Psalms 80

1 To victorie; this salm is witnessing of Asaph for lilies. Thou that gouernest Israel, yyue tent; that leedist forth Joseph as a scheep. Thou that sittist on cherubym; be schewid bifore Effraym,

ऐ इस्राईल के चौपान! तू जो ग़ल्ले की तरह यूसुफ़ को ले चलता है, कान लगा! तू जो करूबियों पर बैठा है, जलवागर हो!

2 Beniamyn, and Manasses. Stire thi power, and come thou; that thou make vs saaf.

इफ़्राईम — ओ — बिनयमीन और मनस्सी के सामने अपनी कु़व्वत को बेदार कर, और हमें बचाने को आ!

3 God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.

ऐ ख़ुदा, हम को बहाल कर; और अपना चेहरा चमका, तो हम बच जाएँगे।

4 Lord God of vertues; hou longe schalt thou be wrooth on the preier of thi seruaunt?

ऐ ख़ुदावन्द लश्करों के ख़ुदा, तू कब तक अपने लोगों की दुआ से नाराज़ रहेगा?

5 Hou longe schalt thou feede vs with the breed of teeris; and schalt yyue drynke to vs with teeris in mesure?

तूने उनको आँसुओं की रोटी खिलाई, और पीने को कसरत से आँसू ही दिए।

6 Thou hast set vs in to ayenseiyng to oure neiyboris; and oure enemyes han scornyde vs.

तू हम को हमारे पड़ोसियों के लिए झगड़े का ज़रिए' बनाता है, और हमारे दुश्मन आपस में हँसते हैं।

7 God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.

ऐ लश्करों के ख़ुदा, हम को बहाल कर; और अपना चेहरा चमका, तो हम बच जाएँगे।

8 Thou translatidist a vyne fro Egipt; thou castidist out hethene men, and plauntidist it.

तू मिस्र से एक ताक लाया; तूने क़ौमों को ख़ारिज करके उसे लगाया।

9 Thou were leeder of the weie in the siyt therof; and thou plauntidist the rootis therof, and it fillide the lond.

तूने उसके लिए जगह तैयार की; उसने गहरी जड़ पकड़ी और ज़मीन को भर दिया।

10 The schadewe therof hilide hillis; and the braunchis therof filliden the cedris of God.

पहाड़ उसके साये में छिप गए, और उसकी डालियाँ ख़ुदा के देवदारों की तरह थीं।

11 It streiyte forth hise siouns til to the see, and the generacioun ther of `til to the flood.

उसने अपनी शाख़ समन्दर तक फैलाई, और अपनी टहनियाँ दरिया — ए — फरात तक।

12 Whi hast thou destried the wal therof; and alle men that goen forth bi the weie gaderiden awei the grapis therof?

फिर तूने उसकी बाड़ों को क्यूँ तोड़ डाला, कि सब आने जाने वाले उसका फल तोड़ते हैं?

13 A boor of the wode distriede it; and a singuler wielde beeste deuouride it.

जंगली सूअर उसे बरबाद करता है, और जंगली जानवर उसे खा जातेहैं।

14 God of vertues, be thou turned; biholde thou fro heuene, and se, and visite this vyne.

ऐ लश्करों के ख़ुदा, हम तेरी मिन्नत करते हैं, फिर मुतक्ज्जिह हो! आसमान पर से निगाह कर और देख, और इस ताक की निगहबानी फ़रमा।

15 And make thou it perfit, which thi riythond plauntide; and biholde thou on the sone of man, which thou hast confermyd to thee.

और उस पौदे की भी जिसे तेरे दहने हाथ ने लगाया है, और उस शाख़ की जिसे तूने अपने लिए मज़बूत किया है।

16 Thingis brent with fier, and vndurmyned; schulen perische for the blamyng of thi cheer.

यह आग से जली हुई है, यह कटी पड़ी है; वह तेरे मुँह की झिड़की से हलाक हो जाते हैं।

17 Thin hond be maad on the man of thi riythond; and on the sone of man, whom thou hast confermed to thee.

तेरा हाथ तेरी दहनी तरफ़ के इंसान पर हो, उस इब्न — ए — आदम पर जिसे तूने अपने लिए मज़बूत किया है।

18 And we departiden not fro thee; thou schalt quykene vs, and we schulen inwardli clepe thi name.

फिर हम तुझ से नाफ़रमान न होंगे: तू हम को फिर ज़िन्दा कर और हम तेरा नाम लिया करेंगे।

19 Lord God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.

ऐ ख़ुदा वन्द लश्करों के ख़ुदा! हम को बहाल कर; अपना चेहरा चमका तो हम बच जाएँगे!
