Philippians 4
1 Therfor, my britheren most dereworthe and most desirid, my ioye and my coroun, so stonde ye in the Lord, most dere britheren.
Perciò fratelli miei cari e desideratissimi, allegrezza e corona mia, state in questa maniera fermi nel Signore, diletti.
2 Y preye Eucodiam, and biseche Synticem, to vndurstonde the same thing in the Lord.
Io esorto Evodia, esorto parimente Sintiche, d'avere un medesimo sentimento nel Signore.
3 Also Y preye and thee, german felow, helpe thou the ilke wymmen that traueliden with me in the gospel, with Clement and othere myn helperis, whos names ben in the book of lijf.
Io prego te ancora, leal consorte, sovvieni a queste [donne], le quali hanno combattuto meco nell'evangelo, insieme con Clemente, e gli altri miei compagni d'opera, i cui nomi [sono] nel libro della vita.
4 Ioye ye in the Lord euere more; eft Y seie, ioye ye.
Rallegratevi del continuo nel Signore; da capo dico, rallegratevi.
5 Be youre pacyence knowun to alle men; the Lord is niy.
La vostra mansuetudine sia nota a tutti gli uomini, il Signore [è] vicino.
6 Be ye nothing bisi, but in al preyer and biseching, with doyng of thankyngis, be youre axyngis knowun at God.
Non siate con ansietà solleciti di cosa alcuna; ma sieno in ogni cosa le vostre richieste notificate a Dio, per l'orazione e per la preghiera, con ringraziamento.
7 And the pees of God, that passith al wit, kepe youre hertis and vndurstondingis in Crist Jhesu.
E la pace di Dio, la qual sopravanza ogni intelletto, guarderà i vostri cuori, e le vostre menti, in Cristo Gesù.
8 Fro hennus forth, britheren, what euere thingis ben sothe, what euere thingis chast, what euere thingis iust, what euere thingis hooli, what euere thingis able to be louyd, what euere thingis of good fame, if ony vertu, if ony preising of discipline, thenke ye these thingis,
Quant'è al rimanente, fratelli, tutte le cose che son veraci, tutte le cose [che sono] oneste, tutte le cose [che son] giuste, tutte le cose [che sono] pure, tutte le cose [che sono] amabili, tutte le cose [che son] di buona fama, se [vi è] alcuna virtù, e se [vi è] alcuna lode, a queste cose pensate.
9 that also ye han lerud, and take, and heed, and seyn in me. Do ye these thingis, and God of pees schal be with you.
Le quali ancora avete imparate, e ricevute, e udite [da me], e vedute in me; fate queste cose, e l'Iddio della pace sarà con voi.
10 But Y ioyede greetli in the Lord, that sum tyme aftirward ye floureden ayen to feele for me, as also ye feeliden. But ye weren ocupied, Y seie not as for nede,
OR io mi son grandemente rallegrato nel Signore, che omai voi siete rinverditi ad aver cura di me; di cui ancora avevate cura, ma vi mancava l'opportunità.
11 for Y haue lerud to be sufficient in whiche thingis Y am.
Io no[l] dico, perchè io abbia mancamento; perciocchè io ho imparato ad esser contento nello stato nel qual mi trovo.
12 And Y can also be lowid, Y can also haue plentee. Euery where and in alle thingis Y am tauyt to be fillid, and to hungur, and to abounde, and to suffre myseiste.
Io so essere abbassato, so altresì abbondare; in tutto, e per tutto sono ammaestrato ad esser saziato, e ad aver fame; ad abbondare, ed a sofferir mancamento.
13 Y may alle thingis in hym that coumfortith me.
Io posso ogni cosa in Cristo, che mi fortifica.
14 Netheles ye han doon wel, comynynge to my tribulacioun.
Tuttavolta, voi avete fatto bene d'aver dal canto vostro preso parte alla mia afflizione.
15 For and ye, Filipensis, witen, that in the bigynnyng of the gospel, whanne Y wente forth fro Macedonye, no chirche comynede with me in resoun of thing youun and takun, but ye aloone.
Or voi ancora, o Filippesi, sapete che nel principio dell'evangelo, quando io partii di Macedonia, niuna chiesa mi comunicò nulla, per conto del dare e dell'avere, se non voi soli.
16 Whiche senten to Tessalonyk onys and twies also in to vss to me.
Poichè ancora in Tessalonica mi avete mandato, una e due volte, quel che mi era bisogno.
17 Not for Y seke yifte, but Y requyre fruyt aboundinge in youre resoun.
Non già ch'io ricerchi i doni, anzi ricerco il frutto che abbondi a vostra ragione.
18 For Y haue alle thingis, and abounde; Y am fillid with tho thingis takun of Epafrodite, whiche ye senten in to the odour of swetnesse, a couenable sacrifice, plesynge to God.
Or io ho ricevuto il tutto, ed abbondo; io son ripieno, avendo ricevuto da Epafrodito ciò che mi è stato [mandato] da voi, [che è] un odor soave, un sacrificio accettevole, piacevole a Dio.
19 And my God fil alle youre desire, by hise richessis in glorie in Crist Jhesu.
Or l'Iddio mio supplirà ogni vostro bisogno, secondo le ricchezze sue in gloria, in Cristo Gesù.
Or all'Iddio, e Padre nostro, [sia] la gloria ne' secoli de' secoli. Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Amen. Grete ye wel euery hooli man in Crist Jhesu.
Salutate tutti i santi in Cristo Gesù.
22 Tho britheren that ben with me, greten you wel. Alle hooli men greten you wel, moost sotheli thei that ben of the emperouris hous.
I fratelli che [son] meco vi salutano; tutti i santi vi salutano, e massimamente quei della casa di Cesare.
23 The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with youre spirit. Amen.
La grazia del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo [sia] con tutti voi. Amen.
