Luke 16
1 He seide also to hise disciplis, Ther was a riche man, that hadde a baili; and this was defamed to him, as he hadde wastid his goodis.
ଯୀଶୁ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କହିଲେ, “ଜଣେ ଧନୀ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ; ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତା ଥିଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅଯଥା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରିଦେଉଅଛି ବୋଲି ତାହା ବିଷୟରେ ଶୁଣି ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଡାକି କହିଲେ,
2 And he clepide hym, and seide to hym, What here Y this thing of thee? yelde reckynyng of thi baili, for thou miyte not now be baili.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ଏ କି କଥା ଶୁଣୁଅଛି? ତୁମ୍ଭ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ହିସାବ ଦିଅ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତା ହୋଇ ରହି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
3 And the baili seide with ynne him silf, What schal Y do, for my lord takith awei fro me the baili? delfe mai Y not, I schame to begge.
ସେଥିରେ ସେହି ବେବର୍ତ୍ତା ମନେ ମନେ କହିଲା, କଅଣ କରିବି? ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁ ତ ମୋʼଠାରୁ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତାପଦ ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନେଉଅଛନ୍ତି। ମାଟି ହାଣିବାକୁ ମୋହର ବଳ ନାହିଁ, ଭିକ ମାଗିବାକୁ ମୋତେ ଲାଜ ଲାଗୁଅଛି।
4 Y woot what Y schal do, that whanne Y am remeued fro the baili, thei resseyue me in to her hous.
ମୁଁ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତାପଦରୁ ବାହାରିବା ପରେ ଲୋକ ଯେପରି ମୋତେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ କଅଣ କରିବି, ତାହା ବୁଝିଲିଣି।
5 Therfor whanne alle the dettours of his lord weren clepid togider, he seide to the firste, Hou myche owist thou to my lord?
ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଖାତକକୁ ପାଖକୁ ଡାକି ପ୍ରଥମ ଜଣକୁ କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କେତେ ଧାର ନେଇଅଛ? ସେ କହିଲା, ଶହେ ମହଣ ତୈଳ।
6 And he seide, An hundrid barelis of oyle. And he seide to hym, Take thi caucioun, and sitte soone, and write fifti.
ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ରସିଦ ନେଇ ଶୀଘ୍ର ବସି ପଚାଶ ବୋଲି ଲେଖ।
7 Aftirward he seide to another, And hou myche owist thou? Which answerde, An hundrid coris of whete. And he seide to hym, Take thi lettris, and write foure scoore.
ତାହା ପରେ ସେ ଆଉ ଜଣକୁ କହିଲା, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ ଧାର ନେଇଅଛ?’ ସେ କହିଲା, ‘ଶହେ ଭରଣ ଗହମ।’ ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲା, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭର ରସିଦ ନେଇ ଅଶୀ ବୋଲି ଲେଖ।’
8 And the lord preiside the baili of wickydnesse, for he hadde do prudentli; for the sones of this world ben more prudent in her generacioun than the sones of liyt. (aiōn g165)
ସେହି ଅବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ବେବର୍ତ୍ତା ବୁଦ୍ଧି ସହିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିବାରୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ; ଯେଣୁ ଏହି ଯୁଗର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଜାତି ପକ୍ଷରେ ଆଲୋକର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ। (aiōn g165)
9 And Y seie to you, make ye to you freendis of the ritchesse of wickidnesse, that whanne ye schulen fayle, thei resseyue you in to euerlastynge tabernaclis. (aiōnios g166)
ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଅଧର୍ମ ଧନରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବନ୍ଧୁ ଲାଭ କର, ଯେପରି ତାହା ଶେଷ ହେଲେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ବାସସ୍ଥାନରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ। (aiōnios g166)
10 He that is trewe in the leeste thing, is trewe also in the more; and he that is wickid in a litil thing, is wickid also in the more.
