Psalms 65

1 `To victorie, `the salm of the song of Dauid. God, heriyng bicometh thee in Syon; and a vow schal be yolden to thee in Jerusalem.

O Dieu, la louange t'attend dans Sion; là seront rendus les vœux qu'on t'a faits.

2 Here thou my preier; ech man schal come to thee.

O toi qui entends la prière, toute créature viendra jusqu'à toi.

3 The wordis of wickid men hadden the maistrye ouer vs; and thou schalt do merci to oure wickidnessis.

Les iniquités avaient prévalu sur moi; mais toi, tu expieras nos transgressions.

4 Blessid is he, whom thou hast chose, and hast take; he schal dwelle in thin hallis. We schulen be fillid with the goodis of thin hous;

Heureux celui que tu choisis, et que tu fais habiter dans tes parvis! Nous serons rassasiés des biens de ta maison, de la sainteté de ton palais.

5 thi temple is hooli, wondurful in equite. God, oure heelthe, here thou vs; thou art hope of alle coostis of erthe, and in the see afer.

Tu nous répondras par des œuvres redoutables, selon ta justice, ô Dieu de notre salut, l'espoir des extrémités lointaines de la terre et de la mer!

6 And thou makest redi hillis in thi vertu, and art gird with power;

Il tient ferme les montagnes par sa force; il est ceint de puissance.

7 which disturblist the depthe of the see, the soun of the wawis therof.

Il apaise le bruit des mers, le bruit de leurs flots et la rumeur des peuples.

8 Folkis schulen be disturblid, and thei that dwellen in the endis schulen drede of thi signes; thou schalt delite the outgoingis of the morewtid and euentid.

Et ceux qui habitent aux bouts de la terre, craignent à la vue de tes prodiges; tu fais chanter de joie et le Levant et le Couchant.

9 Thou hast visitid the lond, and hast greetli fillid it; thou hast multiplied to make it riche. The flood of God was fillid with watris; thou madist redi the mete of hem, for the makyng redi therof is so.

Tu visites la terre, tu l'arroses, tu l'enrichis abondamment; les ruisseaux de Dieu sont pleins d'eau; tu prépares leur froment, après que tu as ainsi préparé la terre.

10 Thou fillynge greetli the stremes therof, multiplie the fruytis therof; the lond bringinge forth fruytis schal be glad in goteris of it.

Tu abreuves ses sillons; tu aplanis ses mottes; tu l'amollis par la pluie menue; tu bénis son germe.

11 Thou schalt blesse the coroun of the yeer of thi good wille; and thi feeldis schulen be fillid with plentee of fruytis.

Tu couronnes l'année de tes biens, et les roues de ton char distillent l'abondance.

12 The feire thingis of desert schulen wexe fatte; and litle hillis schulen be cumpassid with ful out ioiyng.

Elles la répandent sur les pâturages du désert, et les coteaux sont parés de joie.

13 The wetheris of scheep ben clothid, and valeis schulen be plenteuouse of wheete; thei schulen crye, and sotheli thei schulen seye salm.

Les campagnes sont revêtues de troupeaux, et les vallées sont couvertes de froment; elles en triomphent, et elles en chantent.
