que corta llamas de fuego.

8 The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.

Voz de Jehová que hará temblar al desierto: hará temblar Jehová al desierto de Cádes.

9 The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, 'Glory.'

Voz de Jehová que hará estar de parto a las ciervas, y desnudará a las breñas: y en su templo todos los suyos le dicen gloria.

10 Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king — to the age,

Jehová estuvo en el diluvio, y asentóse Jehová por rey para siempre.

11 Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace!

Jehová dará fortaleza a su pueblo: Jehová bendecirá a su pueblo en paz.
