Psalms 116

1 I have loved, because Jehovah heareth My voice, my supplication,

Amé a Jehová, porque ha oído mi voz: mis ruegos.

2 Because He hath inclined His ear to me, And during my days I call.

Porque ha inclinado su oído a mí; y en mis días le llamaré,

3 Compassed me have cords of death, And straits of Sheol have found me, Distress and sorrow I find. (Sheol h7585)

Rodeáronme los dolores de la muerte, las angustias del sepulcro me hallaron: angustia y dolor había hallado: (Sheol h7585)

4 And in the name of Jehovah I call: I pray Thee, O Jehovah, deliver my soul,

Y llamé el nombre de Jehová: Escapa ahora mi alma, o! Jehová.

5 Gracious [is] Jehovah, and righteous, Yea, our God [is] merciful,

Clemente es Jehová y justo, y misericordioso nuestro Dios.

6 A preserver of the simple [is] Jehovah, I was low, and to me He giveth salvation.

Guarda a los sencillos Jehová: yo estaba debilitado y salvóme.

7 Turn back, O my soul, to thy rest, For Jehovah hath conferred benefits on thee.

Vuelve, o! alma mía, a tu reposo; porque Jehová te ha hecho bien.

8 For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.

Porque has librado mi alma de la muerte, mis ojos de las lágrimas, mis pies del rempujón.

9 I walk habitually before Jehovah In the lands of the living.

Andaré delante de Jehová en las tierras de los vivos.

10 I have believed, for I speak, I — I have been afflicted greatly.

Creí, por tanto hablé: y fui afligido en gran manera.

11 I said in my haste, 'Every man [is] a liar.'

Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

12 What do I return to Jehovah? All His benefits [are] upon me.

¿Qué pagaré a Jehová por todos sus beneficios sobre mí?

13 The cup of salvation I lift up, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

El vaso de saludes tomaré; e invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

14 My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people.

Ahora pagaré mis votos a Jehová delante de todo su pueblo.

15 Precious in the eyes of Jehovah [is] the death for His saints.

Estimada es en los ojos de Jehová la muerte de sus piadosos.

16 Cause [it] to come, O Jehovah, for I [am] Thy servant. I [am] Thy servant, son of Thy handmaid, Thou hast opened my bonds.

Así es, o! Jehová; porque yo soy tu siervo, yo soy tu siervo, hijo de tu sierva, tú rompiste mis prisiones.

17 To Thee I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

A ti sacrificaré sacrificio de alabanza; y el nombre de Jehová invocaré.

18 My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people,

Ahora pagaré mis votos a Jehová delante de todo su pueblo;

19 In the courts of the house of Jehovah, In thy midst, O Jerusalem, praise ye Jah!

En los patios de la casa de Jehová; en medio de ti, o! Jerusalem. Alelu- Jah.
