Psalms 128

1 A Song of the Ascents. O the happiness of every one fearing Jehovah, Who is walking in His ways.

Cantique graduel. Heureux l'homme qui craint l'Éternel, qui marche dans ses voies!

2 The labour of thy hands thou surely eatest, Happy [art] thou, and good [is] to thee.

Oui, tu jouiras du fruit de tes travaux; à toi félicité et bonheur!

3 Thy wife [is] as a fruitful vine in the sides of thy house, Thy sons as olive plants around thy table.

Ta femme est comme une vigne féconde dans l'intérieur de ta maison; tes fils, comme des tiges d'olivier, entourent ta table.

4 Lo, surely thus is the man blessed who is fearing Jehovah.

Voyez, ainsi est béni qui craint l'Éternel!

5 Jehovah doth bless thee out of Zion, Look, then, on the good of Jerusalem, All the days of thy life,

De Sion l'Éternel t'enverra ses bénédictions, et le bonheur de Jérusalem réjouira ton regard tout le temps de ta vie.

6 And see the sons of thy sons! Peace on Israel!

Tu verras les enfants de tes enfants. Paix soit à Israël!
