Psalms 28
1 To Dauid. Lord, Y schal crye to thee; my God, be thou not stille fro me, be thou not stille `ony tyme fro me; and Y schal be maad lijk to hem, that goen doun in to the lake.
K tebi hočem klicati, oh Gospod, moja skala, ne bodi molčeč do mene, da ne bi, če boš do mene molčeč, postal podoben tem, ki gredo dol v jamo.
2 Lord, here thou the vois of my bisechyng, while Y preie to thee; whyle Y reise myn hondis to thin hooli temple.
Prisluhni glasu mojih ponižnih prošenj, ko kličem k tebi, ko svoje roke dvigujem k tvojemu svetemu oraklju.
3 Bitake thou not me togidere with synneris; and leese thou not me with hem that worchen wickidnesse. Whyche speken pees with her neiybore; but yuels ben in her hertis.
Ne odtegni me proč z zlobnimi in z delavci krivičnosti, ki svojim bližnjim govorijo mir, toda v njihovih srcih je vragolija.
4 Yyue thou to hem vpe the werkis of hem; and vpe the wickidnesse of her fyndyngis. Yyue thou to hem vpe the werkis of her hondis; yelde thou her yeldyng to hem.
Daj jim glede na njihova dejanja in glede na zlobnost njihovih prizadevanj. Daj jim po delu njihovih rok, povrni jim njihovo plačilo.
5 For thei vndurstoden not the werkis of the Lord, and bi the werkis of hise hondis thou schalt destrie hem; and thou schalt not bilde hem.
Ker ne upoštevajo Gospodovih del niti delovanja njegovih rok, jih bo uničil in jih ne bo zgradil.
6 Blissid be the Lord; for he herde the vois of my bisechyng.
Blagoslovljen bodi Gospod, ker je uslišal glas mojih ponižnih prošenj.
7 The Lord is myn helpere and my defendere; and myn herte hopide in hym, and Y am helpid. And my fleisch flouride ayen; and of my wille Y schal knowleche to hym.
Gospod je moja moč in moj ščit, moje srce je zaupalo vanj in pomagano mi je. Zato se moje srce silno razveseljuje in s svojo pesmijo ga bom hvalil.
8 The Lord is the strengthe of his puple; and he is defendere of the sauyngis of his crist.
Gospod je njihova moč in on je rešilna moč svojemu maziljencu.
9 Lord, make thou saaf thi puple, and blesse thou thin eritage; and reule thou hem, and enhaunse thou hem til in to with outen ende.
Reši svoje ljudstvo in blagoslavljaj svojo dediščino, tudi pasi jih in dvigni jih na veke.
