Psalms 135

1 Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ,

2 Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕರೇ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.

3 Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah [is] good, Sing praise to His name, for [it is] pleasant.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು; ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ರಮ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು.

4 For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡರು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಂಪತ್ತಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

5 For I have known that great [is] Jehovah, Yea, our Lord [is] above all gods.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದೊಡ್ಡವರು; ನಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವರೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

6 All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಗಾಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಾವು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

7 Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.

ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಿಂಚನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಬೀಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

8 Who smote the first-born of Egypt, From man unto beast.

ದೇವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಪಶುಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡಿಸಿದರು.

9 He sent tokens and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, On Pharaoh and on all his servants.

ಈಜಿಪ್ಟೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇವರು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸಕಲ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

10 Who smote many nations, and slew strong kings,

ದೇವರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಲವಾದ ಅರಸರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸಿದರು.

11 Even Sihon king of the Amorite, And Og king of Bashan, And all kingdoms of Canaan.

ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನು, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನನ್ನೂ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸಿದರು.

12 And He gave their land an inheritance, An inheritance to Israel His people,

ದೇವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

13 O Jehovah, Thy name [is] to the age, O Jehovah, Thy memorial to all generations.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಮವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಭಾವವೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು.

14 For Jehovah doth judge His people, And for His servants comforteth Himself.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನುಕಂಪವನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸುವರು.

15 The idols of the nations [are] silver and gold, Work of the hands of man.

ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳು, ಅವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿವೆ.

16 A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಯಿಯಿದೆ, ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿವೆ, ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

17 Ears they have, and they give not ear, Nose — there is no breath in their mouth!

ಕಿವಿಗಳಿವೆ, ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವುಗಳ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ವಾಸ ಇಲ್ಲ.

18 Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತಾಗುವರು.

19 O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah, O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah,

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.

20 O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah, Those fearing Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.

ಲೇವಿಯ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.

21 Blessed [is] Jehovah from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem — praise ye Jah!

ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ಅವರ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೂ ಹಬ್ಬಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ.
