Leviticus 1

1 Forsothe the Lord clepide Moyses, and spak to him fro the tabernacle of witnessyng, `and seide,

En de HEERE riep Mozes, en sprak tot hem uit de tent der samenkomst, zeggende:

2 Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, A man of you, that offrith to the Lord a sacrifice of beestis, that is, of oxun and of scheep, and offrith slayn sacrifices, if his offryng is brent sacrifice,

Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, en zeg tot hen: Als een mens uit u den HEERE een offerande zal offeren, gij zult uw offeranden offeren van het vee, van runderen en van schapen.

3 and of the droue of oxun, he schal offre a male beeste without wem at the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng, to make the Lord plesid to hym.

Indien zijn offerande een brandoffer van runderen is, zo zal hij een volkomen mannetje offeren; aan de deur van de tent der samenkomst zal hij dat offeren, naar zijn welgevallen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN.

4 And he schal sette hondis on the heed of the sacrifice, and it schal be acceptable, and profityng in to clensyng of hym.

En hij zal zijn hand op het hoofd des brandoffers leggen, opdat het voor hem aangenaam zij, om hem te verzoenen.

5 And he schal offre a calf bifor the Lord, and the sones of Aaron, preestis, schulen offre the blood ther of, and thei schulen schede bi the cumpas of the auter, which is bifor the dore of the tabernacle.

Daarna zal hij het jonge rund slachten voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; en de zonen van Aaron, de priesters, zullen het bloed offeren, en het bloed sprengen rondom dat altaar, hetwelk voor de deur van de tent der samenkomst is.

6 And whanne the skyn of the sacrifice is drawun awei, thei schulen kitte the membris in to gobetis;

Dan zal hij het brandoffer de huid aftrekken, en het in zijn stukken delen.

7 and thei schulen put vndur in the auter fier, and thei schulen make an heep of wode bifore; and thei schulen ordeyne aboue

En de zonen van Aaron, den priester, zullen vuur maken op het altaar, en zullen het hout op het vuur schikken.

8 `the trees tho thingis that ben kit, that is, the heed, and alle thingis that cleuen to the mawe,

Ook zullen de zonen van Aaron, de priesters, de stukken, het hoofd en het smeer, schikken op het hout, dat op het vuur is, hetwelk op het altaar is.

9 whanne the entrailis and feet ben waischid with watir; and the preest schal brenne tho on the auter, in to brent sacrifice, and swete odour to the Lord.

Doch zijn ingewand, en zijn schenkelen zal men met water wassen; en de priester zal dat alles aansteken op het altaar; het is een brandoffer, een vuuroffer, tot een liefelijken reuk den HEERE.

10 That if the offryng is of litle beestis, a brent sacrifice of scheep, ethir of geet, he schal offre a male beeste with out wem,

En indien zijn offerande is van klein vee, van schapen of van geiten, ten brandoffer, zal hij een volkomen mannetje offeren.

11 and he schal offre at the side of the auter that biholdith to the north, bifore the Lord. Sotheli the sones of Aaron schulen schede the blood therof on the auter `bi cumpas,

En hij zal dat slachten aan de zijde van het altaar noordwaarts, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN; en de zonen van Aaron, de priesters, zullen zijn bloed rondom op het altaar sprengen.

12 and thei schulen departe the membris, the heed, and alle thingis that cleuen to the mawe, and thei schulen putte on the trees, vndur whiche the fier schal be set;

Daarna zal hij het in zijn stukken delen, mitsgaders zijn hoofd en zijn smeer; en de priester zal die schikken op het hout, dat op het vuur is, hetwelk op het altaar is.

13 sotheli thei schulen waische in watir the entrailis and feet; and the preest schal brenne alle thingis offrid on the auter, in to brent sacrifice, and swettest odour to the Lord.

Doch het ingewand en de schenkelen zal men met water wassen; en de priester zal dat alles offeren en aansteken op het altaar; het is een brandoffer, een vuuroffer, tot een liefelijken reuk den HEERE.

14 Forsothe if the offryng of brent sacrifice to the Lord is of briddis, of turtlis, and of culuer briddis,

En indien zijn offerande voor den HEERE een brandoffer van gevogelte is, zo zal hij zijn offerande van tortelduiven, of van jonge duiven, offeren.

15 the preest schal offre it at the auter; and whanne the heed is writhun to the necke, and the place of the wounde is brokun, he schal make the blood renne doun on the brenke of the auter.

En de priester zal die tot het altaar brengen, en deszelfs hoofd met zijn nagel splijten, en op het altaar aansteken; en zijn bloed zal aan den wand des altaars uitgeduwd worden.

16 Sotheli he schal caste forth the litil bladdir of the throte, and fetheris bisidis the auter, at the eest coost, in the place in which the aischis ben wont to be sched out;

En zijn krop met zijn vederen zal hij wegdoen, en zal het werpen bij het altaar, oostwaarts, aan de plaats der as.

17 and he schal breke the wyngis therof, and he schal not kerue, nether he schal departe it with yrun; and he schal brenne it on the auter, whanne fier is set vndur the trees; it is a brent sacrifice, and an offryng of swete odour to the Lord.

Verder zal hij die met zijn vleugelen klieven, niet afscheiden; en de priester zal die aansteken op het altaar, op het hout, dat op het vuur is; het is een brandoffer, een vuuroffer, tot een liefelijken reuk den HEERE.
