1 Corinthians 2
1 And I, having come unto you, brethren, came — not in superiority of discourse or wisdom — declaring to you the testimony of God,
Así que, hermanos, cuando yo vine a vosotros, no vine con excelencia de palabra o de sabiduría, para anunciaros el testimonio de Cristo.
2 for I decided not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified;
Porque había determinado no saber cosa alguna entre vosotros, sino a Jesu Cristo, y a éste crucificado.
3 and I, in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling, was with you;
Y estuve yo entre vosotros con flaqueza, y con temor, y mucho temblor;
4 and my word and my preaching was not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power —
Y ni mi palabra ni mi predicación fue con palabras persuasivas de humana sabiduría, sino con demonstración del Espíritu y con poder;
5 that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Para que vuestra fe no sea en sabiduría de hombres, mas en poder de Dios.
6 And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age — of those becoming useless, (aiōn g165)
Empero hablamos sabiduría entre los que son perfectos; y sabiduría, no de este siglo, ni de los príncipes de este siglo, que vienen a nada; (aiōn g165)
7 but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn g165)
Mas hablamos la sabiduría misteriosa de Dios, es a saber, la sabiduría ocultada: la que Dios predestinó antes de los siglos para nuestra gloria, (aiōn g165)
8 which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified; (aiōn g165)
La que ninguno de los príncipes de este siglo conoció; porque si la conocieran, nunca crucificaran al Señor de gloria; (aiōn g165)
9 but, according as it hath been written, 'What eye did not see, and ear did not hear, and upon the heart of man came not up, what God did prepare for those loving Him — '
Antes, como está escrito: Ni ojo vio, ni oído oyó, ni en corazón de hombre subió lo que Dios preparó para los que le aman.
10 but to us did God reveal [them] through His Spirit, for the Spirit all things doth search, even the depths of God,
Empero Dios nos lo reveló a nosotros por su Espíritu; porque el Espíritu todo lo comprende, aun las profundidades de Dios.
11 for who of men hath known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that [is] in him? so also the things of God no one hath known, except the Spirit of God.
Porque ¿quién de los hombres sabe las cosas que son del hombre, sino el espíritu del mismo hombre que está en él? así tampoco nadie conoció las cosas que son de Dios, sino el Espíritu de Dios.
12 And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that [is] of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us,
Y nosotros hemos recibido no el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que es de Dios; para que conozcamos lo que Dios nos ha dado.
13 which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing,
Lo cual también hablamos no con palabras que enseña la humana sabiduría, sino en las que enseña el Espíritu Santo, acomodando lo espiritual a lo espiritual.
14 and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know [them], because spiritually they are discerned;
Mas el hombre natural no percibe las cosas que son del Espíritu de Dios; porque le son insensatez; ni las puede conocer, porque son espiritualmente examinadas.
15 and he who is spiritual, doth discern indeed all things, and he himself is by no one discerned;
Empero el espiritual examina (ciertamente) todas las cosas; mas él de nadie es examinado.
16 for who did know the mind of the Lord that he shall instruct Him? and we — we have the mind of Christ.
Porque ¿quién conoció la mente del Señor, para que le instruyese? Mas nosotros tenemos entendida la mente de Cristo.
