Luke 21
1 And he biheeld, and saye tho riche men, that casten her yiftis in to the treserie;
Y mirando, vio a los ricos que echaban sus ofrendas en el arca del tesoro.
2 but he saye also a litil pore widewe castynge twei ferthingis.
Y vio también a una viuda pobre, que echaba allí dos blancas.
3 And he seide, Treuli Y seie to you, that this pore widewe keste more than alle men.
Y dijo: De verdad os digo, que esta viuda pobre echó más que todos.
4 For whi alle these of thing that was plenteuouse to hem casten in to the yiftis of God; but this widewe of that thing that failide to hir, caste al hir liflode, that sche hadde.
Porque todos estos, de lo que les sobra echaron para las ofrendas de Dios; mas esta de su pobreza echó todo su sustento que tenía.
5 And whanne sum men seiden of the temple, that it was apparailid with gode stoonus and yiftis,
Y a unos que decían del templo, que estaba adornado de hermosas piedras y dones, dijo:
6 he seide, These thingis that ye seen, daies schulen come, in whiche a stoon schal not be left on a stoon, which schal not be destried.
De estas cosas que veis, días vendrán, en que no quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.
7 And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Comaundour, whanne schulen these thingis be? and what tokne schal be, whanne thei schulen bigynne to be don?
Y le preguntaron, diciendo: Maestro, ¿cuándo será esto? ¿Y qué señal habrá cuándo estas cosas hayan de comenzar a ser hechas?
8 And he seide, Se ye, that ye be not disseyued; for many schulen come in my name, seiynge, For Y am, and the tyme schal neiye; therfor nyle ye go aftir hem.
El entonces dijo: Mirád, no seáis engañados; porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y el tiempo está cerca: por tanto no vayáis en pos de ellos.
9 And whanne ye schulen here batailis and stryues with ynne, nyle ye be aferd; it bihoueth first these thingis to be don, but not yit anoon is an ende.
Empero cuando oyereis de guerras y sediciones, no os espantéis; porque es menester que estas cosas acontezcan primero; mas no luego será el fin.
10 Thanne he seide to hem, Folk schal rise ayens folk, and rewme ayens rewme;
Entonces les dijo: Se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino;
11 grete mouyngis of erthe schulen be bi placis, and pestilencis, and hungris, and dredis fro heuene, and grete tokenes schulen be.
Y habrá grandes terremotos en cada lugar, y hambres, y pestilencias; y habrá prodigios, y grandes señales del cielo.
12 But bifore alle these thingis thei schulen sette her hoondis on you, and schulen pursue, bitakynge in to synagogis and kepyngis, drawynge to kyngis and to iusticis, for my name;
Mas antes de todas estas cosas os echarán mano, y perseguirán, entregándo os a las sinagogas, y a las cárceles, trayéndoos ante los reyes, y a los presidentes, por causa de mi nombre.
13 but it schal falle to you in to witnessyng.
Y os será esto para testimonio.
14 Therfor putte ye in youre hertis, not to thenke bifore, hou ye schulen answere; for Y schal yyue to you mouth and wisdom,
Ponéd pues en vuestros corazones de no pensar antes como hayáis de responder.
15 to whiche alle youre aduersaries schulen not mowe ayenstonde, and ayenseie.
Porque yo os daré boca y sabiduría, a la cual no podrán resistir, ni contradecir todos los que se os opondrán.
16 And ye schulen be takun of fadir, and modir, and britheren, and cosyns, and freendis, and bi deeth thei schulen turmente of you;
Mas seréis entregados aun por vuestros padres, y hermanos, y parientes, y amigos; y matarán a algunos de vosotros.
17 and ye schulen be in haate to alle men for my name.
Y seréis aborrecidos de todos, por causa de mi nombre.
18 And an heere of youre heed schal not perische;
Mas un pelo de vuestra cabeza no perecerá.
19 in youre pacience ye schulen welde youre soulis.
En vuestra paciencia poseéd vuestras almas.
20 But whanne ye schulen se Jerusalem ben enuyround with an oost, thanne wite ye, that the desolacioun of it schal neiye.
