Psalms 15

1 Lord, who schal dwelle in thi tabernacle; ether who schal reste in thin hooli hil?

Ein Lied, von David. - Wer darf in Deinem Zelte wohnen, Herr? Wer darf auf Deinem heiligen Berge weilen?

2 He that entrith with out wem; and worchith riytfulnesse.

Nur wer unsträflich wandelt, tut, was recht ist, von Herzen Wahrheit redet,

3 Which spekith treuthe in his herte; which dide not gile in his tunge. Nethir dide yuel to his neiybore; and took not schenschip ayens hise neiyboris.

mit seiner Zunge nicht verleumdet, nichts Böses seinem Nächsten tut, nicht Schmach ob der Verwandten auf sich nimmt.

4 A wickid man is brouyt to nouyt in his siyt; but he glorifieth hem that dreden the Lord. Which swerith to his neiybore, and disseyueth not;

In dessen Blick ein hoffnungslos Verlorener verachtet ist, der Achtung hat vor denen, die den Herrn fürchten, zu seinem Schaden schwört und doch nicht ändert,

5 which yaf not his money to vsure; and took not yiftis on the innocent. He, that doith these thingis, schal not be moued with outen ende.

wer nicht sein Geld auf Zinsen leiht und gegen Unschuld nicht Bestechung nimmt, wer ohne Schwanken also handelt. -
