Psalms 22

1 To the Overseer, on 'The Hind of the Morning.' — A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation, The words of my roaring?

१प्रमुख गायकासाठी अय्येलेथ हाश्शहर (म्हणजे पहाटेची हरिणी) या रागावर बसवलेले दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. माझ्या देवा, माझ्या देवा तू मला का सोडून गेलास? मला तारायला आणि माझ्या वेदनांचा शब्द ऐकायला तू दूर का आहेस?

2 My God, I call by day, and Thou answerest not, And by night, and there is no silence to me.

२माझ्या देवा, मी तुला दिवसा हाक मारली परंतु तू उत्तर दिले नाहीस, आणि मी रात्रीही गप्प बसलो नाही.

3 And Thou [art] holy, Sitting — the Praise of Israel.

३तरी तू पवित्र आहेस, जो इस्राएलाच्या स्तवनामध्ये वसतोस.

4 In Thee did our fathers trust — they trusted, And Thou dost deliver them.

४आमच्या पूर्वजांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवला. होय देवा, त्यांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवला आणि तू त्यांना वाचवलेस.

5 Unto Thee they cried, and were delivered, In Thee they trusted, and were not ashamed.

५देवा आमच्या पूर्वजांनी तुला मदतीसाठी आरोळी केली आणि त्यांना तू सोडवले, त्यांनी तुझ्यावर विश्वास टाकला आणि त्यांची निराशा झाली नाही.

6 And I [am] a worm, and no man, A reproach of man, and despised of the people.

६परंतू मी किटक आहे, मी मनुष्य नाही, जो मनुष्यांनी निंदिलेला आणि लोकांनी तिरस्कार केलेला आहे.

7 All beholding me do mock at me, They make free with the lip — shake the head,

७सर्व माझ्याकडे बघणारे माझा उपहास करतात; ते माझा अपमान करतात, ते त्यांचे डोके हलवतात.

8 'Roll unto Jehovah, He doth deliver him, He doth deliver him, for he delighted in him.'

८ते म्हणतात “तो परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतो, तर परमेश्वर त्यास सोडवो. त्याने त्यास वाचवावे, कारण तो त्याच्याठायी हर्ष पावतो.”

9 For thou [art] He bringing me forth from the womb, Causing me to trust, On the breasts of my mother.

९परंतु मला उदरांतून बाहेर काढणारा तुच आहेस, मी माझ्या आईच्या स्तनांवर असता, तू मला तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवायला शिकवले.

10 On Thee I have been cast from the womb, From the belly of my mother Thou [art] my God.

१०मी गर्भातूनच तुझ्यावर सोपवून दिलेला होतो. माझ्या आईच्या उदरात असतानाच तू माझा देव आहेस.

11 Be not far from me, For adversity is near, for there is no helper.

११माझ्यापासून दूर नको राहू, कारण संकट जवळच आहे. आणि मला मदत करायला कोणीही नाही.

12 Many bulls have surrounded me, Mighty ones of Bashan have compassed me,

१२खुप बैलांनी मला वेढले आहे, बाशानाच्या बळकट बैलांनी मला वेढले आहे.

13 They have opened against me their mouth, A lion tearing and roaring.

१३जसा सिंह आपले तोंड त्याच्या भक्ष्यास फाडण्यास उघडतो, तसे त्यांनी आपले तोंड माझ्या विरूद्ध उघडले आहे.

14 As waters I have been poured out, And separated themselves have all my bones, My heart hath been like wax, It is melted in the midst of my bowels.

१४मी पाण्यासारखा ओतला जात आहे, आणि माझी सर्व हाडे निखळली आहेत. माझे हृदय मेणासारखे झाले आहे. जे माझ्या आतल्या आत विरघळले आहे.

15 Dried up as an earthen vessel is my power, And my tongue is cleaving to my jaws.

१५फुटलेल्या खापराप्रमाणे माझी शक्ती सुकून गेली आहे. माझी जीभ टाळूला चिकटली आहे. तू मला “मृत्यूच्या धुळीत” ठेवले आहे.

16 And to the dust of death thou appointest me, For surrounded me have dogs, A company of evil doers have compassed me, Piercing my hands and my feet.

१६“कुत्री” मला वेढून आहेत, मला दुष्टांच्या घोळक्यांनी घेरले आहे. त्यांनी माझ्या हातापायाला छेदले आहे.