Y cuando viereis a Jerusalem cercada de ejércitos, sabéd entonces que su destrucción ha llegado.
21 Thanne thei that ben in Judee, fle to the mountans; and thei that ben in the mydil of it, gon awei; and thei that ben in the cuntreis, entre not in to it.
Entonces los que estuvieren en Judea, huyan a los montes; y los que estuvieren en medio de ella, váyanse; y los que en las otras regiones, no entren en ella.
22 For these ben daies of veniaunce, that alle thingis that ben writun, be fulfillid.
Porque estos son días de venganza, para que se cumplan todas las cosas que están escritas.
23 And wo to hem, that ben with child, and norischen in tho daies; for a greet diseese schal be on the erthe, and wraththe to this puple.
Mas, ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días! porque habrá apretura grande sobre la tierra, e ira sobre este pueblo.
24 And thei schulen falle bi the scharpnesse of swerd, and thei schulen be led prisoneris in to alle folkis; and Jerusalem schal be defoulid of hethene men, til the tymes of naciouns be fulfillid.
Y caerán a filo de espada, y serán llevados cautivos por todas las naciones; y Jerusalem será hollada de los Gentiles, hasta que los tiempos de los Gentiles sean cumplidos.
25 And tokenes schulen be in the sunne, and the mone, and in the sterris; and in the erthe ouerleiyng of folkis, for confusioun of sown of the see and of floodis;
Entonces habrá señales en el sol, y en la luna, y en las estrellas; y en la tierra apretura de naciones, con perplejidad; bramando la mar y las ondas;
26 for men schulen wexe drye for drede and abidyng that schulen come to al the world; for vertues of heuenes schulen be mouyd.
Secándose los hombres a causa del temor, y esperando las cosas que sobrevendrán a la redondez de la tierra; porque las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.
27 And thanne thei schulen se mannys sone comynge in a cloude, with greet power and maieste.
Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre, que vendrá en una nube con poder y grande gloria.
28 And whanne these thingis bigynnen to be maad, biholde ye, and reise ye youre heedis, for youre redempcioun neiyeth.
Y cuando estas cosas comenzaren a hacerse, mirád, y levantád vuestras cabezas; porque vuestra redención está cerca.
29 And he seide to hem a liknesse, Se ye the fige tre, and alle trees,
Y les dijo también una parábola: Mirád la higuera, y todos los árboles:
30 whanne thei bryngen forth now of hem silf fruyt, ye witen that somer is nyy;
Cuando ya brotan, viéndolos, de vosotros mismos entendéis que el verano está ya cerca:
31 so ye, whanne ye seen these thingis to be don, wite ye, that the kyngdom of God is nyy.
Así también vosotros, cuando viereis hacerse estas cosas, entendéd que está cerca el reino de Dios.
32 Treuli Y seie to you, that this generacioun schal not passe, til alle thingis be don.
De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación, hasta que todo sea hecho.
33 Heuene and erthe schulen passe, but my wordis schulen not passe.
El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.
34 But take ye heede to you silf, lest perauenture youre hertis be greuyd with glotony, and drunkenesse, and bisynessis of this lijf, and thilke dai come sodein on you; for as a snare it schal come on alle men,
Y mirád por vosotros, que vuestros corazones no sean cargados de glotonería y embriaguez, y de los cuidados de esta vida, y venga de improviso sobre vosotros aquel día.
35 that sitten on the face of al erthe.
Porque como un lazo vendrá sobre todos los que habitan sobre la haz de toda la tierra.
36 Therfor wake ye, preiynge in ech tyme, that ye be hadde worthi to fle alle these thingis that ben to come, and to stonde bifor mannus sone.
Velád, pues, orando a todo tiempo, que seáis habidos dignos de evitar todas estas cosas que han de venir, y de estar en pie delante del Hijo del hombre.
37 And in daies he was techynge in the temple, but in nyytis he yede out, and dwellide in the mount, that is clepid of Olyuet.
Y enseñaba entre día en el templo; y de noche saliendo, estábase en el monte que se llama de las Olivas.
38 And al the puple roos eerli, to come to hym in the temple, and to here hym.
Y todo el pueblo venía a él por la mañana, para oírle en el templo.
