Leviticus 24
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel,
I PAN powiedział do Mojżesza:
2 that thei brynge to thee oile of olyues, pureste oile, and briyt, to the lanternes to be ordeyned contynueli with out the veil of witnessyng,
Rozkaż synom Izraela, aby przynieśli ci czystą, wyciśniętą oliwę z oliwek, na oświetlenie, aby lampy ciągle się paliły.
3 in the tabernacle of boond of pees; and Aaron schal araye tho lanternes fro euentid `til to euentid bifor the Lord, bi religioun and custom euerlastynge in youre generaciouns;

Będzie ustawiał lampy na czystym świeczniku przed PANEM nieustannie.
5 Also thou schalt take wheete flour, and thou schalt bake therof twelue looues, which schulen haue ech bi hem silf twei tenthe partis,
Weźmiesz też mąki pszennej i upieczesz z niej dwanaście placków, każdy placek będzie z dwóch dziesiątych efy.
6 of whiche thou schalt sette sexe on euer eithir side, on a clenneste boord bifor the Lord;
Potem ułożysz je w dwóch rzędach, po sześć w [każdym] rzędzie, na czystym stole przed PANEM.
7 and thou schalt sette clereste encense on tho looues, that the looues be in to mynde of offryng of the Lord;
Na [każdy] rząd położysz czystego kadzidła, aby było pamiątką na chlebie, ofiarą spaloną dla PANA.
8 bi ech sabat tho schulen be chaungid bifor the Lord, and schulen be takun of the sones of Israel bi euerlastynge boond of pees;
W każdy dzień szabatu [kapłan] będzie je nieustannie układać przed PANEM, biorąc je od synów Izraela jako wieczne przymierze.
9 and tho schulen be Aarons and hise sones, that thei ete tho in the hooli place, for it is hooli of the noumbre of hooli thingis, of the sacrifices of the Lord, bi euerlastynge lawe.
I będą [należały] do Aarona i jego synów: będą je jeść w miejscu świętym, gdyż jest to dla nich najświętsza rzecz ze spalanych ofiar PANA jako wieczysta ustawa.
10 Lo! forsothe the sone of a womman of Israel, whom sche childide of a man Egipcian, yede out among the sones of Israel, and chidde in the castels with a man of Israel,
W tym czasie syn Izraelitki, którego ojcem był Egipcjanin, wyszedł między synów Izraela. I pokłócił się w obozie syn [tej] Izraelitki z pewnym Izraelitą.
11 and whanne he hadde blasfemyd the name of the Lord, and hadde cursid the Lord, he was brouyt to Moises; forsothe his modir was clepid Salumyth, the douytir of Dabry, of the lynage of Dan;
I syn Izraelitki bluźnił imieniu [PANA] i przeklinał. Przyprowadzono go więc do Mojżesza. A jego matce było na imię Szelomit, [była] córką Dibriego, z pokolenia Dana.
12 and thei senten hym to prisoun, til thei wisten what the Lord comaundide.
I osadzili go pod strażą, żeby im oznajmiono, co PAN rozkaże uczynić.
13 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,
Wtedy PAN powiedział do Mojżesza:
14 Lede out the blasfemere without the castels, and alle men that herden, sette her hondis on his heed, and al the puple stone hym.
Wyprowadź bluźniercę poza obóz i niech wszyscy, którzy to słyszeli, położą swoje ręce na jego głowie i niech ukamienuje go całe zgromadzenie.
15 And thou schalt speke to the sones of Israel, A man that cursith his God,
A synom Izraela powiedz tak: Ktokolwiek przeklnie swego Boga, obciąży się swym grzechem.
16 schal bere his synne, and he that blasfemeth the name of the Lord, die bi deeth; al the multitude of the puple schal oppresse hym with stoonus, whether he that blasfemede the name of the Lord is a citeseyn, whether a pilgrym, die he bi deeth.
Ten również, kto zbluźnił imieniu PANA, poniesie śmierć: Ukamienuje go całe zgromadzenie. Zarówno przybysz, jak i rodowity mieszkaniec, jeśli zbluźni imieniu PANA, poniesie śmierć.
17 He that smytith and sleeth a man, die bi deeth;

18 he that smytith a beeste, yelde oon in his stide, that is, lijf for lijf.
A kto zabije zwierzę, zwróci inne: zwierzę za zwierzę.
19 If a man yyueth a wem to ony of hise citeseyns, as he dide, so be it don to him;
Kto też ranił swego bliźniego, niech mu uczynią tak, jak on uczynił.
20 he schal restore brekyng for brekyng, iye for iye, tooth for tooth; what maner wem he yaf, he schal be compellid to suffre sich a wem.
Złamanie za złamanie, oko za oko, ząb za ząb; jak ranił człowieka, tak niech mu oddadzą.
21 He that smytith werk beeste, yeelde another; he that smytith a man, schal be punyschid.
Kto zabije zwierzę, zwróci inne; lecz kto zabije człowieka, poniesie śmierć.
22 Euene doom be among you, whether a pilgrym ethir a citeseyn synneth, for Y am youre Lord God.
Będziecie mieli jedno prawo zarówno dla przybysza, jak i dla rodowitego mieszkańca, gdyż ja jestem PAN, wasz Bóg.
23 And Moyses spak to the sones of Israel, and thei brouyten forth out of the castels hym that blasfemede, and oppressiden with stoonus. And the sones of Israel diden, as the Lord comaundide to Moyses.
I Mojżesz przemówił do synów Izraela, a wyprowadzili bluźniercę poza obóz i ukamienowali go. I synowie Izraela uczynili tak, jak PAN przykazał Mojżeszowi.