17 I count all my bones — they look expectingly, They look upon me,

१७मी माझी सर्व हाडे मोजू शकतो. ते माझ्याकडे टक लावून बघतात.

18 They apportion my garments to themselves, And for my clothing they cause a lot to fall.

१८त्यांनी माझे कपडे त्यांच्यात वाटून घेतली आहेत, आणि माझ्या कपड्यांसाठी ते चिठ्‌या टाकतात.

19 And Thou, O Jehovah, be not far off, O my strength, to help me haste.

१९परमेश्वरा, मला सोडून जाऊ नकोस तुच माझी शक्ती हो, लवकर ये आणि मला मदत कर.

20 Deliver from the sword my soul, From the paw of a dog mine only one.

२०परमेश्वरा माझे आयुष्य तलवारीपासून वाचव, माझे मौल्यवान आयुष्य त्या कुत्र्यांच्या पंज्यापासून वाचव.

21 Save me from the mouth of a lion: — And — from the horns of the high places Thou hast answered me!

२१सिंहाच्या जबड्यापासून माझे रक्षण कर. जंगली बैलाच्या शिंगापासून माझे रक्षण कर.

22 I declare Thy name to my brethren, In the midst of the assembly I praise Thee.

२२परमेश्वरा, मी माझ्या भावांना तुझे नाव सांगेन. सभेत मी तुझे गुणगान गाईन.

23 Ye who fear Jehovah, praise ye Him, All the seed of Jacob, honour ye Him, And be afraid of Him, all ye seed of Israel.

२३जे लोक परमेश्वराचे भय धरतात, ते तुम्ही त्याची स्तुती करा! याकोबाच्या सर्व वंशजांनो, त्यास मान द्या! इस्राएलाच्या वंशजांनो, परमेश्वराची भीती बाळगा आणि त्याचा आदर करा.

24 For He hath not despised, nor abominated, The affliction of the afflicted, Nor hath He hidden His face from him, And in his crying unto Him He heareth.

२४कारण परमेश्वराने संकटात सापडलेल्यांच्या दु: खाला तुच्छ मानले नाही आणि किळस केला नाही. आणि त्यांनी आपले मुख त्यांच्यापासून लपवले नाही. जेव्हा पिडीतांनी त्यास आरोळी केली, त्याने ऐकले.

25 Of Thee my praise [is] in the great assembly. My vows I complete before His fearers.

२५परमेश्वरा, मोठ्या सभेत मी तुझी स्तुती करीन. तुझे भय धरणाऱ्यांपुढे मी आपले नवस फेडीन.

26 The humble do eat and are satisfied, Praise Jehovah do those seeking Him, Your heart doth live for ever.

२६गरीब लोक खातील आणि समाधानी राहतील. जे लोक परमेश्वरास शोधत आहेत, ते त्याची स्तुती करतील. तुझे हृदय सर्वकाळ जिवंत राहो.

27 Remember and return unto Jehovah, Do all ends of the earth, And before Thee bow themselves, Do all families of the nations,

२७सर्व पृथ्वीवरील लोक त्याची आठवण करतील आणि परमेश्वराकडे परत येतील. सर्व राष्ट्रातील कुटूंब तुला नमन करतील.

28 For to Jehovah [is] the kingdom, And He is ruling among nations.

२८कारण राज्य परमेश्वरचे आहे, तो जगावर अधिकार करणारा आहे.

29 And the fat ones of earth have eaten, And they bow themselves, Before Him bow do all going down to dust, And he [who] hath not revived his soul.

२९पृथ्वीवरील सर्व समृद्ध लोक भोजन आणि स्तुती करतील. जे आपला जीव वाचवू शकत नाही, जे सर्व धुळीस लागले आहेत, ते त्यास नमन करतील.

30 A seed doth serve Him, It is declared of the Lord to the generation.

३०येणारी पिढी त्याची सेवा करणार. ते त्यांच्या पुढच्या पिढीला प्रभूबद्दल सांगतील.

31 They come and declare His righteousness, To a people that is borne, that He hath made!

३१ते येतील आणि जे जन्मतील त्यांना ते त्याचे न्यायीपण प्रगट करतील, ते म्हणतील त्यानेच हे केले आहे.