ଯେ ଅତି ଅଳ୍ପ ବିଷୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ, ସେ ବହୁତ ବିଷୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ଅଟେ, ପୁଣି, ଯେ ଅତି ଅଳ୍ପ ବିଷୟରେ ଅବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ସେ ବହୁତ ବିଷୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ।
11 Therfor if ye weren not trewe in the wickid thing of ritchesse, who schal bitake to you that that is verry?
ଅତଏବ, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଧର୍ମ ଧନରେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନାହଁ, ତେବେ କିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ସତ୍ୟ ଧନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବ?
12 And if ye weren not trewe in othere mennus thing, who schal yyue to you that that is youre?
ଆଉ, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରର ବିଷୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନାହଁ, ତେବେ କିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନିଜ ବିଷୟ ଦେବ?
13 No seruaunt may serue to twei lordis; for ether he schal hate `the toon, and loue the tothir; ethir he schal drawe to `the toon, and schal dispise the tothir. Ye moun not serue to God and to ritchesse.
କୌଣସି ଦାସ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସେ ଜଣକୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବ, ଅଥବା ଜଣକ ପ୍ରତି ଆସକ୍ତ ହେବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବର ଓ ଧନ ଉଭୟର ଦାସ ହୋଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।”
14 But the Farisees, that weren coueytous, herden alle these thingis, and thei scorneden hym.
ଏହିସବୁ କଥା ଶୁଣି ଧନଲୋଭୀ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
15 And he seide to hem, Ye it ben, that iustifien you bifor men; but God hath knowun youre hertis, for that that is hiy to men, is abhomynacioun bifor God.
ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜକୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବୋଲି ଦେଖାନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର ଲୋକ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ ଜାଣନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ଯାହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ, ତାହା ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଘୃଣିତ।
16 The lawe and prophetis til to Joon; fro that tyme the rewme of God is euangelisid, and ech man doith violence in to it.
ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଓ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ଥିଲା; ସେହି ସମୟଠାରୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟର ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାର ହେଉଅଛି, ଆଉ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ପରାକ୍ରମ ପୂର୍ବକ ସେଥିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
17 Forsothe it is liyter heuene and erthe to passe, than that o titil falle fro the lawe.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଇଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଏକ ବିନ୍ଦୁ ଲୋପ ପାଇବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବରଂ ଆକାଶ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ଲୋପ ପାଇବା ସହଜ।
18 Euery man that forsakith his wijf, and weddith an other, doith letcherie; and he that weddith the wijf forsakun of the hosebonde, doith auowtrie.
ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ବିବାହ କରେ, ସେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରେ; ପୁଣି, ଯେ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ବିବାହ କରେ, ସେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରେ।”
19 There was a riche man, and was clothid in purpur, and whit silk, and eete euery dai schynyngli.
“ଜଣେ ଧନୀ ଲୋକ ଥିଲା, ସେ କୃଷ୍ଣଲୋହିତ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧି ମହା ଆଡ଼ମ୍ବରରେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଆମୋଦ ପ୍ରମୋଦ କରୁଥିଲା;
20 And there was a begger, Lazarus bi name, that lai at his yate ful of bilis,
କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହାର ଫାଟକ ପାଖରେ ଲାଜାର ବୋଲି ଜଣେ ଭିକାରୀ ପଡ଼ି ରହିଥିଲା,
21 and coueitide to be fulfillid of the crummes, that fellen doun fro the riche mannus boord, and no man yaf to hym; but houndis camen, and lickiden hise bilis.
ତାର ଦେହରେ ଘାଆ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିଲା; ସେ ସେହି ଧନୀ ଲୋକର ମେଜରୁ ପଡ଼ିବା ଅଇଁଣ୍ଠାରୁ କିଛି ଖାଇ ପେଟ ପୁରାଇବାକୁ ଆଶା କରୁଥିଲା; ଆଉ କୁକୁରଗୁଡ଼ାକ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆସି ତାହାର ଘାଆ ସବୁ ଚାଟୁଥିଲେ।
22 And it was don, that the begger diede, and was borun of aungels in to Abrahams bosum. And the riche man was deed also,
କାଳକ୍ରମେ ସେହି ଭିକାରୀଟି ମରିଗଲା ଓ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ କୋଳକୁ ନିଆଗଲା; ପରେ ସେହି ଧନୀ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ୟ ମରିଗଲା ଓ ସମାଧି ପାଇଲା।
23 and was biried in helle. And he reiside hise iyen, whanne he was in turmentis, and say Abraham afer, and Lazarus in his bosum. (Hadēs g86)
ଆଉ, ସେ ନର୍କ-ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାରେ କଲବଲ ହୋଇ ଉପରକୁ ଚାହିଁ ଦୂରରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ କୋଳରେ ଲାଜାରକୁ ଦେଖିଲା। (Hadēs g86)
24 And he criede, and seide, Fadir Abraham, haue merci on me, and sende Lazarus, that he dippe the ende of his fyngur in watir, to kele my tunge; for Y am turmentid in this flawme.
ସେଥିରେ ସେ ଡାକି କହିଲେ, ‘ହେ ପିତା ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ମୋତେ ଦୟା କରି ଲାଜାରକୁ ପଠାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ, ଯେପରି ସେ ପାଣିରେ ନିଜ ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିର ଟିପ ବୁଡ଼ାଇ ମୋହର ଜିଭକୁ ଥଣ୍ଡା କରେ, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଏହି ନିଆଁରେ କଲବଲ ହେଉଅଛି।’
25 And Abraham seide to hym, Sone, haue mynde, for thou hast resseyued good thingis in thi lijf, and Lazarus also yuel thingis; but he is now coumfortid, and thou art turmentid.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ କହିଲେ, ‘ପୁଅରେ, ତୁ ଯେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ତୋର ଭଲ ବିଷୟସବୁ ପାଇଲୁ, ଆଉ ଲାଜାର ସେହିପରି ମନ୍ଦ ବିଷୟସବୁ ପାଇଲା, ଏହା ମନେ କର; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ପାଉଅଛି, ଆଉ ତୁ କଲବଲ ହେଉଅଛୁ।
26 And in alle these thingis a greet derk place is stablischid betwixe vs and you; that thei that wolen fro hennus passe to you, moun not, nethir fro thennus passe ouer hidur.
ତାହା ଛଡ଼ା ତୁମ ଓ ଆମ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବହୁତ ବଡ଼ ବ୍ୟବଧାନ ଅଛି, ଯେପରି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଯାଇ ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ କେହି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପାର ହୋଇ ଆସି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।’
27 And he seide, Thanne Y preie thee, fadir, that thou sende hym in to the hous of my fadir.
ସେଥିରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ‘ହେ ପିତା, ତାହାହେଲେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଅଛି, ତାହାକୁ ମୋହର ବାପାଙ୍କ ଘରକୁ ପଠାଉନ୍ତୁ,
28 For Y haue fyue britheren, that he witnesse to hem, lest also thei come in to this place of turmentis.
କାରଣ ମୋହର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଭାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଏହି ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାମୟ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ନ ଆସିବେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବେ।’
29 And Abraham seide to him, Thei han Moyses and the prophetis; here thei hem.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ କହିଲେ, ‘ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମୋଶା ଓ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଅଛି, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ।’
30 And he seide, Nay, fadir Abraham, but if ony of deed men go to hem, thei schulen do penaunce.
ସେଥିରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ‘ହେ ପିତା ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ତାହା ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯଦି ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଜଣେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯିବ, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେମାନେ ମନ-ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବେ।’
31 And he seide to hym, If thei heren not Moises and prophetis, nethir if ony of deed men rise ayen, thei schulen bileue to hym.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମୋଶା ଓ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ନ ଶୁଣନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ସେମାନେ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।’”
